SO Close Issue

Hi SAP Gurus...
While i am trying to close SO i am getting the below error..
Subsequent function 'Purchase requisition from
sales document' not possible due to a credit block
How do go for this...

Dear Friend,
I understand Basic Price is from COndition Record.
But you will surely have a manual Discount or Price Adjestment Condition type available.
Use this Condition Type to make the value of Sales Order to zero or near zero.
Then try to close the Sales Order.
Also if PR is generated then delete the PR line item in ME52N then close the Sales Order.

PO short close issue

Hi All
Last two years before we have created PO and GR completed successfully IR not yet completed but invoice raised via normal posting instead of invoice receipt due to the reason still PO is showing open item.
How to close the PO which invoice raised via normal posting. I have tried to change delivery marked as completed in ME22N still PO is showing open item.
Please help us to resolve this issue.

Although I'm not sure why you have posted the invoice direct in FI module, when its always a good practice to post Invoice using MIRO as the values are matched with the PO and GR. You should be aware of these implications.
Should you still want to mark the PO as closed, on each line item, in the Invoice Tab, tick the Final Invoice Indicator.

CLOSE ISSUE - FI PCA transfer issue

Hello Friends
We have an critical issue which is holding our close now.
After transferring AP AR Subledger and PCA transfer we see that some accounts have different balance in PCA compare to FI.
In detail, we did the following steps -
Used T Code F.5D Which calculates the Balance sheet Adjustments AP AR documents
Used T code 1KEK to transfer the AP AR to PCA
Went to SM37 to process the same
Checked the Job Log and confirmed that there are no errors
Used Y_DEV_19000069 report to check whether the balances are transferred correctly to PCA and found the above differences

Issue was solved . We find those accounts in 3KEH.
We have to remove them from 3KEH for the amounts to be trasfered to profit centers.

Oracle Apex SkillsModal auto close issue on 4.2.1

I have installed and setup Skillbuilders Modal v2 on 4.2.1 but i am not able to get the page refeshed and success message displayed.

First of all thank you paul. secondly, i am new to apex and just started.
I have everything setup as you mentioned but for some reason the modal page does not refresh
the original page and the success messages does not display either. I have also setup the links using modal
popup and that does not popup either. id is realted to link and edit button is realted to
Here are the issues i am facing.
1. The edit pages does not refresh[Have setup the reset page], the old values are still displayed.
example: you can click on any one of the customers and update them and then go back and click
on the other it will display the same data.
2. the auto close sometimes does not close automitacally.
3. The edit link does not pop up with the modal page.

PR Close issue

Hi MM Techies,
I am supporting a Project. Where the User Requirement is like below..
Help me out in giving solution.
I have created a PR , say with 10 line items.
The PR has got the release procedure. After final release only it will allow to create a PO.
Once final release is over for PR, the PR creator will have only display access for that PR. There is No authorization for change.
After doing PO and GR for 5 line items of the PR out of 10 line items. the PR creator realises there is no demand of other 5 line items , which are pending for PO creation.. reason may be like cancelation of customer order.. etc
Then how should the PR creator can close the PR.
Please note this point , Once final release is over for PR, the PR creator will have only display access for that PR. There is No authorization for change.
Due to that he can't chose the indicator closed in item level tab quantities/dates, aslo he can't block in item level tab status.
Like this there may be more than 1000 of PO's.
Tell me if any program should be written in case it is not possible in standard.

HI,
It seems like you are asking for the impossible, you say that you want the P req blocked for input when it has been released (this is easy enough). But you are alos saying that you want the same user to be abble to close the P req.
I have suggested a field selection key that stops all fields being changed APART from the closed indicator and yet you are saying that this does not do what you need???
Why does this not do what you need? the user cannot change anything except the closed flag.

I have created po for 100 quantity.grn completed for 25qty,another 75 quantity need not do the grn.i am activating delivery completed in po also,eventhough my system allow to do grn,plz help

Hi Sardarji,
It is the correct system behaviour, It is programmed like this only and is standard system behavior.
As proposed by sap:
To stop the system from proposing a quantity in Transactions MB01 or MIGO and to prevent a GR posting, you can proceed as follows: ( choose any of these, best option is third one)
1. Reduce the purchase order quantity to the previous GR quantity.
2. Block the purchase order item.
(ME22N: Block pushbutton; ME22 Menu -> Edit -> Block)
3.Fill the date field for the 'Latest Possible Goods Receipt' (LEWED) in the purchase order item Delivery tab. If you do this and you enter a GR document after this date, the system issues message M7163, which you must set as an error message in Customizing ( T.code: OMCQ)
4. A warning message can also be set T.CODE OMCQ: M7 244

Demo Close Issue

We have multiple Captivate demos creates with Captivate
1.0.1188. In the Captivate project, each is set to close after
playback. However, when we view the output, one demo will close the

Hi James,
There is "close" and then there is "
close". In one case the movie is closing but the window in
which it played remains open. In another, the actual window in
which the movie played is itself closing.
Internet Explorer will not normally allow you to saw off the
branch on which you are sitting. In other words, if the window the
movie is playing in is the
only open browser window, it may refuse to auto-close; but
if the movie ends after playing in a "new" (additional) browser
window, that window will be allowed to close - because the "parent"
window is still open.
So in a sense, whether the window will automatically close
will depend on the circumstances in which it originally opened.
Hope this makes sense, and helps you get it sorted.

Window popup close issue in jsf

I am having add/edit functionlaity in window popup and when i close the window by calling javascript:window.close.
The following exception comes at server. Kindly tell me how i can avoid this exception at server.

You need to submit the form from the parent window, not from the popup window. When the window will be closed, all processing requests will be stopped immediately. Hence the "connection reset by peer" error message (which roughly means as "the other side has aborted the connection, we can't send a response anymore").

Production order close issue

Hello all,
When i try to close a production order i am getting following error message and not allowing to close
the error message as follows:
WiP in Financial Accounting is still to be cleared/settled
Message no. KD276
Diagnosis
Work in process was settled for your object ORD in Financial Accounting but has not yet been cleared.
You can only close your object when no work in process exists for this object in Financial Accounting.
Procedure
If results analysis has not taken place:
Carry out results analysis to determine or clear the work in process on the object.
Carry out settlement (again, if applicable) to post the clearing of the work in process in Financial Accounting.
Close the order.
If settlement has not taken place:
Carry out the settlement, to post the clearing of the work in process in Financial Accounting.
Close the order.
but the we have already executed WIP , Variance and settlement for this order and there is no balance showing for this order.
Can anyone let me know how to proceed on this.

Hope you have checked the order cost analysis and KKBC_ORD for this order and you observed that there is no balance. However I have seen in some cases when there was need of GI reversal, the user, instead of reversing the material document made a fresh MIGO using mov type 262 against the production order and this situation came. The order was showing zero balance but the system was giving the same message. I did reversal of the document posted by user and then reversed the original GI document and got the success. you can check your order from this angle also.
The first line of 'diagnosis' is saying that you have created and settled the WIP against this order, may be in earlier period but in this period you are calculating only variance on this order hence the system is not able to do the WIP equal to ZERO. So as suggested by Ajay sir do WIP calculation on this order.
How ever I am just adding to Ajay Sir view that you also have to do variance calculation on this order and after that do settlement. Then try to close the order, I hope it will go through.

Reading a spreadsheet file with the Read assistant - File Close Issue

I'm using the assistant to read a comma delimited spreadsheet file but it won't close the file when it is done, unless I close/stop the VI. If I don't use the assistant the file closes fine. I need to do this in order to open the file (not as read-only) for other programs while the VI is running.

Sorry, I am unclear what you mean by "assitant". Are you talking about the express VI?
In any case, reading a comma delimited file is pretty simple, just use the plain file I/O finctions and set the access options as desired.

Opening and closing Multiple TCP connections issues

Hi all I am having an issue with the TCP VI’s and wondering if anyone has experienced this issue.
My application is required to scan 50-100 IP addresses (statically assigned) and discover if an Ethernet device is connect at that IP address. Currently I am able to achieve this by opening a TCP connection and testing the error cluster to determine if a timeout has occurred (no timeout error means Ethernet device available at the IP address). I then ensure that the TCP connections are closed.
The issue I am have is that I require a 1 second delay between the TCP open and the TCP close which significantly slows down the process. Without the 1 second delay the vi successfully connects to the device once then fails to make any TCP connect regardless of the time delay until the PC is reset.
If anyone has any advice I would be very grateful

That means you keep returning a wait of 1 second 50-100 times so It takes 50-100 seconds just to initialize. I think the user is looking for a way to check for valid connections, but do so in such a way that eliminates the need for a wait which is greatly slowing things down.
