I only started naming things when I got my macbook 1 and a half years ago. I named him Gerard because:
a) It's fun to say in a French accent. (I was majoring in French at that point.)
b) Gerard Butler's yummy.
c) Gerard is a relatively uncommon name, for me at least.
I then proceded to name my 2nd gen iPod Touch Gerry because I pretty much used it as a computer, or a mini Gerard. xD
So I have decided to name my iPhone Gerry 2.0. Because I'm getting the iPhone mainly as a replacement for my 8gb iPod cause it ran out of space. (I figured if I was about to spend $300 on an iPod Touch, why not just condense iPod and phone? Yay!)

Laptop is Lilah, short for Delilah, from the song Hey There Delilah. B/c my husband bought the MacBook for me before his first deployment. And it felt appropriate.
Desktop is Frank. Frank the Tank. Because it's so big. And luxurious.

Also, if you have iCloud, you will probably also want to change the iCloud account on the phone to be yours:

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

You do not need a special headset for your iPhone. Did you pair the headset with the new iPhone? You may have to read the instructions for the headset to see if you have to put it in "discovery" mode before it will show up on the iPhone's Bluetooth settings page.

Go to system preferences and the sharing tab, then change the "computer name".
That's not a problem for anything.
If you had links from the other computer in the name.local format, you'll just need to update them.

If you are repeatedly being asked to log into iCloud, first verify the Apple ID and password you use for iCloud is correct. Then sign out of your iCloud account on the iPhone and sign back in.

If your phone is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it to an updated version of the old ID, do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). When finished goThen go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
