So frustrating...album artwork is all messed up!! Please help!

I have been spending the last few days getting album artwork for about 200 full-length albums on my 120 GB Ipod Classic. They were all in order in cover flow for awhile now it's all the wrong artwork. If I scroll through sometimes it would go through almost 10 of the same cover art. I have tried everything from deleting artwork and starting again and still the same thing. I was thinking about restoring the Ipod but cannot find the "restore" button. On the summary page it says "If you are experiencing problems with your Ipod, you can restore it's original setting by clicking restore" but there is nothing that says restore anywhere on the page.I need some serious help with this!

I own Thousands of CD's an have spent countless hours copying them over to my computers.. I buy an iPod and notice something strange my covers are a messed up a little, so I spend the time to fix them. I by an iPhone and once again the covers are screwed up. now today I notice they are all different.My iPod my iPad and my iPhone as well as my iMac and Windows PC's this has to be an issue with the iTunes software.What happened? how do I correct this without loosing all my time again. this has also affected my music that I have purchased from the iTunes store.

Your iPod's artwork cache may have become corrupt. I would suggest clearing it out and rebuilding it. To do this:
1. Plug the iPod in and when it appears in iTunes, click on its device name on the left pane of iTunes if necessary
2. Under the Music tab, remove the check mark next to “include album artwork on this iPod.”
3. Hit Apply to sync the updated changes.
4. After it has finished syncing, place the check mark back next to “include album artwork on this iPod” option.
5. Again, hit Apply to sync the updated changes.
6. Lastly, properly eject your iPod, and verify that the album artwork is correct.

after i synchronized my ipod, all the album photos were all messed up!
This is my first time to encounter such thing. I tried to reset it (pressing MENU and the central botton at the same time for a few sec.) and also update my ipod, bt none of these could help.
What else can i do?Does anyone also have this problem?

How do i copy album artwork to all the songs in an album as some of the songs do not have the artwork, as with the previous version of itunes you had to load artwork individually.
I have tried the copy and paste option and that does not work

That suggests some underlying issue, as iTunes has always (AFAIR) allowed artwork to be assigned with multiple tracks in a single action. For an album, right-click on the album, select Get Info, select the Artwork tab. You then have three options:
If the artwork image exists as a file, click the Get Artwork button, browse to and select the file, then click Open.
Drag and drop the image file from Windows Explorer to the Artwork tab (previous releases also allowed drag and drop from a web browser, this functionality is missing - either by design or as the result of a bug - in iTunes 12).
If you've copied the artwork image to the clipboard, press Ctrl-V on the keyboard to paste in the image (prior to the 1st release of iTunes 12 this could also be done using right-click > Paste - hopefully this will be restored as a bug-fix in the next update)

There are three possible causes for this:
The format of your media files doesn't support embedded artwork - specifically, uncompressed audio in WAV format. You'll need to convert to Apple Lossless (without loss of quality) or either MP3 or AAC (if you're OK with lossy media) before artwork images can be associated with your media.
Windows' permissions are preventing your media files from being updated when iTunes attempts to embed the images (in a perfect world iTunes should report this as an error, but it actually does nothing). To check this, find the folder that contains media of interest in Windows Explorer (by default this will be C:\Users\user_name\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\artist_name\album_name), right-click and select Properties, Security tab - check that your Windows user account has full control over the folder.
The media files that you're trying to add artwork to may be set to read-only in Windows. Select the folder as before in Windows Explorer, right-click > Properties and make sure that the Read-only flag is cleared.

Do I have to cut and paste album artwork for all the albums in my library?

So my 4gb ipod 1st gen is pretty much dead so I've bought a 3rd gen. 8gb nano, upgraded my iTuunes software to 7.5 and syncd my library onto my new iPod. All songs I've bought from iTunes have album artwork and one other old album I uploaded myself alos has album artwork but all 130 of the other albums in my library do not have artwork.
I've gone to Advanced> Get Album Artwork, but I get the error message "could not find some artwork". I can't understand why only one of my uploaded albums has artwork visible on iTunes but all of the others don't? Do I really ahve to cut and past from Amazon for each album? Hope the anser is "No" becasue that's really time consuming!

I guess you've figured out that the answer is "yes". Remember you can do groups of songs (like an album) at a time by selecting them and doing "get info". Also, by saving album art in the mp3 file, you can save it permanently.

A ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
First Try a Restore from Backup... But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup... Then a Restore as New is the way to go...

My album artwork is all mixed up. How do I fix this?

(For example: If it was an All Time Low song, the artwork would be One Direction). I've tried to resync my phone to iTunes but it doens't do anything.

Some more detail would be useful. When you say your album artwork is all mixed up, is that in iOS only, or in iTunes only, or in both? Are you syncing via USB or with Wi-Fi? Do you use iTunes Match?
You can try the following:
1. Connect your iDevice with a USB cable to your computer.
2. In iTunes select your iDevice, click the Summary tab, uncheck Wi-Fi Sync (because it is seriously broken, replacing album art with random art at times). Click apply.
3. Go to your iDevice -> Settings -> General -> Useage -> Storage -> Find Music and swipe right to left -> Delete.
4. Sync your music via iTunes.
If you're using iTunes Match (skip step 4 above):
5. Go to Settings -> Music -> Turn off iTunes Match -> Then turn on iTunes Match.
If you do not delete the music via Settings -> General -> Useage -> Storage first you will never be able to rid yourself of the already synced/downloaded album art.

Hmm. The problem still may be the RAM - Apple buys the RAM it puts in its machines from third-party vendors (usually Hynix) so it could be a RAM problem.
There are a couple of things that you can do yourself before taking your machine into an Apple Store or an AASP... download and run an application named Rember that will run a RAM test for you - let it run for a couple of hours or even overnight. If it turns out that your RAM is faulty, Rember will let you know. If it is faulty, then you have a couple of options - replace the RAM yourself or (particularly if you're under warranty still) take the machine to an Apple Store or AASP and have them replace the RAM.
If Rember finds no fault with the RAM, then you'll need to take it into an Apple Store/AASP and get a free diagnosis on the machine. Three beeps do usually indicate faulty RAM, but if it tests good with Rember you likely have another problem - it could be something as simple as the RAM, somehow, not seated correctly or signs of another hardware problem.
Run Rember first... call back with results.

I turned on my laptop this evening to import a new cd but it asked me if i wanted to download the new version of itunes so i went ahead to update it but it failed to update then it failed to open at all, and and runtime error keeps popping up but when i uninstalled it to reinstall it it wont install now and i cant use my ipod or ipad with my laptop without itunes and i never had this problem at all. can you please help?

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

If you are in a country where music can be redownloaded then it should show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone, and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If it doesn't show there then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes find it ?
