So i accidently dropped my ipod on the sement. I went to get it fixed. The man who was "fixing it" completely messed up my ipod. So now my ipod screen does not work at all. What can you guys do to help me? Is there any chance I can replace it for a much cheaper price?

Is there a much cheaper price? What if i bring a 3rd generation ipod that doesn't really work and the 4th generation ipod that kinda works?

Likely caused by one of the following: a bad cable, maybe a bad connection or (my guess) bad graphics hardware.
To rule out the software, see if booting from an installer DVD shows better color.
Swap the cables and check the connections.
Then call your hardware support provider.

My pc says Firefox is running after I close the browser, and will not let me access the internet. This continues even after I shut down and restart my pc. It even continues to do it after I uninstal, then reinstal Firefox. What can I do?

We tried uninstalling , tyen reinstalling Firefox, but we still get the error message that Firefox is running, and the PC won't open the browser.
We went to the Task Manager on our PC, which said Firefox was running, and told TM to close it. But, when we try to then open Firefox, we get the same error message.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Hp 2000 did factory reset, won't boot up, need disc but don't have one!!!! What can I do.....???????

I had to do a factory restore on my hp 2000. It said it completed to then click finish to restart so I did, but now it won't boot back up says I need the windows disc, but I don't have one. Called tech support my warranty is out so I had to pay (ok I get that but at the moment im flat broke, no joke!). Ok so what can I do to recover this without a disc??? I was told there are steps but I don't know them!! My kid uses that laptop for school, so I really kinda need to figure this out. If you are in US or Canada there is an option to order Recovery Disks on your support page in the 'drivers & software' list for around $16. You can find your support page using the link at top of this page titled "Support and Drivers". To find the correct page you will need full Model number or Product number as listed on the Service Tag attached to bottom of laptop. Brought my phone to Apple to get my screen replaced and now it won't turn on!! HELP

I brought my phone to Apple yesterday with my friend, and the employee helping me told me that there was a chance that the screen wouldn't be able to get fixed. When I went to go pick it up they told me that the machine had broken my phone and it was completely dead and that I would have to pay the full price for a new phone. They could tell I was getting upset (because now I have no phone) and he told me that the guy I gave my phone to told me that this might happen but HE DID NOT, my friend as a witness. Now I just have a phone that they broke completely (when it worked perfectly fine before, it just had a broken screen) and they refused to help me any further. Is there anything I can do to get my phone to work again? I don't understand why Apple wouldn't have to replace it when they broke it and they DID NOT tell me that there was a possibility that this could happen, I feel like they just said that afterwards so they wouldn't be responsible. PLEASE HELP.

It had not been used for awhile and most of the songs that were on there were gone when I turned it on. I was trying to sync to update the library.

Weeks, months, years? It's possible your battery is dying. Take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

You can make a Genius Bar appointment to have the device looked at. If the device is still under warranty and they identify a problem, then Apple makes the final decision as to a replacement. If the device is out of warranty and they identify a problem, you would be offered the opportunity to purchase an out of warranty replacement at a discounted price.

After being connected to a charging source overnight try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Try cleaning the dock connector. Try a new cable or charger.
If no luck, it should be covered under warranty.

Data on 4 of 5 calendars disappeared. Apple support could not help either on phone or in person at store. I thought the info was backed up, but it was not. The data is gone, but I still wonder what happened.

Data on 4 of 5 calendars on ical covering dates from 1/1/2013 through 1/22/2014 simply disappeared. Apple support could not offer an explanation, after two hours on the phone, and over an hour at the Apple store (genius bar). I thought the data was backed up, but data for the same dates was also missing from my external hard drive.
All the information prior to 1/1/2013 and after 1/22/2014 still exists, along with dates into the future. The missing data apparently no longer exists anywhere, but I am curious as to what may have happened, and is there something I can do to prevent it from happening again. Backing up on an external hard drive is obviously not the answer.

Have you tried resetting Calendars in iCloud ?
If not, open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Calendars then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data if it can.
