So, I dropped my phone today on the cement, it works...with minor annoying glitches, has nasty bluish vertical lines and the picture is a tad distorted as well. :/ Does this mean I need to spend tons of money to get this fixed? Ahhhh! Help!

I recently purchased/upgraded from Premiere Elements 5 to Premiere Elements 9 and I cannot open the projects in version 9 that were created with version 5. It shows it as offline. I ran G-Spot on one of the files and here it what I have:
DVD "VOB" format
MPEG-2 Program Stream << { 1 vid, 1 aud }
Sys Bitrate: 10080 kb/s VBR
I guess I am really confused. The project that I am trying to open PrE 9 was completed in PrE 3 w/templates , scenes, etc. The movie was burned to a DVD. I cannot understand why I cannot open it with a newer version of PrE. According to G-Spot (I am assuming this is what you mean above), it is already in 2 channels. To me this should be ok. I put many, many hours into these videos and now it seems all for not.
Here is what I did so far:
I uploaded the required media files to a new project in PrE9 and let them index and conform. I saved the project with the same name in a different location. Do I have to do this to the project files and/or the original media files? Confusion starts here.
The next step is where I am confused. I do not know if I am proceeding in the right direction from here. There is the share tab in the upper right hand corner. Is this what you are talking about? I am truly lost from here.

My iPod is not syncing with my computer, it has been plugged in overnight, and the circle that turns while syncing is still going, and it won't allow me to eject my iPod, how do I fix this?

I was away for 6 weeks backpacking in europe with my iPod, and I got back yesterday, and now it won't sync with my laptop anymore, the circle has just been spinning, and I can't eject it. It did charge though.

- Close iTunes, force close if necessary. Then didconnect the iPod and reboot the computer and try again
- If you still having problem, reset the iPod . Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next place the iPod in Recovery mode and try to restore.
- Then try DFU mode.

This appened when i was talking with a friend on Skype, by error i did click on the video and slowly the vertical lines appeared and covered all ma desktop. Since then, it still there and the only things i see it is the vertical lines and the arrow with the little square.

Hello, sounds like Video card and/or heat problems.
Have you blown the dust out lately? Let it cool for an hour or so.
Get Temperature Monitor to see if it's heat related...

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode).

You can try resetting it to see if that turns it on, but if it does not work, the iPhone is probably damaged from the fall and you should take it to an Apple Store so that they can have a look and determine if it is repairable. An out of warranty replacement will cost you money but much less than if you had to buy a new phone.

Macbook pro fan making loud noises and going really fast. Now the fan doesn't work at all and my computer gets extremely hot almost instantly. Is there a way to fix it without having to pay a ton of money to have someone fix it for me?

I've had my Macbook pro for about 3 1/2 years now. It has worked great until recently. A few months ago I noticed that the fan would always run really fast when I was doing simple tasks. After a few weeks/months, the fan was still really fast but it also started to make these loud noises. Now, it only occasionally makes the loud noise if I move my computer after its been stationary for a while. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

This is a wireless carrier issue. The fact that the speaker & microphone work properly for other apps is a great indicator that your device is fine.
Contact your wireless carrier about your call quality issue.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If it does not resolve the issue, the device is permanently damaged and will require replacement.
