So I got my new battery today (from the recall)...

and as soon as I put it in my Powerbook to charge it, I got a kernel panic (I've only gotten one once before over a year ago from bad memory).
Then I let it sit waiting for it to charge, and nothing was happening even though the power cord was yellow. 3 hours later it finally decides to charge on it's own?
coconutBattery says it's already been through 1 load cycle and the capacity is 4400 mAh and my capacity 4363 mAh.
Should I not worry about it now?

I got 3 new batteries from the recall, and one does not charge out of the box. Shows max normal capacity, but zero charge...
Are these refurb batteries?
