So I have a macbook with latest version 10.4.11 and bought an ipad, now i can't synch it neither can I download Itunes version 10.5 or higher as it is not compatible. Is there any other way than having to buy a new laptop? This seems ridiculous

Maggie, if you go to http://www.everymac.com and look at the MacBook list, and find your machine, all 2006 and later had Core 2 Duo cpus so could use Mac OS X through Lion. They only have 1 GB ram so that would have to be upgraded, can use up to 4 GB which would be preferred for Lion. You could easily upgrade that machine to Snow Leopard, 10.6.8 is the highest, and raise the memory to 2 GB so it woud run better. You can then use the latest iTunes and have easy syncing of your iPad.
Memory can be found at Mac specialists like Crucial and OWC, http://www.macsales.com they guarantee their ram and have on-line videos on installing.
Just some things to think about.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

I am in between PC's, meaning I don't currently have a home computer (actually looking to purchase a MacBook but not for another 1-2 months). I want to synch my iPod with the music we've been purchasing via my iPad.
I am figuring it is possible to go to a friend's house and use their computer to access my iTunes account and synch...is there any other way? Just asking, just in case...
Thanks so much!The only way to clear off the passcode is to restore the device. You could always try the restore process on another computer that has iTunes just to get the iPod working again, then you could plug it back into your comptuer to sync all of his content back on the iPod.

I recently bought a macbook and im trying yo sync all my 2600 photos to it but my phone is synced to another computer in another country which i cant access!! Will i loose all my photos or is there any other way of keeping them and uploading to my new mac?????

My iPhone 4s notified me that I had to manage my storage so I deleted apps that used a lot of space I deleted almost all my picture and it still keeps telling me I don't have enough storage is there any other way I can make room on my phone ? Were it shows how much storage I have available it still says 9.9 even after all that I have done so I don't know if I need to change my storage plan or what but anything will help I guess
Check for 'others' in iTunes against your iPhone.
Restore from a previous backup to reclaim some of it.

I have photos on my iPad that I want to delete. The problem is I don't have access to the computer used to sync them. It was my ex husbands computer and iTunes account. Is there any other way to delete them?

I have my iPhone 4s backed up on my mac but it seems it was encrypted with a password which i do not remember is there any other option to retrieve to the backup without restoring the device as a new one. Also I do not have access to a windows system.
Sorry no, if you don't knnow the encrypted password, then you can't use that backjup.

My ipad mini is frozen in an app and the home button is stuck. Pressing the wake/sleep button does not bring up the red slider to turn the ipad off. Is there any other way I can reset the ipad? Can I remove the battery? and then put it back in?

Is you debit card no longer accepted ? If not then do you have a different debit card that you could try, or are iTunes gift cards available in your country - they are not available in all countries, and they are country-specific (they can only be redeemed and used in their country of issue. If not then the only payment methods that you can use are those that show on the payment details screen on your account.
