So I just got OSX Mavericks... Do I need to uninstall Mountain Lion now to free up space?

My memory clean application is telling me my memory is low after installing Mavericks. I want to uninstall Mountain Lion if possible. How would I do that?

Memory is different from storage space. If you ran through the upgrade process then Mavericks was installed over Mountain Lion. Open Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor and select Memory. Something is using up your memory and this is a way to find out what application or process is the culprit.
