So I just updated to the newest update that was available for safari and iTunes but now it won't let me go on the Internet using safari and  it also won't let me sync my songs ,,,,,it takes forever to back up my iPad AND my iPod so what can I do ?

So I just updated to the newest update that was available for safari and iTunes but now it won't let me go on the Internet using safari and  it also won't let me sync my songs ,,,,,(it takes forever to backup my iPad AND my iPod) so what can I do ?

If you're on windows try the following:
This worked for me an hour ago and has allowed me to sync ok. Still haven't tried downloading the new version 5 to the phone yet as I'm still backing up photos etc just in case.
1. Quit itunes
2. Start an elevated command prompt (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> right click Command Prompt -> Run as Administrator)
3. Once in the command prompt type the following 3 words starting where your cursor is flashing: netsh winsock reset
4. press ENTER
5. Reboot your machine
6. Restart itunes & connect device to sync
7. Good luck
