The Apple warranty does not cover loss/theft but you are free to purchase a new one at full price
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

my MAc Book PRO 13" Retina display will not update. It crashes every time I try to do an update. I have sent in the information on each update but so far nothing back from Apple. Also it does not matter what I am trying to update, the operating system, and application, each caused the same crash. This mac book is less than a month old.
That is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.

The only notifications I receive from Apple that have worked are related to password changes. I have tried resetting my email and sending a new email out to change account information, but that has not worked. The email from Apple does not appear within hours so I suggest the process hadn't gone through.

Without access to iCloud and Find My...there isn't much you can do beyond retrace your steps and search the old fashioned way. If the Touch is turned off or dead it won't show up at all in iCloud.

When syncing iPod the PC lost power. once power restored synced iPod but the sleeve detail has been blanked. Also when syncing a 'miss-match' message is reported on iTunes. how do I get the sleeve detail back onto iPod?

Have you tried connecting it to your computer and restoring the iPod via iTunes?

ok, so i downloaded three albums (sic) and discovered the next day that on two of them there were songs which did not completely download. I quickly reported it and expected a reply within 24 hrs but Ive heard nothing back and now I cannot re-report it because it says Ive already reported it. Should I just wait? It's been three days. Everytime i hit icon it wont start and sends report but have heard nothing back
since yesterday when i click on firefox icon it will not start up, it displays crash reporter screen and says it will attempt to restart but when i hit restart it crashes again. when i hit quit firefox it sends report but ive heard nothing back. not sure if i need to download new copy or wait for response.
