So,...i paid $9.95 for the 2.0 software update(applications)& games...HELP!

i paid my money, .... i downloaded it onto my itunes library, .... i get a little blue icon (that is the application icon) .... but where are the games? ... i plugged in my i pod touch to my iMac to transfer the download, .... nothing on my ipod touch, ... not even the application icon...
...what gives?....

Do you have your iTunes set up to sync Applications? When you plug in your iPod, and click on it under Devices, the Applications tab is the last one on the right. You'll need to go in there and tell it that you want to sync your applications, or it won't.

From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Keyboard stops working for the finder after software update 10.5.7

It is working for any other application, but in the finder I cant use any shortcut, quick view, rename files etc...
I have tried rebooting and for a couple of minutes it was working fine, but then it stop working again.
I have also try repairing permissions with DiskUtility ands running scripts with Cocktail, but the problem remains the same.
Any ideas?

It's a bit of a longshot, but have you tried trashing ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Finder.plist?

I am getting this error message as well. I have just downloaded Lightroom recently. I try to click on Lightroom / preferences....and nothing happens. I tried to uninstall and it is greyed out so I can't do that either. Suggestions? Please help?

I got this message after importing about ten or so H.264 files that I encoded from Adobe media encoder. "adobe encore the software that's used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decoders for the file you are working with may help correct the problem."
The files we're shot with HD cameras. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3. I installed the update 3.0.1 with still the same error.
I also tried a brand new project and after about ten or so files being imported into a timeline, the system crash. I tried this twice....

       Here is the skinny. A window base PC. footage shot with HD sony HD cameras, Project imported to Premiere CS3. Once completed sent file to Adobe media encoder and render them as H.264 widescreen high Quality. Imported them to Adobe Encore CS3. After about ten files or so. I got the error message. Did all the basic trouble shoot like restarting the computer, got latest patch. Even build a new test project with the same problem.
    Something else I read in the forums, is the encore will transcoded the project to Mpeg 2 anyway, after looking at my project I realized those few files were indeed untranscoded. So it will be a double compression and I dont want that. So, my new question is, what is H.264 good for ?????????? I was research that Mpeg 2 is a faster render but H.264 is a slower render but better quality.....
   what do you think ????
