I listen to a NPR classical music station and every year they give away a pod or pad(64G) that has a fine collection of classical music already installed on it. If iTunes is the only way to put music on an iPad how are they able to do this and still give away an iPad that someone can "make their own"?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Unless you have a backup copy or can use the drive from the old computer in an external enclosure, no.

Thanks but have tried that - When I try to restore I get a -50 error and into a loop of taking another back up. I took a copy of the back up before the IOS upgrade and have it stored on my desk top but I cannot get Itunes to restore to that back up

Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
Then sync.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Thank you, but that is not it, and I am talking about the iCloud photo streams. I know how to modify who can see or post to a shared stream, that's extremely easy.
What is an issue is the new 'social' style activity that summarizes all of the shared streams. It now posts/summarizes them in an activity thread in 'streams', called "Activity"
I would like to shut that off or be able to clear that view. While I enjoy the occasionally funny pics I receive from old college friends in shared streams, I don't want that to show up in a 'cover photo' when I go to pull up pics in front of someone.

Yes, if you have iCloud set up on your phone and computer, then reminders will be synced through iCal.

You can sync the saves between devices by using the Apple sharing through iTunes to copy save games (and other items) on and off from a device.
- Connect your iPod/iPad/iPhone to your computer
- Open iTunes, then select the device in the panel at the left
- Select 'Apps' then at the bottom you should notice an area called 'File Sharing'
- Select 'FM 2012' or 'FM 2011' (depending on which game you have) from the apps listed and you'll see a handful of files in the panel on the rightAny ".dat" files are saved games and you'll have up to 5 of them. "hidden.dat" is the autosave file, while "fm_save1.dat" through to "fm_save4.dat" are manually saved files named according to their position in the save slots.

Is there a way to scroll between footnotes in the new pages version and to actually copy an old text with footnotes into the new version without losing them or having them in the text?

Since my update I am no longer able to scroll between the footnotes. I have to klick on each one to change something. That is unbearable since I have to write a lot of academic texts which usally have a ton of different footnotes. I also can not copy some of my old texts into the new version without losing the footnotes or having them in the middle of my text. Does anyone know a trick or if apple will change that for good? Your company probably need to setup some type of screening process where before you buy the Apple device, make sure the person turns off Activation Lock with Find My iPhone before you take ownership of the device.
Apple's FAQ article on Activation Lock KB HT5818 is stating they are not going to repair or service the phone if Activation Lock with Find My iPhone is not turned off. So I guess it's the owner's iPhone responsibility to turn it off before you sell, give it away, or want it repaired.

When changing apps to full screen, is there a way to make them appear to the left of pre-existing desktops/apps in mission control?

I'm not sure when this changed (it was a while ago, possibly with OS X Mountain Lion, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't always this way?) but full-screening apps used to add them to the left of everything else. Now, things are added to the right side of the thumbnail strip, which is extremely inconvenient for me.
