Gurus ,
i have gone through but still i could not solve the problem .
The default domain is set
code page is set
but i am not sure why is this problem still persisting . help me solve this

the problem is i am unable to send mails
this is the error message i get , when i traced the log in SCOT
Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2

Which service pack are using . In case you are using SP14 and above , note 913858 has to be implemented
After implementing note you have to do few settings
Execute scot->setting->default domain and add here default domain xyz.com

SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2 error

I am getting an error "SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2" whenever some mail failed. A brief description of case:
1. Sending 2 notification to same sender some times both processed successfully, sometimes one failed and one processed with same error.
2. Sending notification to one mail id sometimes its successful and sometimes its failed with same error.
Please let me know probable reason and solution for this error? Thanks in advance.

Execute scot->setting->defoult domain
And put here default domain xyz.com

General users can not send emails from SAP themselves except sap_all user

Dear experts ,
General users can not send emails from T-CODE: SO00 themselves except the users
which Assigned SAP_ALL Authorization Profiles .
We hit SAPconnect trace Error : SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2 .
No MIME Document Received. Error Code: UNKNOWN .
How to can i solve the problem ?

I had set default domain in SCOT ,and email address in su01 .
we can send email successful only SAP_ALL users .General users can not send emails from SAP themselves

I am not suer how to proceed to implement the correction speified in that note .
it would be of great help if any body can explain me in brief to implement atleast one correction in that note

"You have created e-mails from Audit Management. The system automatically attaches a link to the display of the audit object being sent. When you send an e-mail via SAPconnect, the following error occurs: XS 829 Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2."
Are you getting this symptom in your system? and you want to apply the correction??
After applying the correction, if the prerequisite mentioned in note 530932 is not met during sending mail.. then
simply the link will not be attached. but mail will be sent.
you have to apply the correction of the note using SNOTE or manually apply note by download/upload.

while sending mail using BCS objects .... i am geting error
Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2
....i too configured SCOT transaction wit port number 25 , mail host and also given the internet email id for mailing user....

This error occurs when you send a mail via the SMTP node and can have several causes:
1. Default domain not set
2. Default code page not set (only with multi-codepage systems)
3. Code page not suitable for sending mail
4. COMMIT WORK is missing (programming error)
5. Workplace plug-in is missing
Solution
Activate the SAPconnect trace and resend the document if necessary. The next time the SAPconnect send job is running, search for the entries marked in red in the SAPconnect trace of the document. The applicable solutions, depending on these entries, are listed below:

I am using the function module "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" to send an email attachment.
The program is getting executed successfully but when i see in SOST transaction, i am getting an error message.

Not receiving email when sending large number of records using a FM?

I am using the function module " SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 " to send email....
When a single record is there.. or around 5-6 records are there... email is coming successfully...
But when there are more records..say around 100, the email is not coming... I checked SOST transaction and the status there is in red..and the error message is " Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2 ".........
What could be the reason behind this problem....... ??
I have another problem... my output has over 60 fields, but in the email which i am receiving has only around 10 fields... how to solve this problem...??

Well... right now i am tryin to get only the first 2 fields.. but even in this case... i am not getting the email if around 15 records are there......
I am using the code which is given below which i found in SDN only......In this code.. data is getting selected from EKPO... i tried changing the number of rows getting selected.. and in this case, the attachement is coming as desired... but when i use the same code for my prog.. i am not getting the mail.. even if there are only 10 records or so...

Error in sending mails through Broadcasting wizard

I am trying to broadcast a report through broadcasting wizard via Email to ussers's personal mail IDs. But I am not able to successfully send the mail ..In Transaction SCOT I monitored and found that SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception 2 is coming . Could some one please tell me why this error is coming and whats the possible solution.

try setting up the default domain in transaction SCOT.
SCOT --> Settings --> Default Domain
i think this should solve the problem..

We have receviceved the follwoing error "Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2" in General the mentioned error with "Exception : 0" relates to gateway not Configured , but can some one help me to resolve this error.

I am working on 4.7 and release 6.4.
The configuration settings in SCOT transaction has been done and all the pre requisite settings have been di=one.
But when I am trying send a short message it is giving an error.
The error that I am getting is
