So slow when Delete a PeopleContainer, pls help!
I wanted to delete a Peopple Container, but it was so slow, and I find that:
1. The CPU of the ns-slapd process as high as 40%
2. There were a lot of "ABANDON" message in the access log, and the etime is very high:

I do not see the delete query in the logs pasted below. Although this Search query also has ABANDON message:

Sync so slow and deleted my applications. Help!
guys, i got iphone from my friend and he told me to put images and videos in it, so i downloaded the iTunes, the latest, and i connect iphone to pc, btw~ its iphone(original), then the sync of files begins, it took so long, i think 60-90 minutes, i dont know why it needs to be sync before putting files.. after the sync, it started deleting my applications, so the half way through i canceled it and checked the iphone, some apps were deleted.
i checked at other sites that those files which are deleted are in the temporary folder, which i have already checked, and those were 1k+ files.
my questions:
1. how do i export the files(applications, etc.) in the temporary folder to the iphone?
2. when i connect the iphone to pc, does it have to sync everytime i connect?
3. before i can put my photos and video files from pc to iphone, i need to finish the sync and the deletion of the apps?
4. also, i have the installer of the iphone application, how can i install it in iphone?Have a read in here for a few bits of handy help.

THe he phone is not connected, but I have Skype. And I did not use it.
MY ops is window7.
THe itunes software is ios8.2.

IPod screen goes black & heats up when connecting to computer - pls help!!
I posted this same question on somebody else's post but thought id post it under a different subject so someone may be able to help.
Im having a problem with my 30GB ipod in that it works fine when just listening with head phones, on my docking station or via my car stereo yet not on computer. When i connect ipod to any computer the ipod screen fades out, goes black & then the ipod becomes quite hot (more near the left hand side of control wheel) and both computer & i-tunes does not recognise it?? Does anybody have any ideas or have had the same problem and fixed it? I pod is nearly 2.5yrs old. thanksHave you tried a different USB port or a different USB docking cable? It is also possible that the part of the iPod that charges the battery is faulty, or perhaps the battery itself. If it's a 4th gen iPod, the battery is located under the click wheel, more to the left side than to the right. I don't have a 5th gen "video" iPod, but based on the guide here

Whatever the problem, it appears to be related to charging the battery. -
Error when starting NodeManager .. pls help
When attempting to start node manager i recieve the following error:

vbWindows 2000 is also technically NT 5.0 right? So in your case, upgrading from NT4.0 to NT5.0 solved the problem? Okay, i'll try that as a last alternative, but I'm still hoping that it can be solved by just doing some tinkering on the configuration. Anybody? :)

InDesign CS5.5 crashes when deleting empty pages. Help!
Hello all,
I'm having an issue with InDesign CS5.5 running on 10.7.5. I have two empty spreads that I need to delete but everytime I try to, it prompts:
"The affected pages contain objects. Delete the pages anyway?"
I click Okay and InDesign crashes all the time. There are no objects on the page, I've applied no master, unhid and unlocked everything and can't figure it out! Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks for the speedy reply! I exported my "corrupt" InDesign file to .IDML and re-openned it. I was able to delete the extra pages which had some .psd files on it that I couldn't see earlier.
My question is can I just re-save this .IDML file back as a .indd file? What changes happen in between .IDML and .INDD if any? Everything looks the same to me but I was wondering if anything changed. Thanks! -
I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure a way out of this fix! I installed the latest itunes 64bit software to enable a seamless operation with my ipad but it keeps refusing to recognise my ipad. I uninstalled it and downloaded a new version only for it to refuse to even install! what do i do now?!

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

Then you'll have to use another iOS device or Mac running OS X Lion or higher to create a new account for you to use on your phone. If you don't have one, perhaps a friend would allow you to create and account on their device (note: this will use one of their three maximum accounts). To do this, they would need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which will delete the account from their device but not from iCloud), then allow you to sign back in with your ID to create the new account. Then tap Delete Account to delete the new account from their device, and finally, sign back in with their iCloud ID to restore their iCloud account to their device. Then you can sign in with your ID on your phone in Settings>iCloud and use the new account.
