Well, App Store is system app. It might have been moved accidentally to a folder. You might be having an idea of Spotlight search when you swipe the home screen to the left most section, you can search "App Store" and you have the icon of the App Store.
You can try to reset home screen layout by going to settings - general - reset - reset home screen layout
Keep in mind, this will reset all the app folders you've created in the home screen.
If it still doesn't appear, you might have accidentally turned the switch ON to disable App Store in restrictions.
Can be accessed by going to settings - general - restrictions - (Enter passcode if asked) - Turn on the Installing Apps and Deleting Apps switches to ON

Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

The Youtube app was removed by Apple in iOS6. You can use either the iPhone app from Youtube (free in the app store, but you've got to set it at 2x), or go to www.youtube.com in a Safari web browser. Do you have Time Machine enabled. If so, go back through your previous months until it features in your Application folder. Then restore.

What i ended up doing was,t switch the power supply off to my modem , wait a minute, switch back on and reboot my macbook, lo and behold everthing is back to normal!!

How can I remove it? Tapping it won't work as it isn't on my home screen.

I don't know what I've done but the FaceTime icon has disappeared...haven't a clue why or how to get it back. I hadn't tried using FaceTime yet by the way, I am new to apple products (but learning fast) but I was looking forward to using it.
I have however used the iMessage function which leads me onto the second part of my question, which is, ........ Why can I only send messages to certain people in my contacts lists? ( I do realise they have to have apple products)
Any help... Especially for the face time query... Will be much appreciated.

My AppStore icon has disappeared from my iPhone 4S with iOS7

Hi everyone, my name is Johanna, i'm French so please, excuse my English.. :3
I downloaded the update iOS7 and it was very great on my iPhone 4S since... today.
This morning, I wanted to check up Facebook and the appli suddenly crashes. Same problem with my e-mails, my calculator and the AppStore.
(I also had a problem sometime with my messages : the keyboard disappeared and I just had the "€" or the " ' " symbol which was staying.)
So, I restarted my iPhone.
And then, when I came back to the principal menu, these app have been simply deleted... Even with the "spotlight" research.
I have been checking in the settings : they are not "hidden" or something... So I restored my "principal menu" (always nothing) and then, all my settings... and ALWAYS NOTHING.
Now, I want to restore my iPhone entirely but when I connected it to iTunes and start the operation, I've a message saying "Disk space is insufficient" (well, in French it means: l'espace disque est insuffisant.)
I am going to call Apple in the afternoon, but if someone can help my first... you would probably save my life.
A frenchie totaly desperate.
This is supposed to be my keyboard with the letters... hmhm.
And this is the "icon" of the apply before I restaure my iPhone.

You cannot delete it.
It is likely i a folder, or on another page.
If you do not find it, then you can reset the home screen layout.
This can be found in the manual.

When I try to download OSX mavericks in the App Store, it takes forever then the downloading icon just disappears after a loooong time just to get half way

When I try to download osx mavericks, it takes and xtremely long time...like over 2 hours just to get to the half way mark...then the downloading icon on my dock for it just disappears after it has been half way finished.

I recently purchased a second hand new macbook air, although it was second hand to me the previous owner had never actually turned it on.
Something doesn't make sense here, though I'm not saying the previous owner is lying....
