so this is what happened. my touch got a LITTTLE itty bit wet. and i guess...it went right into the charger thingie. because after it got wet it started to crackle. YES. i said crackle. kinda like a weird staticky-fire kinda noise. And it got really hot at the bottom 1/4 of the touch. while the rest stayed cool. I heard something about seeing red when you look down the headphone jack..so i did that, and yes i saw red.
my question is, is it fried? can i do anything about it?

Things NOT to do if your iPod gets wet:
1. Do NOT turn it on.
2. Do NOT try to charge it.
3. Do NOT try to wash it out.
4. Do NOT try to dry it with a hair dryer.
5. Do NOT touch it for 3-4 days or more.
6. Do NOT try to take apart the iPod or try to remove the battery as some sites recommend (it is not user serviceable).
After draining it as much as you can, find some silica packs or uncooked rice and place it in a plastic bag to dry out.

My iPad was stolen. It is password protected and I locked it. So far no one has tried to turn it on. I would like to erase the content but am afraid that the "Find it' software would be diabled too. Can someone tell me if this is what happens?
If content is erased, then the ipad will no longer have the Find My iPhone service turned on, hence can't be tracked. But the thief will not be able to view your data/apps. But thieves these days know about the service and can reset the device so that it is no longer tracked, although all data is erased anyway. They don't care about getting at your data, only about keeping the device to sell or use it as their own.

I got the 5th Generation 60gb Ipod and, like everyone else, I ask why it didn't come with an AC power charger? I'm on vacation and just got my ipod 3 weeks ago. So I had to charge it in a lended computer. When I plugged my ipod into the usb port, I didn't get no reaction from the PC (windows), so i got the ipod and it was extremely hot from the area next to the click wheel, after that I've plugged it into other computers and none would charge it. But was detected, until my battery went completely dead and no computer doesn't detects it anymore.

You're a bit right and a bit wrong there. It is true that creative don't have any big competition out there BUT they have competition in producers of motherboards. If there would be no onboard audio then we would really be forced to use SB6 or at max sb Li've! 5. because Creative would NOT improve cards much. Also there're companies like Hercules or Turtle Beach or (good old) Aureal that make cards that couse A LOT LESS problems then CREATIVE products. If you're saying that they could say "Screw clients we will make sb28 and they will buy it anyway!" then you're very wrong because there're many companies that have cards very similar in statistics to creative cards (look above). And creative don't have big competitor because they want MANY $$$ for their ADVENCED HD EAX AND CMSS.

About your logitech and creative comparison... well % of people have logitech web camera and 75% of people have creative cards so you can see it's a bit diferend (of course they should releas driver ASAP but...)

I bought a HD and the Itunes Stores say that the movie (Pretty Women) has Itunes Extras. Why I can not find it? It is a mistake from Apple? What happen if I buy the movie because the Extras and now I can not watch it? I have an Ipad last generation.
What version of iOS do you have on your iPad (Settings > General > About > Version), and is it connected to wifi ?

Changed my Apple ID and this is what happens....
I changed my apple ID last week, i figured if i change it then it would be the same on all my devices, boy was i wrong! ive nothing but trouble since i did... i changed it to my @me.com email address, which i now cant verify becasue i cant access my me.com email until i verify it!!
Ive spoken to 3 different apple support agents over the phone, which werent much help, though i was told its a problem they are getting quite a lot at the moment.
So anyway... nothing working still, contacts all gone, documents all gone, anything related to iCloud GONE!! atleast until i can verify my Apple ID.
I sent a suport message to iTunes as i was told they were the only ones who could access Apple ID information and this is what i got back

I have long since been a fan of IBM computers and thus, when the label changed, I trusted Lenovo with the same respect. I am a junior college student at West Virginia University and wanted only the best machine which was both powerful and reliable... the T61 seemed to be my answer. In advertisements I viewed the computer being plunged underwater (and then turned on, no less), smashed into walls at death-defying speeds, and dropped from hundreds of feet . In my case a small amount of sprite, LESS THAN 50CC!!
The laptop can survive a couple drops right? Being on a very small and tight student budget I tried to make the best of it and decided to be safe, left it alone for the day, and afterwords it worked perfectly for 5 months. One day the laptop was in sleep mode, I turned it off manually by holding the power button, it turned off. After this, it never turned back on!
I tried everything- (static discharge, removal of components, new ac adapter, dust removal, hardware exchange)- it just croaked!
Eventually, I sent the laptop in to be repaired (for what I was told would be FREE OF CHARGE) in your Texas repair facility only to be told that the laptop was NOT UNDER WARRANTY?! due to the water damage and that the laptop that I PAID $825 for was GOING TO COST ME OVER $900 TO FIX!
THERE WAS ONLY A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF LIQUID SPILLED ON THIS COMPUTER, I DO NOT BELIEVE IT WAS THE LIQUID THAT DESTROYED THE LAPTOP!
THERE HAVE BEEN KNOWN POWER SUPPLY ISSUES WITH THE MODEL T61, SO MUCH SO THAT IT COULD BE CALLED A DEFECT. THIS LAPTOP IS NOT WATER DAMAGED, IT IS DEFECTIVE!
THIS LAPTOP IS ALREADY OUTDATED by many standards on the market today AND IS NO LONGER EVEN SOLD OR ADVERTISED ON YOUR COMPANY WEBSITE!
Could it be TOO MUCH to ask for just a simple motherboard swap? I'm sure they've got to be sitting lifeless and stockpiled somewhere...
As advertised, this laptop DID NOT live up to it's name, I am completely dissatisfied, and now I'm out the $825 I paid for the machine.
If there are any powers-that-be remaining in this world today, please let them come over you! I NEED A LAPTOP FOR SCHOOL!

Perhaps this is what happens to email
I seldom check my email directly in Gmail, it's forwarded directly to my Entourage and I pick it up there. Out of curiosity this morning, I went to my Gmail account and looked in the spam messages. I found seven from Apple Discussions, sent in the last three weeks, that had been dumped in the spam folder. I assumed that I get all the emails I have subscribed to, so didn't notice there were some missing.
People who are getting spotty emails should check the junk folder on the ISP's site to see if they have been getting Apple mail, and it has been labeled Junk by mistake. I'm not sure how to correct this, I did label the ones I found "not junk" and I guess I'll just have to check the box every so often to see what I've missed.We get more complaints from our hosting customers regarding mail forwarding problems to the free e-mail services than any other single issue. My advice would be to not entrust important messages to Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.

About two days ago a drink that was about 1/4 full spilt in my purse. My IPod touch managed to get wet and the battery will not hold the charge anymore. I can let it charge all night then use it for about 30 minutes in the morning to check my Facebook and what not, but if I keep it on the hold button which I always do all day while I am at work, the battery is completely dead when I go to use it later on. Or it will die after about an 1 or so of use after being taken off the charger. Another thing is that when I am up in my room about around 150 feet or so maybe even less, away from my families internet router, I cannot connect to the internet. And if I get it it goes away in about 5 minutes of use. The only way I can use the internet on it is if I sit at the top of my stairs or stay downstairs. Never had this problem before. The camera on the front of my IPod above the screen also has some water in it. Half of the camera on that side comes out blurry.
Any suggestions?
