Still awaiting my shipment.
Im particularly interested what all is included in the Production Premium box, i.e. how many dvds, third party plugins etc...

Got mine yesterday (CS3 Production Premium). Here's what I got:

Installed the base pkg last night (all software except OnLocation and Ultra) on Vista Ultimate. Everything seems to work OK so far (knock on wood).

You do not need the CD ever, all it contains is an older version of the ovi suite software. Just download it from the link above if you want that software.
The download contains all the required drivers so again the CD is not needed.

Canon 100m f/2.8 L IS USM Macro Lens - What's in the Box for real?

I want to purchase the Canon 100m f/2.8 L IS USM Macro Lens, and the website says the only thing in the box is the lens itself and a manual.
I realize that at the very least the Lens Cap and Cover MUST be included, but then I called customer service to confrim the rest, and they said the contrary, "only the manual and lens, with no cap or cover".
Obviously that was an non-conscientious rep who didn't care if the answer was accurate or not, so I need some help from those of you who are owners... or at least a BestBuy rep who is conscientious.
Canon confirms that what is supposed to be in the box with this "L" series lens
Lens + Lens Cap + Lens Cover + LENS HOOD + LENS POUCH (the capitalized items are included because its an "L" Series lens.
Can someone confirm What's in the Box for real? Does it have these items or not?

I definitely apologize for the inaccurate information given to you from the customer service representative you spoke to. This lens is sent to us directly from Canon, and should have everything inside their packaging that they told you would be in the box. I have no direct knowledge of what comes packaged with this lens (although I wish I did, and this is actually one of the lenses that I intend on purchasing in the near future). If Canon told you that there would be the lens, the lens cap, the lens cover, a lens hood, and a lens pouch inside the packaging then that is what should be inside the box if you purchase this lens from us. The iPhone is not sold officially by Apple in Irag so no telling which country this iPhone was intended for by Apple when new.
The iPhone's warranty is not a worldwide warranty, and if this iPhone was sold as carrier locked when new and was hacked/jailbroken to be unlocked, the warranty is void if this is discovered/determined by Apple.
You can make an appointment at an Apple Store in France to determine which country this iPhone was intended for by Apple when new.

What's with the boxes? Checking all these boxes is a pain.

I upgraded to 6.02.23. All of the song names suddenly have little boxes to the left of them. To listen to a playlist I have to go through and check the box on every song in the playlist.
It might be nice sometimes to be able to select a subset of songs within a playlist but 90% of the time we just want to listen to all the songs in the playlist. That's what a playlist is all about. If we're going to have these boxes can we have a button that sets them all?

Stupid question about "What's in the box?"

Ok, i just got my new iPod Touch 32GB. I'm really confused about one of the items that came in the box.
This one thing that looks like an insert for the dock - the shape of it is too wide for the skinny little iTouch - and it's only a dock insert, it's not the dock itself.
So i'm confused - how do i make use of this? I tried clipping it on my iPhone dock, & my 4th. Generation iPod dock, as well as my iHome alarm clock dock - and it doesn't fit anywhere.
It does not lay flat, it doesn't fit anything, and i am really confused. Does anybody know what i am to do with this? Thank you.

It's a dock adapter for docks that use the Apple system, such as Apple's own. You'd put it in the dock so your iPod would fit properly. iHome uses it's own adapater system. Honestly, I hardly ever find a use for them as I don't use docks much. I think I have a box of them somewhere from all the iPods I've purchased...

Some sites say my cookies ore not on. they are. also, the security checks, ie. the ones where you type what is in the box, dont work.

some sites say cookies is not on, it is. I have turned it off, then back on with the same results. Also, when asked to type 'whats in the box', for security, it will not accept.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. As for your problem, make sure Javascript is enabled: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/JavaScript#Enabling_and_disabling_JavaScript
But you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

What's in the box?

Looking at upgrading from CS3.3 Master Collection to CS4 I can choose between download or ordering box to be mailed. Does the box contain any documentation in addition to the DVDs?

I'm curious about the registration extras, and are they the same for each variation (design vs. web vs. master vs. production etc.) or different?
For instance, with CS3 Design Premium, you had your choice of Hypatia (I think) typeface, or several hours of free training (already in the box, but you needed an unlock code), or a one time 20% discount on stock photography.
I've generally gone for the typefaces, so I'm curious what they might be this time around.

In the Apple store on apple.com, for an iPod 60GB, it says that earbuds, usb cable, dock adapter, a quickstart guide, itunes software, and a case come in the box. However, on circuitcity.com and bestbuy.com, it says that only the earbuds, usb cable, and quick start guide come in the box. What's going on?

Sometimes they like to leave details out. Don't know why. If you want to know what is actually in the box just use the information the apple store gave you. It is accurate.
BestBuy and CircuitCity can't take things out of the iPod box as it comes shrink-wrapped from Apple.

What comes in the box with the Airport Express?

I'm looking to buy and Airport Express for my husband but I really can't find a helpful sales person willing to put up with all of my questions. For starters, what comes with the Airport Express? One salesperson told be that I need to buy cables and another one never mentioned it. Does it come with cables or just the unit? I'm assuming it comes with the software? Can you help me?

I have an equally simple question. I have a G5 desktop and a G4 TiBook. Last week I installed an airport card in the TiBook as I use it mainly at meetings and when travelling.
My non-wireless adsl at home runs through a router which has two ethernet ports. Do I just buy the Airport Express unit, plug it into the spare ethernet port, and my TiBook will find the broadband connection wirelessly from anywhere in the house? Is it all as simple as that? Is the single Airport Express unit all I need to create a wireless connection?

I looked around a little and could not find box sizes. Your best option may be to go to your locale BB with a tape measure.
Sometimes the boxes are huge
When I got my 50" deliverd my wife called me all freaked out by how big the box was when the delivery guys left. The box was 12 to 14 inches thick and at least 4 inches on top an bottom and sides of the TV. I see a lot of boxes on the floor at BB and they seem to have reduced the sizes of the boxes.
Suffice it to say that you would probably need a mini van with the seats taken out or full size truck box without a topper to get it home.
