So When Does The App Store Open?
Did I miss something? I don't see a date for the opening of the app store?
They said early July. They said that before showing the "iPhone 3G" so I think they were not trying to say a date until they announced the iPhone 3G for July 11th. So I would say firmware 2.0 will come out about the same time. My Guess.

Why does the App Store open randomly when I'm using Safari?
It simply opens the apps store to some game unprompted. It does it without me touching links. It happens without touching anything.
And yes I have hard reset it and deleted cookies etc. I am not a fool.
I have seen this question come up a lot and Apple have failed to acknowledge it. It's certainly common enough to be a known problem, so why are they ignoring it?This is happening because of bad ads on a site that you are visiting. These ads are designed to randomly redirect mobile device users to other sites or the App Store if the link is to an App. It has nothing to do with your iPad. The random nature of the re-directs is intended to confuse the user and keep this garbage below the radar.
Turning OFF Javascript bypasses this problem because the mechanism implementing the redirects uses Javascript. This is not really a solution, however, because turning Off Javascript affects all sites and will certainly cause problems.
Complain to the web site to get these ads removed. They may be unaware of the problem.

10.6.6 and 10.6.7 contained buggy beta releases of the Mac App Store. The official Mac App Store was release to the public in 10.6.8.

When Does the app store charge your card?
So I recently brought two new apps. These two new apps that I brought, were my first apps the I actually paid for. Once I put in my card information, I ordered the app and everything was successful. So, then I called my card to check my balance and it was the same. Not even one penny taken away! I don't know if I should be happy or worried. Does this always happen? PLEASE HELP!
You will usually get an email directly from Apple regarding your past purchases (such as apps, music, books, etc.) They like to "batch-charge" your purchases.

when i 'upgraded' to Mavericks, it locked me out and shut down my computer. now it won't print from my Epson Stylus CX3810. Epson doesn't have the driver to download and neither does the App store. Suggestions?
I'm having similar problems with my Epson Stylus DX5000. There was no in-built driver available (the generic old and new Stylus drivers didn't work), so downloaded the latest driver from Epson site. It shows as being available to print to, but just sends data to the print queue then job disappears.
I hope you're right C F McBlob, I could do with printing today but if there are new drivers available from November 5, then so be it. -

Why does the App store say 'download' to OSX Mavericks when i have already downloaded the update, and restarted the computer?
I can't find Mavericks icon on the dashboard or launchpad either! Help!It sounds like you've installed Mavericks. You can confirm this by clicking on the Apple located at the top left of the screen and choosing "About This Mac" from the menu. You should see a window appear with the text "Version 10.9.1" near the middle.
If it says "Version 10.9.1", then you've installed Mavericks. It still says "Download" in the App Store because you can still download the operating system after installing it. This is useful if you want to download it for a friend, or create a USB boot drive.

Why does the App Store update 10.6.8 apps to 10.7.4?
I recently had Pages and iPhoto updates listed on the App Store for my computer running 10.6.8. After updating both programs and launching them I received the message "You cant't use this version of the application Pages/iPhoto with this version of Mac OS X. You have Mac OS X 10.6.8. The application requires Mac OS X 10.7.4 or later.
I have a dual boot Mac Pro 2008 with Mountain Lion 10.8 on an ssd and Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my hard drive with all my data.
Does the App Store even check to see if the OS you are running is supported?

I think that you have confused the MAS with a dual boot system, so you may want to keep that in mind with future updates on your Snow Leo boot volume. The MAS can see apps on all partitions and connected drives. But as you can see from my screenshot, when it is a solo boot of Snow Leo, the MAS is not so easily fooled. -
Why does the App Store always crash
Why does the app store always crash when I go to use the app genius on my ipod touch, it does it everytime. It even does it ocasionaly when I search for apps. Whats going on Apple. Please look into this or tell me how to turn genius off if thats what is causing the crashes, I can't find how to turn it off in the settings.
The most usual explanation would be that you need to update or you have to many things taking up your memory

When using the app store i get kicked back to the home screen?
I will be browsing through the app store on my iPad and all of a sudden the screen goes black for second and then I'm back at the iPad home screen? It happens pretty frequently and only seems to happen when using the app store. I don't understand why I keep gettig kicked back to home screen and any solution would be appreciated.
Im sorry I will try to be more clear.. and I appreciate all of ur input. Wi-fi works fine.. everything opens and functions fine on the I pad. The problem is I will click on app store or the I tunes store...it opens fine and I am able to look at and download apps etc... but after being in the appstore or I tunes store for a couple of minutes I get kicked out to the I pads home screen. Its like pushing the home button but I didn't. It only seems to do this when im in the app store or I tunes store. I have been using the chrome browser and other downloaded apps such as ebay just fine with out this problem occurring. Not sure about safari as I dont use it and use chrome instead. Um I don't think the home button its self is faulty because it works fine and as stated before this only happens when I am in the appstore or I tunes . I've only had this I pad 1 64gb wi-fi for a few days .. I got it off of ebay it was stuck in restore mode getting error code 1611. I was able to successfully Restore it with I tunes and it running ios 5.1. Seams to work great besides the problem being mentioned.

Is anybody else having this problem? I google a page and as the page opens the App Store opens and the William hill app is always showing !!! I don't want it lol :p
Try rephrasing the question: "I have an I pad mini and I pressed an app on my App Store and it froze and every time I go on it it is still on the app". It doesn't make much sense. Perhaps post in your native language.

No, the app store will be out when the iPhone Firmware 2.0 is released. The 2nd gen phone is to be released "some time in 2008" not necessarily when the 2.0 update is released. However, Apple has been letting stock of the 1st gen iPhone draw down so you can make your own conclusions.
