If you buy the 5770 from Apple as an upgrade kit it has the cable(s) - two for the 5870, one for 5770.
If you bought a mac pro mid-2010 it may very well have come with cable(s), that I have never read or heard from others.
OWC has not always inicluded cables but has charged extra, as they did with eVGA GTX285 where Apple sold with cables, and buying from OWC added another $30? or more to the cost with cables "extra" is what I recall. -
I can't get 3rd party plug-ins to work
I downloade the delirium plug-ins from digidesign (the demo) and when I go to motion to open up the 3rd party plug-ins...nothing is there..I went to preferences and changed it in there...but still no luck...I even renamed the folder "3rd party plug-ins" and went back to preferences and did what the manual said...still no-luck....I was under he impression (from a earlier post), that these plug-ins work with motion as well as after-effects

I have Delerium loaded, with no problems. I just keep a folder called "AE Plugs" where I store all my installed plug-ins, and I set the preference in Motion to look at that folder. They show up in the "3rd Party Filters" category in the Library. -

The only place that I know that you might could score a specific logic board is www.ifixit.com. They may be able to ship to your hotel.

It's asking you for my apple id password. not going to give that out, sorry.
However I did try this projector on my mother in laws iphone 4 and on my old iphone 3. ipico software isn't needed. plug and play any video through standard movie player or camera saved video.
I tried on my girls iphone 5 with the adapter. The ipico software and projector doesn't work on this phone.
Hope this helped you. Better to buy a used iphone 3 or 4 and use it for video storage.
I also found that the battery on these projectors are a joke (30-60mins max). I rigged a longer lasting battery on the outside and keep it plugged in while using. This doesn't charge the phone though so I replaced the battery in the old iphone 3 and now get at least a full length movie from it. Great in bed projected onto the ceiling.

blackyam...thank you for the ipico software. When I try to authorize my computer for it it says that I need to fill in the password for *******@yahoo.com. I can't seem to get it to work with my email and password. Do you know anything about this or do you know *******@yahoo.com's password?thx, Chris

Where can I get the driver for my HP DE8A4L external USB CD/DVD drive?

I've had my Mini 110-1000 running our music system for a couple of years, no complaints. When I wanted a CD/DVD drive, I purchased a DE8A4L external USB drive directly from HP. It didn't come with a driver disc. When I plug it in, the USB subsystem does not enable it. Device Manager shows a yellow exclamation point, saying, "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware..." It is running Windows XP Home Edition SP3.
What gives with this device?Following up on tactic 2) above, I upgraded the BIOS from version F07 to the latest version available on the HP download site, version F19. This went well, but unfortunately the system still does not recognize the device.
When I try to Device Manager, and select the DE8A4L DVD device, and try "search for a device driver", it says it cannot find a better match for the driver already installed.
This Mini 110-1000 only came with 1 Gb RAM, and Windows XP Home. Is one of these a critical limitation for running an external USB DVD drive? -

I found DV Warehouse has a number of G5 logic boards but none had the exact model number:

They have a toll-free number. You could ask if another board # would be compatible.
Another option is to contact recylers or schools shucking off older gear. Using the enigma of " A used computer is worth more parted out," you might be able to pick up another G5 cheaper than its LB. Unless the LB had the dreaded "leaky capacitor" failure, most computers don't get discarded for a bad LB. -

I am a worship leader and would like to use Mainstage to run loops and backing tracks during a live setting. My MacBook is a 2006 A1811 with a core 2 duo processor, running 10.6.8 . It can not download Mainstage 3, where can I get an older version? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Older versions of MainStage are no longer available for sale. The _only_ way might be buying a used Logic Studio 2 box which contains MainStage 2.1.3. Quite a pricy endevour for an almost 3 year old application.
