So where's DW 8.0.3 already?

Question

Is anyone home at Macromedia? Are the lights even on?
The most recent posting to the Dreamweaver
"Emerging Issues" page
was on June 26, 2006 -- almost two months ago. Nary an official
word since.
This forum is abuzz with several serious, real problems with
Dreamweaver 8.0.2, including the
PHP/MySQL
CONCAT bug, the
Active
Content include script bug, and others. There's word scattered
throught the forum from Dreamweaver power users about
not-ready-for-release hotfixes for these problems, but there's no
official word here or anywhere on the Adobe support site about
these hotfixes (or even about some of the problems), and Adobe
Support won't release the hotfixes to regular users, even if we ask
nicely for them.
The Dreamweaver 8.0.2 update was rushed to release -- as it
should have been -- to address MySQL injections and the Active
Content changes in Internet Explorer. That was the right thing to
do. Unfortunately, 8.0.2 broke a few things that need to be fixed
already. These fixes should be rushed as well.
Two months is a long time in the life of a product version
that might be around for a year or two. While I think Adobe is an
excellent company with outstanding products, I'm beginning to lose
patience while waiting for these serious problems with Dreamweaver
8.0.2 to be solved -- or at least publicly acknowledged. Why should
I have to dig through the thousands of postings on this forum just
to confirm that the misbehavior I'm seeing in Dreamweaver isn't
because of something I'm doing wrong?
Are the development team too busy working on Dreamweaver 9 to
work on Dreamweaver 8.0.3???
