So why should I NOT get a cheap off-brand iPhone 5S charger?
I can get them for super cheap off ebay and amazon. Why shouldn't I? Are there any reasons not to?
If I understand the mechanics correctly (and there is no guarantee of that ), dmaging the battery is unlikley. However, I personally wouldn't count on it. And my own expereince with third party cable with more recent iOs devices has led me to stear clear of them, for reliability issues as much as anything else.
There is also the risk that a third party kit will simply not work with the 5s, unless it is from a manufacturter that has had Apple sign off on the design.
Presumably anything by a manufacturer represented here would work if the manufacture states as such. But beyond that, IMHO, the risk is not worth the few dollars you would save.

Apps that run on the iPhone and iPad are iOS based. Apps that run on your Mac are designed for the Mac OS X. Two different operating systems.
In other words, apps that run on your iPhone and iPad cannot run on your Mac and vice versa. -

I had a promotional offer for a free Iphone 5C and when I ordered it , they ended up debiting my bank account. I called twice and was told they would put it back, After 10 days , I called a 3rd time and was told I would either have to take a credit to my account or wait 4 weeks to get my money back on my credit card. It only takes a minute to take it so, why should it take 4 weeks to get it back? And why was I lied to twice when the agent said it would be taken care of immediately?????
It seems like it can be taken care of immediately by a bill credit. A bill credit does not put the money back on your credit card but takes it off your bill. To me it's the same. So if you have a $100 credit on your bill you have $100 that you pay back to your credit card rather than to Verizon. If you want anything else the request must be submitted through the fiancé department and has to then be researched and approved before being paid. I would say take the bill credit. You're still getting your money back.

16 gig iPhone 4S, running iOS 7. I can't delete these stupid songs from the phone and no matter how many times I re-sync they don't go away!!
These are probably songs that you have either deleted in iTunes, or deleted from the phone that were synced to the phone at one time. This is how it determines to put the cloud symbol beside them. iTunes Match is that way as well. Of course, if you would have mentioned the cloud earlier, it would have ended earlier too. Glad you got it sorted.

I am on BT infinity. I have the fibre modem and homehub 3. I currently get 10mb download. I live quite some distance from the exchange os underatand why im not getting these super fast speeds... However when i do a speedtest it flies up to 10.8mb and then stays there as if its it a wall! When i check what BT can offer me on the "check my speed" broadband page its says i should get 15.4 download and 3.6 up, but what im actually getting is 10.82 down and 1.65up. Is my connection being throttled as it just seems to stick at 10.8.
Why am i not getting the 15.4 advertised and what im paying for?

I feel im prerty good with PCs and home networks, i've checked my speed using a wired connecttion and its the same before anyone asks me to check.I think BT will cut you of Infinity at the rate your getting maty. Anything below 15000kbps is a problem. You need to get it checked out. Your predicted speeds by BT checker cannot always be accurate it just depends what the engineer gets on the install, he must of got somewhere at the time around 15000kbps else he would of cancelled the installation.

I received a message that my iphone 4S was unlocked and that I should connect to iTunes to complete the process. When I connect to itunes I do not get the message "Congratulations you iphone has been unlocked". I have the latest itunes. Welcome help.

Insertion of APDivs/Layers are deprecated in CC. Historically, APDivs caused many, many problems for people who didn't understand they were not intended to be used as a primary layout tool. Look at FluidGrid Layouts.
