Hi All,
I am already having SOA SUITE 10g on my machine in C: drive.
i.e Oracle Database:10.2,Jdev:10.1.3.4 and SOA Suite 10.1.3.3
I also want to install 11g in my machine say in E: Drive .Could anybody please tell me if I can install oracle DB 11g,soa suite 11g and jdev 11 in another drive ie E: without affecting my 10g environment?
Also please suggest the best version I can choose for 11g installation and the installation guidelines link.

The Quick Install Guide mentioned in this post will help you

  • SOA Suite 11g installation - B2B issue

    Hi guys,
I just installed windows SOA Suite 11g on my machine. When I access the B2B and try to create a new version, I get the following error:
MDS-00522: failure to save document /soa/b2b/doc_EDI_X12.xml to the metadata repository
ORA-01573: shutting down instance, no further change allowed
ORA-01573: shutting down instance, no further change allowed
I am pretty sure that I need to change the configuration somewhere so that it does not save the file on some linux directory, but saves on my C drive somewhere. But I could not find the configuration location. I would really appreciate your help in this regard. Thanks

Seems like it is a SOA Suite installation issue. I am closing this post.

  • How to use JKS-based Keystore in Oracle SOA 11g

I am trying to do FTPS on third party remote server(with UNIX OS) using SOA 11g FTP Adapter. I have Installed and Configured vsftpd and generated vsftpd.pem certificate file on remote server.
Followed the steps mentioned in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_file.htm#CIABDGCF
In one of the step "Setting Up the Oracle FTP Adapter" walletLocation is required, then I went through steps mentioned in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/core.1111/e10105/wallets.htm#CHDGIJDC
Tried to use both 1) JKS Keystore Management 2) Wallet Management
But unable to find both of them in em of Oracle SOA 11g as the steps are not matching.
Can anyone tell me how to use JKS Keystore Management or Wallet Management ?
    Many Thanks!!
    Regards
    Yogesh

    Hi Yogesh,
I believe the wallet can be created from the FMW console only if the HTTP server is installed and available. If there is no Oracle HTTP server, please configure one as given under.

Thank you for the reply Anuj,
Now I am able to start the Managed weblogic server .
It is working well when i tried to do it through command window. But the issues is the node manager is not up.
I tried to run the fallowing commands
    *1. Run setNMProps.cmd from $ORACLE_HOME/common/bin folder*
*2. Start the node manager from $WL_HOME/server/bin/startNodeManager.cmd*
When 1 is ran i have encountered the fallowing
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\common\bin>setNMProps.cmd
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\common\bin>ECHO OFF
Required properties already set. File nodemanager.properties not modified.

  • Get Realm form Jdeveloper using Soa 11g PS3

    Hi
    I've a problem with jdeveloper authentication with a Oracle SOA 11g PS3.
I've successfully installed the DemoSeed Community into the server, i've checked into "secutiry realm->myrealm->users and groups" and i found all the seed users.
During the developing of a simple BPM composite with a Human Task, i try to edit the Roles tab into the Organization function and ad a new role "Productor" but when i've tried to associate Members to this new role jdeveloper does not show any realm or any user form the "Identity Lookup" pop-up window.
I've checked the server log and found an exception referenced to this case, the exception was:

    <Feb 22, 2011 11:55:07 AM CET> <Error> <oracle.webservices.service>

I've configured 2 different application server connection, one to the admin server and one to the managed server, but both of them gave me that error.
During my searches for an answer i've found a Oracle Documentation PDF which reports a SOAP endpoint for this IdentityService (the url of the soap endpoint is http://hostname:port/integration/services/IdentityService/configuration?WSDL ) but when i invoked it using the IdentityConfigServicePort and the operation "getConfiguration" i got this error:
    <env:Fault xmlns:owspe="http://schemas.oracle.com/ws/policy-enforcement-2007-06">

    <faultactor/>
    </env:Fault>
I've searched this policy all over the web but i wasn't able to find any clue to solve my problem
    Thanks in advice

    Hi Stefano,
Is this an upgraded instance of PS3?
I'd check the installation steps again. See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e16793/patch_set_installer.htm
    Specifically:
3.8.5.3 Run soa-upgrade.py to Update the Policy Store and Deploy a Shared Library
3.8.9 Adding New OWSM Pre-Defined Policies

  • SOA 11g - XML_DOCUMENT lob segment unable to purge

    Hi All,
    I have SOA 11.1.1.6.0 on Linux x86-64 platform(Oracle Database 11.2.0.3)
I'm using the Purge script/Procedure as advised in Note “Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) SOA 11g Infrastructure Database: Installation, Maintenance and Administration Guide [ID 1384379.1]”
But this is not purging XML_DOCUMENT LOB segment which has grown too big. This is causing space issues.
Can somebody advise if they have faced the same issue?
    Thanks,
    Prashanth

  • Jdeveloper compatability with SOA 11g

    Hi
Is it manadatory to use Jdeveloper 11g for our development when using SOA 11g?
The problem is that I tried to install Jdeveloper 11g, then it is coming by default with Jdeveloper Studio, ADF, weblogic server.
If I go for custom installation and I select only Jdeveloper Studio, it is automatically selecting weblogic serve also. I don't want to install weblogic server again.
    Could anybody tell me?
    Thanks
    Praveena

    Thanks Anuj.
This document is useful. I installed Jdeveloper without Weblogic installation. I have to sellect existing Middleware Home for installing this. Then it is not prompting for installing weblogic.

  • Steps to follow for Installing Oracle SOA 11g in 64 bit Windows 7 machine

    Hi,
I have successfully installed Oracle SOA 11g components in Windows 32 bit machine by following the downloading the installers for Windows 32 bit and following the steps mentioned in the Quick Start Guide for SOA Suite and BPM Suite.
Now I am trying to install Oracle SOA components in Windows 7 64 bit machine. Are the installation steps I followed for 32 bit is applicable for 64 bit too?Or are there any difference?
In the download section of installers,I could see one for 32 bit, linux and generic. Can you guide me which one I need to download for 64 bit machine?
    Thanks in advance.

I followed for 32 bit is applicable for 64 bit too?Or are there any difference?Steps followed for 32 bit installation would be same as for 64 bit. The only difference would be 64 bit JDK as it's required for win 7 to run the installation binaries of SOA Suite.
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-se-jdk-7-download-432154.html
I could see one for 32 bit, linux and generic. Can you guide me which one I need to download for 64 bit machine? You can use even 32 bit installer for 64 bit machine ( it works like charm for DEV like environment)...
but as per Oracle doc they prefer to use generic installer.

    Hi Shruti,
For the successful installation of AIA 11g u need to apply the DSTv13 patch 9146268 on database to avoid the 'Time zone not found' issue while installing AIA 11g.

  • How to handle logging in SOA 11g

    Hi All,
I have a SOA Suite 11g R3 installation running on WLS in Windows. Can someone help me in refering on how can we set log levels in SOA11g. In 10g, we had to set this at the BPELConsole and for certain others using EM, but im not able to locate a corresponding knob in 11g to control logging. Sometimes the server starts logging and everything is sent to the command window that i start the soa_server in and chockes the environment.
Kindly let me know the corresponding equivalent of handling logging in SOA 11g as what we did in SOA10g using BPELConsole.
    Many thanks,

In the em, go to SOA --> SOA-Infra
Right click on SOA-Infra and go to Logs --> Log Configuration
In Log levels tab, expand oracle.soa --> oracle.soa.bpel
Now you may set the desired log level here.
