SOA Composite Editor Missing in 11.1.2 Or Not Yet Released?

Hi,
I downloaded the JDeveloper Studio 11.1.2 and there is no SOA composite editor (I saw the note in the page after the setup). The SOA is not included or not included yet?
If it is not included some people know why?
Thanks
Fabio D'Alfonso

  • Download link Oracle SOA Composite Editor doesn't work

    The following link http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/jdeveloper/11.1.1.3.0/extensions/soa-jdev-extension.zip returns 404 page not found. The update center in Jdeveloper lists the Oracle SOA Composite Editor 11.1.1.3.0.25.27. The download however fails with 404 as well
    Are there any alternative download locations?
    With kind regards,

    It seems something is wrong at the side of Oracle. Yesterday i already had a lot of redirects from urls, so couldn't access resources.
    But i can't find some other location to download the extension
    it's working again :)

  • Can't update JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 with the SOA Composite Editor

    Greetings,
    I've installed the Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 and want now to update it with the SOA Composite Editor. After having gone to Help->Check for updates, selected "Search update centers" and checked "Oracle Fusion Middleware Products" and "Official Oracle Extensions and Updates", I don't have in the proposed list of products anything concerning the SOA Composite Editor.
    My topology is such that I have installed Oracle Fusion Middleware on a server and, given that three WebLogic servers are required for run it, the AdminServer, the soa_server1 and the bam_server1, I cannot run on the same machine JDeveloper, so I installed it on a different one. Does this have anythin,g to do with the fact that I can't update the JDeveloper installation with the SOA Composite Editor ?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Nicolas

    Can you please go to Help --> About in your Jdeveloper install, and provide the full version number that is listed there.
    That will help us understand why the SOA extension may not be visible to you.
    Thanks,

  • Add SOA Composite Editor to jDeveloper on Linux

    Hi guys,
    I downloaded jDeveloper, once the Oracle JDeveloper 11g (11.1.2.0.0) (Build 6017)Installations and once the Generic Release Java Edition: 11.1.2.0.0 and wanted to add the SOA Composite Editor to it.
    Usually it should be possible to add it via the Help/Check for Updates Interface, shouldn't it?
    I made two screenshot so that you can see that the SOA extension does not show up.
    http://imageupload.org/?d=821720741
    http://imageupload.org/?d=7B1AAED61
    Any ideas?

    Usually it should be possible to add it via the Help/Check for Updates Interface, shouldn't it?Not on release 11.1.2
    As per the release notes, it's not available for this release - use 11.1.1.5 if you need SOA

  • Access EBS WebServices by SOA Composite Editor

    Hey all,
    I want to access EBS Adapter WebServices using another APPS database user [eg: APPSSOA].
    I have granted db objects from APPS schema to APPSSOA user, but when I used APPSSOA to browse from Application Module Browser, there are empty with no one object that can be used.
    What the other step must I do?
    Regards
    Tejono

    it is jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.5.0, i guess if its not the correct version SOA editor would not appear in the update list when I do check for updates.
    Do i need to do anything like install other software? I have been at it for days but I can seem to make any progress.

  • 11g SOA Composite Rules Error - Rule session pool object does not exist

    Hi all,
    I'm hoping someone has experienced this and found a way through it. We're looking at exposing Oracle Rules DecisionFunctions via the automagically created web services in JDeveloper. We've tried several Rules examples, including the OrderApproval one available online, and are getting errors everytime we try and test the web service.
    Firstly we get this error:

    Hi SR,
    Thanks for your response. I attempted what you've suggested (1=1 - asset new fact in output), however nothing has changed.
    This is occurring across several Composite Rules projects, including the Oracle provided Chapter 5 Order Approval example. Unless someone can suggest a solution to this issues, it looks like we're going to have to shelf our plans to utilize the Business Rules component via the composite service.
    Very frustrating couple of days, that's for sure! :{

  • Launching flow trace for SOA composite leads to login page

    Hi,
    I am using windows vista, oracleXEuniv, oracle fusion middleware 11g 11.1.1.3.0, SOA 11g PS2+PS3, jdev 11.1.1.3.0+SCA composite editor 11.1.1.3.0.25.57
    Now after logging into enterprise manager fusion middleware control when I browse to my soa composite by clicking
    SOA->soa-infra(soa_server1)->default->validationForCC[1.0]
    This list me all the recent composite instances. Now if I click on any of the instance ids a new pop up window is open which displays enterprise manager login screen.
    In addition if i click on 'Launch Message Flow Trace' on Test composite page then also it happens the same way.

    Hi,
    I followed the information given in the thread. I downloaded the version 11.1.1.0.0.52.19 and tried to install it. But JDeveloper gave an error saying
    This update cannot be installed. It requires other extensions which are not installed, or which are installed but incompatible.

  • Jdevelopper and editing EJB in soa composites

    Hello,
    I'm using Jdevelopper (with the bellow configuration) in order to edit SOA composite but it is introducting a bug into the "composite.xml" file when I edit an "EJB exposed service"
    Previously the working service tags were :
    <service name="MyService" ui:wsdlLocation="MyRef.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="/my/package/service/#wsdl.interface(My)"/>
    <binding.ejb jarLocation="myjar.jar" javaInterface="my.package.service.MyFacade" serviceId="MyService"/>
    </service>
    but once i edit it with the graphical interface it becomes and no more work once deployed
    <service name="MyService" ui:wsdlLocation="MyRef.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="/my/package/service/#wsdl.interface(My)"/>
    <binding.ejb jarLocation="myjar.jar" ejb-version="EJB3" name="my.package.service.MyFacade"/>
    </service>
    As we can see, there is no more a *"serviceId"* tag in node *<binding.ejb>* and it has rename *"javaInterface"* attribute to *"name"*.
    From my point of view, these are two bugs from JDevelopper as composite was working before and no more after modification.
    Can anyone confirm the same behaviour and the same issues ?

  • In 12C, SOA Composite homepage, Topology tab is missing

    Hi,
    I did install 12c cloud control.
    After that, deploy agents to monitor soa 11.1.1.5.
    Then i installed ADP manager, JVM diagnostics manager, deploy ADP, JVM agents.
    All status are succeeded and adp/jvm managers are up, agent status is reporting.
    But when I hit any composite link of Deployed Composite in soa-infra home page, it goes to composite home page,
    Only 3 tab pages there, home, fault and rejected message and web service policy.
    From document it mentioned there should be Topology tab at the end. so normally 4 tab pages.
    Is there anything else need to be done to show this Topology tab page for SOA composite?
    Appreicate any help and comments on this issue.

  • 12c SOA composite deployment issue using maven

    I am facing issue with 12c SOA composite deployment using maven. I execute the below command for deploying any composite. (Note: Update and run init.cmd file before running the below maven command)
    mvn pre-integration-test –f soa-pom.xml –Dcomposite.name=TestSOAProj –Dcomposite.version=1.1
    Issues:
    As seen above, I specified composite version to be deployed as 1.1 in pom.xml file, but maven deploys the composite with version that is present in composite.xml. It does build the jar file with the version specified in the pom i.e. TestSOAProj_rev1.1.jar, but when it deploys I see the composite with version as 1.0 (this version is in composite.xml). The out of the box maven script is not overwriting the revision in the composite.xml with the value specified in the pom file.
    Also, is there a way to pass the partition name as an user input parameter in the pom file. I tried this with the out of the box pom file by giving the partition name as something other than ‘default’, but the maven script ignores this and always deploys to ‘default’.
    I am not sure if I am missing anything here. Please suggest.

  • In my SOA Composite, Can I use file/FTP adapter to get the EDI X12 850

    Our requirement is to build a SOA Composite to dump all the details in a EDI X12 850 ( Purchase order ) document in to a database table. In my SOA Composite, Can I use file/FTP adapter to get the EDI X12 850 element details to map them to a base base columns.

    Drop the File Adapter to the left lane of the composite i.e., Services lane...
    Go to Step 2, give a meaningful name....
    Step 3, select "define from operation and schema"
    Step 4, select the operation type as "read"
    Step 5, select physical path and give the folder path in the "Directory for incoming files" field.,
    Step 6, select wildcards and give the expression depending on the file name it would be at run time...
    Step 7, select the polling frequency as required....
    Step 8, in the URL field, adjacent to that , select "browse for schema file" and select the XSD which you have exported from B2B Editor.
    say next and finish, you will be good to go.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Unable to deploy the SOA composite through the EM

    Hi,
    I have created SOA Composite project (version 11.1.1.1.0). This is a simple project which takes message from one JMS queue and puts in another JMS queue.
    Now I wanted to deploy this in another instance of the SOA Suite( version 11.1.1.3.0). When I use Jdeveloper, I can create Application connection to new SOA Suite and deploy the project directly to the new SOA_Suite. and it is working. I have deployed the Project to a Jar file and tried to deploy the Project onto the new Soa suite using the Enterprise Manager console. But It failed giving the following reason ...
    Invalid archive: [J2EE:160112] Error
    The directory, 'D:\oracle\11gR1SOAPS2\user_projects\domains\base_domain\sysman\upload\stage\sca_CacheOrderHeader_rev1upload39341\archive\sca_CacheOrderHeader_rev1.02.jar', does not contain a valid module. If the directory represents an ear file, it must contain a META-INF/application.xml file. If the directory represents an ejb-jar file, it must contain a META-INF/ejb-jar.xml file. If the directory represents a war file, it must contain a WEB-INF/web.xml file. Please ensure the source directory is a valid module and try again.
    Can you please let me know if this error is occuring due to some change in the version of SOA suites ..? Or am I missing something here. Please let me know ..
    Thanks,
    Raj Kumar

    The above error indicates that you are trying to deploy as an application instead of SOA composite. Are you sure that, you are trying to deploy from SOA Infrastructure menu?

    The class path setting is incorrect.
    Ensure that the class path is set correctly. If this happens on the server side, verify that the custom classes or jars which this BPEL process is depending on are deployed correctly. Also verify that the run time is using the same release/version.

    I think you may have gotten confused with the installation guide.
    If you're installing GRC, you should not be installing SOA or other components. There are 2 applications you can install from that distribution, GRCC or EGRCM. EGRCM is the one that refers to SOA's if needed, so even then you shouldn't need to install it for testing out the product.
    I hope that helps!
