Soa management Monitoring ...Display Sequences monitoring

Hello all
What is the previous configuration in order to see the the messages of the web service sequence monitor of the SOA MANAGER .
I was able to consume a webservice via proxy in a same machine and now I want to see the sequence monitor the sequence monitoring ?
How do I have to proceed ?
Thank u for any reply..

A management pack generally refers to the set of pages in EM Grid/Cloud Control which provide functionality for a given set of target types. Since EM Grid Control 11g, the ADP functionality has been part of the Grid Control release and the pages licensed via the Management Pack Plus for SOA or the SOA Management Pack EE.
To populate the ADP pages with data, additional steps must be performed in order to deploy an ADP manager and ADP agents. Doing this is optional, depending on whether or not you require the additional capability that those pages provide.
ADP data, however, are collected and stored separately from the core GC/CC metrics and are not related to the monitoring template functionality.

  • Display "system description" in Solution Manager monitoring info

    Hi,
    We have maintained the "system description" info for our satellite systems in SMSY:
    http://screencast.com/t/OTNmMjFiM
    Is there any way to display this info in the Solution Manager monitoring info?? Without this description text and only with system "SID" info it is very difficult for our IT Managers to identify each system...
    For example, in the monitoring Work Center (System Status tab), is there any way to add the "system description" as a column? We didn't find it any way to insert it...
    Example: http://screencast.com/t/ZGU0ZjJk
    Is there any way too in the SL Reports to include  the "system description" info in the system overview?
    Example: http://screencast.com/t/ZDg4MGIyYj
    Without this info it is really difficult for our IT Managers (from the NWBC) to manage the Solution Manager info and it is only useless for the IT Administrators...
    Thanks in advance,
    Jon

    Hello,
    You can run report RSMSY_REPORTING01 to get the details that you are looking for you will have to work with the selection criteria.

  • What is Novell's successor product manage & monitor servers?

    Based on the inactivity in the group, I'm guessing there's another product
    offering to manage & monitor servers?
    If yes, can you guide to it. The ZCM 10 groups seem only for desktops.
    Just wondering if Novell's no longer offering something to monitor servers.
    Thanks,
    Marc

    Thanks. We presently use ZfD 7 and I'd like test out this ZSM. When we
    upgrade to ZCM10 from ZfD 7 any compatibility problems with with ZSM M&M ?
    Should we even consider implementing ZSM M&M? I mean is the writing on the
    wall for it being discontinued or replaced?
    Thanks again,

  • SRM Manager to Display/Edit Purchasing Document

    Hi All,
    We have configured SAP SRM 7.0 with PPS so that an end-to-end process starting from creating Shopping-Cart until Invoice can be performed successfully.
    We have user called: BUYER, and MANAGER. Each of them able to perform end-to-end scenarios.
    But until now, we cannot make MANAGER to display/edit any purchasing document such as Shopping-Cart, PO, Contract that is created by BUYER.
    We have tried to put all available PFCG roles & portal roles to MANAGER which make MANAGER a super-user. But still, MANAGER cannot see BUYER's document.
    We refer to the following URL for PFCG roles & portal roles:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/d7/4b8a5e1b324584a4aa16281f071a0a/frameset.htm
    Does anybody have solution for this?
    Thanks before.

    Hi! About SC's, the only roles that are able to access SC from other users are:
    Approver: only when the SC is awating approval;
    Admin: through the monitor.
    I hope this clarifies.
    Best regards,

  • Possible reasons for a repository manager not displayed under KM Content

    Hi,
    I developed a repository manager and deployed the par file Archive uploader.
    Most time after deployment, I can see immediately an instance of the repository manager under KM Content. However, sometimes, when I made some changes to the code, it doesn't appear under KM Content. The deployment log in SYS/global/config/cm/reports shows no error.
    I tried to find some log in System Administration - Monitor, but found nothing.
    So, could anyone tell me:
    1. What might be the reason for the problem that the repository manager cannot display under KM Content after deploying the par?
    2. Where can I find the log explaining why my repository manager cannot display?
    Thanks,
    Ray

    Hi Ray,
    Deploying a repository manager means a hot KM deployment, which isn't supported at all, see https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/bb1f18be-0801-0010-ffa0-e3495f7401bc and SAP note 894884. After such a deployment, the KM is restarted, but you have some kind of "shadow KM" in memory, which leads for most things to an unpredictable behaviour.
    In contrast to the documents reffered to above, also the standard KM delivery from SAP still behaves in an uncontrolled way for many issues.
    That's why after a KM hot deployment, you should restart your server if you realize anything "unusual". A workaround is to debug your code and using the hot code replacement feature (which only works in some situations, but that's better than nothing...).
    Hope it helps

  • SOA Management - BPEL PM Target not discovered

    I am using OMS and Agent 10.2.0.3. The OMS is on AIX and the agent is on Solaris.
    The solaris server has an Oracle BPEL PM running. However, this target is not discovered and does not show up in the OMS.
    Does anyone have any experience with monitoring SOA components with GC? Any ideas?
    I have opened an SR with Oracle Support, but after a couple weeks, I am not getting any help from them.
    Thanks again.

    Thanks for your feedback.
    Do you mean under SETUP->MANAGEMENT PACK ACCESS ?
    If so, I do not see the SOA Management pack listed even when I select "All Targets".
    Please advise if this is the appropriate location to enable SOAM pack access.
    Thanks!

  • How to configure soa manager in ecc 6.0

    Dear Experts ,
    now i faced one problem in my server
    when i execute soamanager, my web page is giving error message ( displayed but it shows timed_out error )
    i have doubt in my comfiguration so please let me how can i configure soa manager
    Regards

    Hi
    Are you getting the "Timed Out Error" as soon as you open SOAMANAGER or when you try to Test your WSDL?
    Follow these steps-
    (I) Checking Domain name of WSDL
    a) Open SOAMANAGER and navigate to "Business Administration" tab.
    b) Click on "Web Service Administration" link
    c) In "Search Pattern" search for your Webservice and click on "GO".
    d) Select the line and click "Apply Selection" button
    e) The details of your service definition is displayed. Click on "Open WSDL document for selected binding" link.
    f) Copy the URL. Make a special note of your domain Name. Eg: "http://xxxxx.com:"
    (II) Checking J2EE setting in SOAMANAGER
    a) Go back to your SOAMANAGER home page by clicking "Back" link.
    b) Select "Technical Configuration" Tab and click on "System Global Settings".
    c ) Select "Access Information J2EE server" Tab and note down your J2EE host settings.
    Note: If there are no J2EE host settings, then you probably get them from your BASIS team. Once you get the details, save the host settings.
    (III) Clearing the WSDL Port Type error
    a) Follow steps (a) thru (d) in Part I and click on 3rd link- "Open Web Service navigator for selected binding".
    b) Now your WS Navigator is open. Your work starts here. Provide the WSDL URL from Part (I).f step when asked for "Enter the WSDL URL of the Web service:". Click "Next" button.
    Possible outcomes-
    i) Overview page of your Webservice is seen. In this case you can click on "Test" link on top and continue ... OR
    ii) You get a error page namely-
    Cannot download WSDL from http://xxxx.com:Port#.
    If this is the case, then you need to provide the domain name noted down in PART I- step (f). and hit <Enter> This will open up the Overview page of your Webservice!

  • SOA Manager

    Hi,
    On our IP 7.10 SP7 system we have deployed XI content for SWCV u201CESA ECC-SE 604u201D
    I have found a standard service u201CSalesOrderCreateRequestConfirmation_Inu201D in SWCV u201CESA ECC-SE 604u201D namespace http://sap.com/xi/APPL/SE/Global.
    When I query our SAP ERP system for via tcode u201CSPROXYu201D I do get the proxy in the activated state.
    Now when I go to SOAMANAGER > SOA Management > Application and Scenario Communication > Single Service Administration and search for Service u201CSalesOrderCreateRequestConfirmation_Inu201D then I do not find it.
    When I search for service u201Csalesorderinu201D then I do get some hits, but the service that I am looking for, u201CSalesOrderCreateRequestConfirmation_Inu201D" is not within the returned list. In fact there is no service that is return of the same namespace "http://sap.com/xi/APPL/SE/Global" as I am looking for.
    Please can you clarify or assist.
    Regards
    Willie Hugo

    PI SWCV u201CESA ECC-SE 604u201D will only contain Service definations.
    The actual implementations are in ECC system. Your ECC system should hav also been an 604 version... You can check this by going to system status ->components. SOA manager will only display whats in ur ECC system.
    Based on the version of your ECC, you should import ur ESR-SWCV into PI.

    No this is not a clustered environment.
    yeah but under domains there are two domains we have created.
    i.e. domains/ domain1 domain2
    both are having soa servers as managed server.
    in one domain soa is up but in domain2 it is not getting up causing above errors while starting.
    FYI : It is causing problem now only.. before this , soa server on both the server have been up & running simultaneously.

    Lets us try to start your environment by using a WLST script.
    Before you try starting the servers by using the script, could you first check your weblogic console,
    to see if the server soa_server1 is running or not (click on environment, servers) maybe the enterprise manager is out of sync.
    The following steps are necessary the run the script:
    First edit the nodemanager.properties (which is located in the directory <middleware-home>/wlserver_10.3/common/nodemanager).
    Find the entry StartScriptEnabled and set this property to true.
    Open a command shell and navigate to the directory <middleware-home>/wlserver_10.3/server/bin and run the file setWLSEnv.cmd
    (this sets your environment variables, so that we can run a WLST script).
    Copy the following script into a file named for example StartScript.py and adjust variables as needed
    beahome = '<middleware-home>';
    linux = false;
    adminusername = 'weblogic';
    adminpassword = 'transfer-solutions';
    domainname = 'base_domain';
    pathseparator = '/';
    if not linux:
         print 'SETTING WINDOWS PATH SEPARATOR';
         pathseparator = '\\';
    domainlocation = beahome + pathseparator + 'user_projects' + pathseparator + 'domains' + pathseparator + domainname;
    nodemanagerhomelocation = beahome + pathseparator + 'wlserver_10.3' + pathseparator + 'common' + pathseparator + 'nodemanager';
    print 'START NODE MANAGER';
    startNodeManager(verbose='true', NodeManagerHome=nodemanagerhomelocation, ListenPort='5556', ListenAddress='localhost');
    print 'CONNECT TO NODE MANAGER';
    nmConnect(adminusername, adminpassword, 'localhost', '5556', domainname, domainlocation, 'ssl');
    print 'START ADMIN SERVER';
    nmStart('AdminServer');
    nmServerStatus('AdminServer');
    print 'CONNECT TO ADMIN SERVER';
    connect(adminusername, adminpassword);
    print 'START SOA SERVER';
    start('soa_server1','Server');
    nmServerStatus('soa_server1');Run this script as follows, but first stop the servers already running
    java weblogic.WLST <directory>/StartScript.py

  • Controlling display sequence of level 2 menu [SOLVED]

    I am using the dynamic menu structure (which by the way is an excellent ehancement !) but my level 2 menu groups all have a display sequence of 1 so they order themselves however they like. Obvioulsy I can turn off the flag to update menu items and then allocate the correct display order but if I want to rebuild the menu, the changes are lost.
    Why does it not pick up the order of the groups in the AppDef.xml for level 2 as it does for level 1 ?
    Cheers,
    Brent

    Brent,
    This is caused by an error in jhsDynamicMenu.vm. The statement:
    #set ($subcounter = 1)
    should be located BEFORE statement
    #foreach ($subgroup in $group.detailGroups)
    instead of AFTER this statement.

  • SOA managed server warning

    Hi All,

When I am starting the soa_server1 managed server using NM I am getting following as WARNING in soa_server1.out file. Even though the sever is running fine I doubt does this have any impact ?

    Even though the sever is running fine I doubt does this have any impact ?No impacts on functionality. You may safely ignore these warnings.

  • SOA managed server startup problem

    Hi All,
    I am facing an issue while starting the SOA Managed Server (soa_server1) using NodeManager.
    Backgound:
    I have setup a soa domain, started up NM and admin server using NM in solaris environemnt. All runs fine but when I start MS using NM for the first time it throws error. If I start the MS from the admin console it starts fine. The execution steps I have performed-
    1. Started NodeManager - using script
    2. Shutdown the NodeManager , changed the nodemanager.properties file to update parameter [startScriptEnabled=true] and start it again.
    3. Started AS using NM [nmConnect(..) and nmStart('AdminServer')]
    4. Enrolled the NM with the current machine [connect(..), nmEnroll(domain_dir, nodemanager_home)]
    5. Copied the boot.properties to security/ dir of soa_server1
    6. Started MS using NM - Throws error
    Does it really mean I have to start the MS through admin console everytime I start MS first time in the machine? (I am working on automation on SOA env where everynight env wipes off and installs the SOA stack from scratch)
    The soa-server1.out looks like:

    Hi,
    I have implemented the above mentioned suggestions. But seems to have no luck. I had
    1. Copied startup.properties to ${DOMAIN_HOME}/servers/soa_server1/data/nodemanager
    2. Copied the boot.properties to ${DOMAIN_HOME}/servers/soa_server1/security
    These did not added any value, so I though of passing the parameters at nmStart() as WLST object;
    arg="Arguments=\" -Dweblogic.management.server=localhost:8001\"" (My AS and MS runs on same machine)
    prps=makePropertiesObject(arg)
    nmStart('soa_server1',props=prps)
    This started throwing Boot Identity file not valid.
    I changed my way.
    1. Connected to Admin Server using WLST
    connect (username, password)
    2. Start MS
    start('soa_server1')
    Its working fine now and under NM control. Not sure what more NM demands when starting without AS.

  • SOA managed server and SOA infra not starting

    Hi
    I have my database and listener up and running. I can also successfully start SOA Administration server.
    But I am unable to start SOA managed server. I can see SOA managed server getting started with WARNING and SOA infra always fails to start.
    I tried using both from command line as well as from NodeManager but without any luck. As a result I am unable to proceed with Deployment as soa_server1 does not appear in Step 4 in Jdeveloper deployment GUI dialog. I would also like to ask from the Gurus:
    How can I start soa-infra alone as I cannot see any command from the command line to individually start soa-infra ?
    Here is my part of output from soa_server1. The exception errors keep logging in loop and the file is growing. I had to terminate the process:
    <Jun 3, 2010 10:40:03 PM> <INFO> <NodeManager> <Server output log file is '/home/oracle1/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/domain1/servers/soa_server1/logs/soa_server1.out'>

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply
    Here is my installation details on Linux 32 bit OS:
    Weblogic server- wls1032_linux32.bin
    Repository Creation Utility- ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.2.1_disk1_1of1.zip
    SOA Suite- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    JDeveloper Studio, base install- jdevstudio11112install.jar
    SOA Extension for JDeveloper- ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    The installation went very smooth and there was no errors in the same.
    I can successfully start the Weblogic Administration server from the command line but unable to start successfully SOA Managed (soa_server1), Infra and BAM server (bam_server1). I tried starting SOA Managed (soa_server1) from command line as well as from Weblogic console EM (after starting Node Manager) but always receiving the errors I uploaded in my post earlier. As a result I am unable to deploy any composite application
    Please advice
    Thanks
    Rohit

    Which version of weblogic and SOA suite have you installed? Which OS are you using? Check on em whether soa-infra is up?
    BTW, for Oracle B2B related questions, you should raise threads in Oracle B2B forum -
    Integration - B2B
