SOA Suite 10.1.3.4: ESB folder missing from OHS

I have the following setup on Windows XP Pro:
1. Oracle Database XE
2. SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0 - Advanced Install
3. Upgrade to SOA Suite 10.1.3.4.0 MLR#7
4. SOADEMO - runs very well; I can place orders that require approval and see audit logs fine.
Upon startup though I'm getting the following error:
Component Name = OHS
Component ID = OHS
Message Level = 1
Module ID = ohs
Message Type = Error
Message Text = *[error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: c:/bin/oracle/oraappsrv_soasuite/10.1.3/oracleas_1/apache/apache/htdocs/esb/ESBConsoleMain.html*
(Note 1: My Soa Home is C:\bin\oracle\OraAppSrv_SOASuite\10.1.3\OracleAS_1 )
(Note 2: Looking into the SOAHOME\Apache\Apache\htdocs directory, I can't locate the ESB folder; i.e. folder is totally missing!)
Any ideas on why the above error might be happening and how to eliminate it?
Thanks in advance,
Alex.

Yes it does. I believe it uses saxon library but don't quote me on that.

  • Applications folder missing from Dock and Finder

I was a little confused to find my applications folder missing from the Dock on my Macbook Pro today - I can't think of anything which I may have done to actively cause it to go missing. I opened up the finder and dragged the applications icon from the LHS of the finder onto the RHS of the dock, but rather than reappearing in the doc it just disappeared.
When I went back to the finder to try again I discovered that it had vanished from there as well. I ran a search in the finder for "applications" and found the applications folder in the results, but when I try to open it I get the following error message "The alias “Applications” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found."
Does anyone have any ideas on what might have caused this or on how I get my Applications folder back on the Dock? Any help would be really appreciated!

The Applications folder on the dock is a shortcut, or more specifically, an alias.
It sounds like what you did was to drag the Applications item from the Finder sidebar...which is also an alias. By dragging it from the sidebar, it's as if you'd dragged an icon off the dock. It poofs and disappears.
To get them back, open a Finder window and navigate to Macintosh HD (or whatever you've named your hard drive). At the root level of the drive lives your Applications folder (the actual folder, not an alias). Drag that one to the sidebar to replace that shortcut, and drag it again to the Dock to replace that shortcut as well.
If you click on Macintosh HD and all you see are System, Library, and Users and have no Applications folder, then something terrible has happened.

  • Applications folder missing from Macintosh HD in Finder

The "Applications" folder disappeared from my "Macintosh HD" finder window a few days ago and I have found no way to restore it. I can access "Applications" from the Finder sidebar and it the "Applications" folder displays in the Path Bar but not in the "Macintosh HD" finder window. Time Machine displays the "Application" folder in the "Macintosh HD" finder window as it last appeared a few days ago but I can not restore it using Time Machine. I get a message that "Applications" is part of the system and cannot be changed. I find nothing in finder preferences to restore the folder. Any suggestions?

Take a look at this Apple Knowledge Base article:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307033
The command should work for the Applications folder as well, you would just need to replace the "~/" path with "/Applications"--you may run into a permissions problem, so you would have to run the command as the super user. If that is the case, the command would look like this:
    sudo chflags nohidden /Applications
Hit return, you'll be asked for your password, type it carefully as it is not echoed to the screen in any way whatsoever, hit return again. You'll get a little lecture about sudo.

  • Archive folder missing from Mail & search not working

I've been having trouble getting the Archive mailbox to appear in Mail. What's worse, often the search function is broken, and Mail doesn't turn up any search results. I've found some ways to get the Archive folder to reappear, but these only seem to help temporarily. For instance, clicking on the gear at the bottom left and selecting "Get Account Info" then selecting the Archive folder causes it to reappear, but this is only temporary and it disappears after another restart or sometimes after an hour or two. The search not working is the worst, as it sometimes is working and sometimes isn't. I don't have any idea what's causing this, but I am at my wit's end because I NEED Mail to be firing on all cylinders.

Hello, and welcome to the Discussions.
What are your selections in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced for this Gmail account, if using IMAP, regarding keeping message for Offline use? The Mail search can only access the list of messages to search Subject, From, etc, but not the entire message unless copies of all messages are being kept on the computer. This would be true for any IMAP account, btw.
    More info, please.

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 organizer program/folder missing from  installation

I downloaded the upgrade to Photoshop Elements 12 from the internet in November 2013 and the organizer part of the program is totally missing as well as the Photoshop Elements Organizer.exe file..  With previous versions (9 &10) Elements Organizer has its own folder containing files containing the Photoshop Elements Organizer.exe file. but this whole folder is not present with this version 12 upgrade.   I have downloaded the file and uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail.  Can you advise how I obtain this part of the program.

I have downloaded the Adobe Support Advisor ( apparently been withdrawn according to the Adobe website) and it located no errors.
Again I say that the Elements Organizer program is missing as there is no Elements Organizer 12 sub-folder within the Adobe folder located in C drive where the program is installed (Photoshop
Elements 10 has an Elements Organizer 10 sub-folder and the organizer works fine).
Also on clicking the Photoshop desktop icon (loaded by the program installation) message says "cannot find Photoshop Elements 12.exe.  However the program can be loaded from the PhotoshopElementsEditor 12.exe file, but the organizer button at the bottom right of the editor screen when clicked gives message " loading elements organizer workspace" and after a minute or so this message disappears and nothing happens.
The download is an upgrade version so I don't whether this makes any difference.

  • Trash and Junk Folder Missing from Mail 5.1

    Hello,
I am running Mac OS X 7.1.2, and Mail version 5.1, and am currently experiencing a massive issue when using the Mail Application. At the moment I cannot seem to access a mail folder or a trash folder, and cannot even create a folder and select 'use as trash' as this is greyed out. So far I have managed to get around the Junk issue, by making a new folder and adding a rule that sends all junk mail to it, but cannot see a way to do the same for trash; any suggestions?
    Thanks, 4r1

  • SOA suite 10.1.3.3 with OHS Apache 2.0 ... mod_oc4j errors

    Hi all,
I have a SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 environment fronted by Apache 2.0.
Installed OHS 2.0 from the Companion CD in a new OHS ORACLE_HOME
    Installed SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 in a new J2EE ORACLE_HOME
Can access the consoles ok (BPEL, ESB, etc ...).
    Can access EM ok.
    Can deploy BPEL processes OK.
    However, deployment of ESBs fail.
The Apache 2.0 error_log has the following message:
    [Thu Feb 28 10:08:08 2008] [debug] /ade/aime_asrc2_2/oracle/asg_apache/oc4j/src/oc4j_ajp13_worker.c(1288): mod_oc4j: AJP error talking to OC4J atsapdod03:12511: recv failed, 0
    [Thu Feb 28 10:08:08 2008] [error] [client 10.38.75.180] mod_oc4j: request to OC4J atsapdod03:12511 failed: Connect failed
Looking at the oc4j-status page, the OC4J container running on atsapdod03:12511 is the container that holds the esb-dt application.
Has anyone out there got Apache 2.0 working with the SOA Suite?

Looks definitely to be an issue with OHS Apache 2.0.
    * Shutdown OHS Apache 2.0
    * Installed OHS 1.3 in a new ORACLE_HOME.
    * Reconfigured OHS 1.3 to run on the same ports as OHS Apache 2.0
    * Started OHS 1.3
    * All works OK

  • JDeveloper SOA Suite App Server connection issue

I am having an issue in JDeveloper connecting to SOA Suite deployed on an Amazon EC2 instance. From the application server tab, I can successfully create a new app server connection to SOA Suite (all 9 tests in the "Test Connection" run successfully). However, after that when I try to expand the SOA folder under the app server tab, I get a "javax.naming.CommunicationException", shown below. All the other folders (Clusters, Servers, Deployments, Web Services) expand and show the proper information without error.
One thing I notice is that an explicit IP of 10.80.47.145 using T3 protocol is listed in the error, as opposed to the host name of the Amazon EC2 instance over http. But I am not sure how to change that in JDeveloper's configuration for the app server. And it doesn't make sense why that is the only folder that errors out.
Thanks in advance for any help.

We are having the same issue here. We have added an SSL certificate to our soa server, and now when we connect with JDEV 11.1.1.4 it gives us this error. Those that are on 11.1.1.3 have imported the certificate to their keystore in JDEV and it works fine for them, but for those of us on 11.1.1.4, we still receive the same error.
    Thanks,

  • Error Installing Oracle SOA Suite

    Hello,
I'm getting errors below (only copied partial error) when I start managed server soa_server1. Main errors seem to be:
"No unique bean of type [javax.persistence.EntityManager] is defined" and "Caused By: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/bpm/analytics/cube/action/CubeCommand".
Any suggestions on where to start debugging?

  • How to use SOA Suite in conjunction with SOA Analysis and Design Tools

    Hi everybody,
I am a novice in this field and I need some help regarding integrating analysis and design tools with SOA Suite.
We used to analyze and design with Oracle Designer and use its powerful form generator to develop a system. It almost covered all the software lifecycle and kept the traceability between anlaysis, design and implementation.
I have studied about the SOA concepts and read some papaer about SOA Suite. I have also installed the SOA demo based on SOA Suite and I found it absolutely amazing, but my problem is that It seems oracle does not have any tools for SOA Analysis and Design. am I right? if so, How can we analyze and design a system based on SOA concepts and implement it using soa suite in such a way that keeps traceability? What tools is used for this purpose?
It seems that IBM have some tools like Rational Software Architect and Rational Suite which enable people to design and analyze based on SOA concepts and then generates some pieces of code (like oracle designer in old days) but is it possible to design in these tools and then generating codes for SOA Suite ? (for example generating a bpel file from a design model)
As I told before I am a novice in this field and I would be so grateful if other users can share their expriences regarding this matter.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Navid

  • Importing CRM On Demand Environment Certificates on SOA Suite.

    Hi All,
I am trying to invoke CRM On Demand Environment Web Services from a SOA Suite.
Normally for CRM On Demand Environment you will need to import a Certificate as it is an external Environment hosted by Oracle.
I am able to do add the certificate on the server using the keytool and create Identity and Trust, but when I try to invoke SOA Process invoking the CRM OD Web Service, the SOA Process fails
Has anyone tried importing CRM OD Certificates in the SOA Suite.

May i know how can i consume this service with transport level security. I got the certificate and private key from Amazon.

The error message says "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/j2ee/ws/common/jaxws/ServiceDelegateImpl" which means that you don't have this class in the classpath. If you're using JDev 11g you can search for this class to find out which library has it:
    1. Double click your project. It can be any project
    2. Select "Libraries and Classpath"
    3. Click on the "Add Library..." button
    4. Enter the class you're looking for in the search field. JDev will show which Libraries have this class.
You can find the related jar file that has this class on {JDEV_HOME}\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.webservices_11.1.1\wsclient.jar .
AFAIK, there's no direct Web Service access to Human Task Flow. You need to go through the client API which is responsible for abstracting which protocol is used (co-located, remote ejb, or soap).

    Hello,
Can any one please help as to how I can do the following in Oracle SOA 11g:
Using a BPEL process how can I send an Email with attachments where the attachment itself is coming from a SOAP attachment.
The back ground is that we have portal sites from where the users can upload a document and then from their a SOA service is invoked and the attachment would be passed as (SOAP attachments) and then emails have to be send to users containing this uploaded document as the attachment.
    Thanks.
feel free to email me [email protected]
