SOA Suite Demo MIMEService - cannot be run/debug in this release.

Hi,
I'm getting the error message "MimeService.bpel cannot be run/debug in this release" after opening the example project in JDeveloper and selecting "Run".
Compilation works fine though:
Successful compilation: 0 errors, 0 warnings.
I installed the SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 and also tried it after updating to 10.1.3.3.
For JDeveloper I have tried v10.1.3.1 and v10.1.3.2
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Fabian

You can not run a BPEL process in JDeveloper, you can only deploy it to the SOA server and test it from there.

  • Cannot be run/debug in this release?

Hi, I am following the installation instructions and built my first HelloWorld Composite service, but when I tried to run it, JDeveloper gave me the error message: cannot be run/debug in this release. Is this by design or is it I'm missing anything?
    Thanks for any insights!

I reconfigured SOA with "Basic" option (it was "Configure All"), and it's working now

Wow - I got it to work.
I saw some posts about there being two versions of the Order booking demo. One was soademo_101310_preview.zip
    and the other was soademo_101310_prod.zip.
I had been using the preview version, and I figured I would try the prod version because nothing else was working. I did everything exactly the same, and deployed each application one by one following the SOA Suite quick start guide, as I had before.
Anyway, I don't know exactly what is different between the two versions, but the prod worked.
Thanks for all those that responded!

  • Restart of SOA Suite server = Manually restart all running BPEL processes?

    Hi,
Is it true that in SOA Suite 10.1.3 you have to manually restart all running BPEL process if you restart the SOA Suite? And that this was working in 10.1.2?
If it is true, how do people handle that? We might have thousands of processes waiting in Waiting state on the server so this sounds like a nightmare. :-)
    Regards Pete

Yes, I was a bit surprised too, that is why I am asking. :-) I was a colleague that told me that it was not working in 10.1.3. But I should just go and check it out.
    Regards Pete

  • Cannot find SOA Suite 11.1.1.2

I download SOA suite 11.1.1.2 (ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip), weblogic 10.3.2, and RCU 11.1.1.2. Then, I install them.
However during SOA configuration, in the step of Generate a domain configured automatically to support the following products, all the product (SOA Suite, EM, BAM, JRF) versions are 11.1.1.0
    Where is SOA Suite 11.1.1.2?
I post this thread in SOA Suite forum. But no one tell me how to do next.

    Hi,
I'll forward your question internally. Maybe a labeling issue

  • Connection Reset on Oracle SOA-Suite 10.1.3.5.0 Apache-Webserver with SSLv3

    Hi,
I'm trying to use SSL with my SOA-Suite 10.1.3.5.0 Webserver. This Problem occurs on both a windows and a linux machine. I'm referring to the windows-machine, as this has the latest patch-level. My problems are about the Apache-Webserver only. I didn't do any special configuration, and SSL is working fine in the Browser (FF3.5 and IE 8). But for Paypal IPN Notification i'm having serious troubles. I was able to track down the problem to a SSLv3 problem. I installed the latest openssl version and issued the following command:
    openssl s_client -connect localhost:443
This gives me the following output:
    C:\OpenSSL\bin>openssl s_client -connect localhost:443

When adding the -bugs to the openssl commandline (saying "Switch on all SSL implementation bug workarounds") everything is working fine (with the same output for openssl, using sslv3 and the following additional line in the ssl-log: [info] Initial (No.1) HTTPS request received for child 34 (server soa1.karlsbad2.promatis.de:443) (at the end just before connection close).
When setting the client to use ssl2 (-ssl2) everything is fine too. When doing -ssl3 it is the same as without any parameter.
The certificate has expired message and the test-certificate seem not to be related with my problems, since the same problems arise on our production server having a "real and valid" SSL certificate certified by a renowned SSL-CA.
When setting SSLProtocol +SSLv2 in the ssl.conf openssl is working fine too. But this is not an option as sslv2 is no longer supported by Firefox (giving me an error-message when accessing the page).
I played around with SSLCipherSuite in the ssl.conf without success. I fear mod_ossl has a bug when working with the specified ssl-parameters. Is there any way out of this?
Any help would be highyl appreciated,
    Best regards
    Johannes Michler

Did you find a solution to this issue? We are having a similar issue trying to deploy a Paypal IPN on OAS 10.1.2.3. The IPN messages coming from Paypal appear to be attempting an SSLv2 handshake. In our case SSLv2 is disabled due to our security requirements so the connection is killed by our App Server. We have found that manually sending the IPN messages works correctly.

  • Issue in starting soa suite 10g server in win 7

    Hi All,
I recently upgraded my personal laptop to a new laptop with win 7 and hence trying to install all my oracle software from my old laptop to new one.
So far I have installed the following software - Oracle Developer Suite 10g, Oracle XE 11g, Oracle jDev Studio 11g ADF, Oracle Soa Suite 10g
All installation are working fine except the "Oracle Soa Suite 10g".
After installation, the server is starting fine and I am able to log into the Oracle Application Server 10g EM console.
But when I restart my system, I am not able to start the soa suite 10g.
If I run the "opmnctl start" from command line, a new command window is opening and closing immediately.
I am not able to find out the issue.
Can somebody please help me to identify the issue?
While installing the soa suite 10g, I had set the compatibility settings to "Win XP Service Pack 3", which was there in my old laptop.
    Kindly help.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Janny

  • OpticControlException when shutting down SOA suite

When I try shutting down the SOA suite, I invariably get this error:

I've reinstalled the suite several times, but it's caused no change in this behavior.
Does it have anything to do with my XP machine being on DHCP? I noticed several posts where people reported slightly similar startup problems because their machines were configured for DHCP.
I can't change my machine from DHCP to static - the customer won't allow that.
    What's the solution?
    Please help.

    Hi,
I get the same stopping and starting the SOA Suite on Windows, only when using 'Stop SOA Suite' UI widgets from the Windows menu.
This behavior started after patching the from 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.3 (i.e. applying patch 6148874). The patch was applied successfully.
A simple workaround is to start and stop SOA Suite using the command-line opmnctl tool. No problems with that.

  • SOA Suite 11g Clustering error/oracle bug ?

Hi, i got several experiment to implement soa suite 11g clustering, in my company.. at this moment we still use development mode in our application server. now i'm trying to get into production and also i want cluster the server.. here is the chronology what i do.
    i got 3 server :
    my plan is
server #1 become an proxy server, let say the name is soa_proxy
server #2 become an cluster node, let say the name is soa_server1
server #3 become an cluster node, let say the name is soa_server2
so i start install & configure it (applications is running under Windows Server 2003)
    1.*soa_proxy*
    - Installing WebLogic server
    - Installing SOA
    - Create Repository with RCU (oracle 10g database)
    2.*soa_server1*
    - Installing WebLogic server
    - Installing SOA
    3.*soa_server2*
    - Installing WebLogic server
    - Installing SOA
after installation finished, then i create domain in soa_proxy server let say it name 'MyDomain', then i assign the soa_server1 and soa_server2 in cluster node named 'MyCluster', also i assign the soa_proxy server as a HTTP Proxy Server.. i'm following the instructions just like this link Link: [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/doc.1111/e13925/config_screens.htm#CJAEABGD]
all the installation seems good, but when i try to deploy my composite application into the proxy server 'soa_proxy' with JDev, i got error like this
    Image: !http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2122/error2z.jpg!
and when i go to Http://hostname:7001/em
i just see my composite deployed only in 'soa_server2'.
UPDATE : well, now the error was gone when deploying. but we still got little odd result,
when i deploy with jdev, it still fine, until i go to the enterprise manager. yess still.. my composite only deplyed in 'soa_server1'. i got some reference that we can copy the domain directory in soa_proxy and then paste into the server that not yet been deployed before. its seems oke..
i've been thinking, how if i got 10 node of cluster? 50 node of cluster ? should i copy the directory just like that ?? is there another charmed way to do it???
can somebody help me with this simple case?
    regards
    Wildan

    =======
here is my last trial to deploy the cluster environment, then i just got the same issues, our team here think thats the issues causing by oracle bug in code behind. for reminder what i do last experiment
    1. we deploy/configure the domain (admin console, cluster node) then starting up all the services smoothly without no issues & as we saw in the console monitor we can see the cluster is syncronizing.
    2. then we create simple composite.
    3. we try to deploy the composite to the cluster domain, and what we got is the composite only deployed in one cluster node.
let me describe to clear it,
    * first trial, when we deploy the composite, here is what we got in em console
    *[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer1)*
    [+] CompositeLabTest
    *[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer2)*
in JDev we also saw this message (the project CompositeLabTest Deploy Process is skipped), some kind like that
    * second time trial, we try to shut the SoaServer2 down, then restart it, what we got in em console
    *[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer1)*
    [+] CompositeLabTest
    *[-] SoaInfra (SoaServer2)*
    [+] CompositeLabTest
. so until today my soa suite 11g clustering experience is never going good practice.. any of you may had experience with clustering too, how that can be done? please respon...
    thanks

    Hi there.
Me too I have a similar problem with cluster deployment.
I have two different domains in two different phisical machine on the same LAN.
These domains are equals and the sole difference is regarding the IP configuration:
    domain 1
    machine 172.0.0.1
    soaadmin 172.0.0.1
    soa1 172.0.0.2
    soa1 172.0.0.3
    domain 2
    machine 172.0.1.1
    soaadmin 172.0.1.1
    soa1 172.0.1.2
    soa1 172.0.1.3
When I try to deploy a new composite from the EM this fails (it remains in waiting for a response like the followed)
    <Jun 18, 2010 10:42:00 AM CEST> <Warning> <org.apache.myfaces.trinidadinternal.context.RequestContextImpl> <BEA-000000> <Could not find partial trigger idArchiveFileBrowserDialog from RichInputText[UIXEditableFacesBeanImpl, id=idArchiveLoc]>
    Processing sar=/tmp/dir2448127768139530528tmp/sca_SOAComposite1_rev1.0.jar
    Adding sar file - /tmp/dir2448127768139530528tmp/sca_SOAComposite1_rev1.0.jar
Creating HTTP connection to host:172.0.0.2, port:10002
    What I checked:
In multicast configuration soa1 (domain1) sent the request to all soa servers in the LAN (even in that one that aren't configurated in his domain)
In unicast configuration soa1 (domain1) sent the request only to the soa2 (domain1) server but it remain in waiting for a response for all the time.
What it is strange is that if I stop the domain2 the request can be performed and my composite is deployed in both the servers.
Any idea about this strange behaviour?
    N.B.
    I'm not using Coherence.

  • Relate to DehydrationStore in Oracle Soa suite 11g

Can you explain what are the steps required to configure dehydration store ?
In DB which contain the dehydration store informtion?

    Hi,
Dehydration store is a part of the *<prefix>_SOAINFRA* schema. When you install the SOA Suite, as part of the installation process you will have to use RCU (Repository Creation Utility) to create various schemas needed for the SOA Suite components. Hence while run the RCU to create SOAINFRA schema which has tables for dehydration store. You do not need to create it separately.
    Hope this clarifies your doubt.
    Thanks,
    Sanjay

  • Problems in starting Admin server for soa suite in windows 7 homebasic

    Hi All,
I installed SOA Suite R1 in my laptop running windows 7 home basic version.
Its 64 bit OS but I installed the files in win32 folder as it didn't allow me to install the generic file and even win64 file.
installation was successful but after installation once I try to start the weblogic admin server using
startAdminServer.cmd through my command prompt. It is running for few seconds and command prompt is getting closed abruptly and nothing comes up.
It's very strange and I am not able to find out... Please help me.
    Thanks In Advance.

Ideally you should be able to set up the 64-bit generic installer not sure of the reason...
Please use the correct version of 64 bit jdk and check the logs
You can check out the weblogic admin server logs

    Please help me

    Vipin,
Thanks for the reply. However, the environment variable ORACLE_HOME was not set. Remember I had looked through the registry to make sure it was clean. This included the environment variables that are defined therein.
I did get around this problem by not using the default install path. I changed c:\product to a different directory name and it work. It is strange that it had a problem with the same path that the previous SOA preview was installed to. Since the directory was not there and I could not find anything in the registry. There must be a file in the %WINDOWS% directory that has information about other oracle installs. At least that is my guess. It is apparent that a deinstall does not remove everything :)

  • Oracle SOA SUIT 10G memory profilng

    Hi,
We are having Oracle10G SOA SUIT Installed and application is running fine. But We need to do memory profiling over soa suit for ADF application where parent application is orapbel.
Please suggest how do we start profiling?
I have enabled profiling through Eclipse TPTP and in profiling mode server in not responding for the resource request.
After checking opmnctl status Its showning process are down.
Please suggect the way I need to do profiling with open source profiler or IDE for memory analysis.
    Thanks,

10.1.3.5.1 is the version for Weblogic.

  • External services moved, but SOA suite still gives "no route to host"

We have a SOA Suite integrating towards external services. The external service provider moved the services to a different server, and updated dns entries to reflect this move. But our SOA Suite gave "no route to host" errors when this move was performed, clearly not reloading the changes done in DNS, but still using the old address.
How and where can the SOA Suite be configured to actually time out domain name resolutions, when external services are moved this way. Can we ask it to use hostname instead of ip address.
Bouncing the servers is of course working, but there must be a configuraiton way around this.
bouncing production servers is the final resort.
    Details of error message
<MSG_TEXT>BusinessEvent diapatch failed for {ESBDomain.Service.publish} with error An unhandled exception has been thrown in the ESB system. The exception reported is: "oracle.tip.esb.server.common.exceptions.BusinessEventRetriableException: An unhandled exception has been thrown in the ESB system. also check for firewalls on the server - a good test would be to an attempt to telnet into webservice hostname and portnumber from the SOA Server.
