  • SOA suite not starting up

    Hi,
    I am trying to start soa suite, and it is not starting up. It had been working fine till yesterday, and now it has stopped working. I have restarted my machine couple of times, but that doesnt seem to help. It has some problems making a http connection to the orabpel process at http://localhost:8888/orabpel . It tries all the combinations as localhost, pdalmia-us, ip address etc etc, but still not able to make connection. It looks like the server itself does not get started because I can not browse to http://localhost:8888 to get to the em page. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Prabhat

    Looks like there is something wrong with the database connections for MDS. Login to Admin Console and go to Services -> Data Sources. Check the host, port and other connection parameters for the "MDS_LocalTxDataSource" data-source. Verify the details by trying to connect the same MDS schema from any database client. By the way, the error is quite clearly mentioned in this case, which is "Unknown host specified". I guess, the host entry is invalid.
    Hope it helps !

  • SOA Suite not starting

    Hi All,
    I have been using SOA Suite for quite sometime, but today suddenly when I tried to start it, I was unable to do so.
    I got an error showing "Could not create JVM".
    any insights would be greatly helpful.
    thanks
    Saurabh

    Hi Saurabh,
    Just guessing, I saw it is very common error due to corruption of JVM. How about copying JDK directory (soasuite/jdk) from any other SOA backup you may have? or install jdk and overwrite the one?

  • Ovi Suite not downloading maps

    I connect my 5800 to my pc, then go to Maps, the application automatically connects to the maps server but it doesn't update the maps list on the left. At the moment only the continents are displayed. It also failed to find any maps installed on my device so I deleted the cities folder and qf file. Please help.

    If youn deleted the cities folder and qf file, did you recreate the folder structure? After deleting you should reboot your phone and open maps application for a few minutes then reconnect to Ovi Suite.
    If you find my post helpful please click the green star on the left under the avatar. Thanks.

  • Ovi Suite will not download

    WHY DOES OVI SUITE NOT DOWNLOAD BEYOND 2% FROM THE OVI SITE ?????
    I have a 6110 Navigator and the navigator will not load the maps - I tried updating the maps and now it will not work at all - I then thoguh I would try and update the firmware as it has not been done for a long time - PC Suite says I have to use Ovi - I click download and nothing happens after about 2% of the download from the Ovi  site- left it all day and still no movement???? I have tried for several days on several computers and always the same - 2% stop no more?? this is such a pain - I see from this site that Ovi is apparently rubbish and does not work yet Nokia is forcing me to have to use it - yet they do not allow me to download it from their site so I can use it - is this to make me buy a bew phone??????
    How do I update the firmware and maps if I cannot get the piece of software I must use from the site?

    You can download ovisuite from here: http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite
    Could you please provide your Pcsuite version and language, OS details?
    Please THANK me by clicking on the ****WHITE STAR** ( Giving KUDOS) the big GREEN BOX to your LEFT .
    It will help me to serve you better !!!!!
    Thanking You

  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g vs jdevstudio11.11

    In reviewing the SOA Order Booking Quikstart Guide it requires that you download and configure Oracle SOA Suite. Prior to starting this Guide, I had already downloaded the Oracle SOA Suite 11g Technology Preview which included two downloads (JDeveloper and the update to the design and runtime). I followed the install instructions from the same site.
    1) Having completed these two downloads and installs do I still need to install and configure the Oracle SOA Suite to run the SOA Order Quickstart Guide?
    2) My understanding was that the Oracle SOA Suite 11g Technology Preview included the Oracle SOA Suite, is this correct? If not correct, do I need to also install the Oracle SOA Suite (my downloaded version is soa_windows_x86_101310_disk1.zip)?
    3) When configuring the SOA Suite, per the guide, it states that I should go to http://loalhost:8888 but I do not get a connection. If I still need to install the Oracle Suite then I expect that this will solve this issue (per questions above) but if it already is isntalled with the SOA Suite 11g Technology Preview then I confused as to how to get this location to show up? I can get the SOA Console to show up but I don't know if this is the same?

    The SOA Orderbooking Quickstart is for SOA Suite 10.1.3.x. If you want to run this sample, you do have to install SOA Suite 10.1.3.x. This is the current released version of SOA Suite.
    The Technology Preview 3 is SOA Suite 11g. This version is in a pre-beta/preview status right now. It has the SOA Suite with the JDeveloper. This version has its own tutorials/samples.
    In reply to your specific questions:
    1) the two downloads for the TP3 do not apply to the 10.1.3.1 SOA Orderbooking Quickstart.
    2) The 11g TP3 does include the 11g SOA Suite and you do not need to install the 10.1.3.1 zip to run the preview.
    3) When you run the SOA Suite 10.1.3.1, the default port is 8888. When you run the 11g SOA Suite inside JDev, the default port is 8988.

  • Installation of SOA Suite

    Hi,
    is it possible to install only some parts of SOA Suite, not the all available? For instance, I need BPEL and Business Rules, and thats it. So I wonder if somehow I can omit installation of other components.

    is it possible to install only some parts of SOA Suite, not the all available? For instance, I need BPEL and Business Rules, and thats it. So I wonder if somehow I can omit installation of other components.No with 11g release it won't be possible but logical grouping can be done while creating the domain by selecting appropriate template. I mean if you want to create a SOA domain only then do not select the BAM or BPM options and domain would not have those functionalities. Similarly if you need a BAM only domain then select BAM template only while creating the domain.

  • Start soa suite

    Hi
    i install basic soa suite.when i start soa suite see init in opmn status and soa suite not work and my browser show can not display page.
    i should stop soa suite and start again for more one. and then see alive and soa suite work.
    can you help me?

    Hello Dietrich,
    I am having similar issue with Windows SOA suite. Nothing special in opmn log.
    Here is something to add: it shows init status and opmnctl startall directly return to the command prompt. If I really wait long enough e.g. 10 min or so, then it does really start. user636779, can you confirm if you are also getting such behaviour?
    But if I do opmnctl shutdown, and then opmnctl startall, this commands doesn't return till entire soasuite is up.
    - I have seen this in windows in pretty much every single installation, and quite a few times in Linux.
    Let me know if you have any thought.
    Regards.,

  • SOA Suite Download and documentation

    Hi All,
    I am new to the SOA world and want to learn the technology. Where can I find the documents online and which book should I buy? What will be the starting point for SOA? Also, I am trying to download the SOA suite from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/soa/index.html but after accepting the agreement, it gives me 404:document not found error.
    Appreciate if someone can help me downloading the latest SOA suite.
    Thanks in advance,
    CAH

    Hi ,
    SOA Quick Start Guide is below.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/core.1013/b28938/intro.htm
    Other Docs can be accessed at "http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/index.htm".
    Though these docs give you loads and loads of information, one good book wud be "http://www.amazon.com/Oracle-SOA-Suite-Developers-Guide/dp/1847193552".
    For Downloading, you are at the right location: I tried the link and it works.
    probablly u cud check after sometime.
    cheers!

    Hi
    JDeveloper Extensions (SOA or BPM) do NOT have any relationship to where the JDeveloper is installed (like which middleware home). As mentioned, its better to install JDeveloper in its own home.
    NOW, coming to getting the extensions for BPM or SOA, sometimes the Oracle Site may be down and hence online update may not work. Please see this below post, specially the 2 links I pasted there. I verified, they have downloadables for 11.6 version also. Just download them and apply the extensions manually.

  • Weblogic Domain not getting created in SOA Suite 11g R2

    I have installed the components of SOA Suite 11g R2 (11.1.1.3) on a single Windows XP SP3 machine (32 bit) following recommended procedures. I tried to configure Weblogic server using Domain Configuration utility. After navigating hrough the wizard, no Weblogic server profile is getting created in the doamin folder. Even the WL Admin server is not getting created. The Domain Configuration utility did not throw any errors.
    1) Is this problem related to Oracle repository for SOA suite 11g?
    2) Can the repository schemas (Oracle) hold multiple weblogic SOA domain information?

    Hi,
    Weblogic servers directory do not gets created after domain creation or even managed server configuration. It will present itself only when you start the managed server for the first time, that is when it initializes all security attributes, diagnostic attributes (if configured) , etc..
    Perform server start and then check if it gets created or not.

  • OSB to SOA suite package not forming correctly

    Setup is as follows:
    AIX 5.3 on the box, 10 gigs ram, installation of the latest releases of OSB and SOA suite on top of weblogic. I've built out a couple of simple database queries in BPEL based off wsdls, dropped them on to the SOA suite server, used EM to open a test console and plugged in some search data. Search returns successfully.
    I then open up OSB's console, create a business service to the endpoint on the soa server, and a proxy based off the same wsdl used in the BPEL construction which I then route to the business service. Both service and proxy are made with basic http for the protocol (not sure how to use the sb protocol, and not sure if that will fix the problem). Load the test console on the proxy service, which displays an xml form similar to what is used in the SOA suite. Fill out the same information, but the invoke returns BEA-380000. Following the invocation trace in OSB everything looks good in terms of package content.
    Wondering if it might simply be a problem with how the OSB interprets XML from a wsdl, I piped the XML from the SOA suite into the OSB's xml field, but to no luck, same error. After some more testing and frustration,I put the SOA suite XML straight in to the form field in the OSB test console, and it worked. However, the package itself seems oddly formed, consisting of:
    <soapenv:Envelope      xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Header      xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         </soap:Header>
         <soapenv:Body>
         <soap:Envelope      xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Header/>
    Which I've been told is basically double wrapping the package, which shouldn't work, and more importantly wont be generated when someone uses say SOAPUI to access our service on the OSB.
    Now, on the SOA suite side of things. In EM console, I navigate to my BPEL process and can see the faults caused by the OSB. The same faults are also generated when binding to the OSB's endpoint with SOAPUI, but not when going directly to the SOA suite's endpoint. The error is the following:
    oracle.j2ee.ws.saaj.soap.SOAPVersionMismatchException: Mime Header Content-Type: text/xml requires SOAP envelope namespace: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/: Mime Header Content-Type: text/xml requires SOAP envelope namespace: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/
    And the payload sent shows as empty.
    So to my best uneducated guess, it looks like the OSB wraps the payload in an envelope, and then unwraps it before handing it to the SOA suite, which expects the payload to be wrapped. Sadly, I'm still pretty new to the wsdl/webservice/oracle world, so I'm not even sure if that's an accurate representation. Any insight on what might be happening or how to get OSB to talk with SOA suite correctly would be greatly appreciated. Included below are the XML payloads I've used (minus a bit for confidentiality reasons). Apologies if the formatting doesn't work so nice for it.

    Problem solved. When I originally created my business service inside of OSB, I created it based off an endpoint provided by the SOA server. Instead, I went and did a mass import from a url, pointed it at the SOA server wsdl, and then built the web service off of that wsdl resource in the OSB. Now it works like a charm.

    Hi. I made another account for I can't email address in my profile.
    I found that my problem is cluster specific problem. JDeveloper's default configuration works with clustered BPEL engines for simple processes that have no human tasks. But human-task-included processes are deployed without task forms with the same errors you'd had.
    I found a work-around for it. I changed build.properties in the project for cluster configuration as below,
    platform = ias_10g
    domain = default
    rev = 1.1
    admin.user = oc4jadmin
    admin.password = welcome1
    http.hostname = the_server_address
    http.port = 7779
    cluster = true
    j2ee.hostname = the_server_address
    rmi.port = 23791
    opmn.requestport = 6004
    oc4jinstancename = default_group
    And, yes, Ant would definitely be an answer for it, too.
    Thank you for your reply,
    Joon.
