Soalris can detect printer forworded form Sun Ray DTU

Dear all ,
i need some help on the blow please:
environment brief:
i have VM cluster of 8 Servers sun blade 6240 , over this pool of servers there is Virtually 4 VDI 3.0/SRS4.1 servers and pool of windows XP virtual machines , and around 70 Sun Ray 270 DTUs.
all the VDI/SRS servers are Solaris 10 10/08 Generic_139556-08 i86pc i386 i86pc
i wanted to configure USB HP LaserJet 2300 Series PCL 6 printer connected to one of the DTUs ,
So i did the following :
on solaris
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p hp14 /tmp/SUNWut/units/IEEE802.<DTU MAC Addres>/dev/printers/Hewlett-Packard00DP3087F
/usr/bin/enable hp14
/user/sbin/accept hp14
then to connect the printer to windows
/opt/SUWuttsc/bin/uttsc -r printer:hp14="HP LaserJet 2300 Serise PCL 6"
the problem is the following the printer gets defined in windows and windows sends the request to the Solaris Sunray server nicely but i cant print .
the problem in solaris i cant make solaris print any thing on the printer
in etc/lp/hp14 i found the follwoing the faultMessege file :
Failed to open the printer port. (No such device)
also when i try to add the printer from the Solaris print manger it adds it successfully but when i double click on it to show its properties it show the printer port is empty even thwo it exists in the lp/etc/hp14/configuration file and when try to change the printer type for example it give java null point exception.
i tried another printer diffrent model but it is still the same error message
i appreciate any help with this.

I can't print the form correctly in Russian

Hello I have paid account for FormsCentral. Some of my forms are in Russian. I can create forms, my clients can fill in the forms and I can view the responses on the screen without any problem. But when I try print response or transform in in pdf I get page without Russian letters (only ??????? symbols). Can I solve this problem?

I can print Russian text without any problem from other apps on my computer (Word, Exel etc). Ok. I'll try from other computer once again, if you think that problem can be in my computer

It still prints well for me from Chrome on Win XP. Are you able to print out Russian text from apps other than FormsCentral, such as MS Word, other web sites in Chrome or other browsers?

Determine Sun Ray DTU model in a shell script

I have a need to identify the Sun Ray DTU model in a shell script. In particular, I need to distinquish a Sun Ray DTU from an OVDC instance. I'm collecting location information from the user and I don't care about OVDC so I want to not as the question in that case.

You can try utdesktop -Lc or -Lg, and if any come up with a MAC address
starting with 00144f, then it's very very likely to be a Sun Ray 2/2FS/270.
It's possible other units will register as that, but we haven't seen any
here. Not a surefire way to say, but it might be good enough.
Even better, you can do a
/opt/SUNWut/sbin/utfwload -Ha
on each of your SRSS and see a similar output like:
DISP User IP Address Model.Mac Firmware Version
11.0 ???? x.x.x.x P8-FS.00144fa80ef3 GUI4.2_77_2009.10.19.17.01

As you can see you will see a "P8-FS" and "P8" in the "Model.Mac" number
output. "P8-FS" does of course point at the 2FS models while the simple
"P8" standards for a normal SunRay2 station.

How can I redirect USB from Sun ray to Win2003 terminal server

I am running Sun Ray 4.2 in Solaris with SRWC 2.2 in a Kiosk mod to Windows terminal server 2003 , how can I allow users to use their USB divices from Sun Ray and appear automatically in their Windows desktop ..I try adding the following line to mikioskhdlr_win script
UTTSCPARMS="-m -b -A 24 -r sound:high" - r disk:M=/tmp/SUNWut/mnt/$USER
but it did not work .. please help

If you are using the USB Drive Daemon or manually specifying the mount then there are no issues with user access. That's only an issue with the the built in USB pass through included with SRSS 5 which is connecting directly to Windows and in essence the physical machine. The former is just mounting a network drive which is user specific.

Sorry it is not possible to print all pages of a HTML form. People would have to print each pages individually as they are filling the form.
You might concider distributing the PDF form instead of the HMTL form
Click on the "Distribute Tab - > Save Submission-enabled PDF" button
The filler could then use the free Acrobat Reader to fill-out the form, submit the data back to you and print it.

The print command will print a screen capture of the Form as you see it. It will NOT print all the records if some of them are not shown (you have n number of records that the query returned but only 20 of them are currently displayed on the Form, the print command will only show the 20). If you need to print all n records that query returned, you need to have a Report that you call from your Form.

How can i print a form off and for it to look exactly how it looks on the web

I have just labelled my "SUBMIT" button as "PRINT FORM" as the form I have created is a Delivery and Packing Note and I need to share this with the production department so that they can fill out the relevant details at the time of packing, hit the print button and hand it to the driver who will then basically hand the printed version over to the buyer for them to check the delivery and sign for it in the field space provided. That is my desire but, there does not seem to be an option within the form creation suite to allow for this sort of printing preference.
Am I missing something? Please help.@

I use a fm L_TO_CREATE_DN and this fm print a sapscript. I see tha I can send the name of print but I can't send the tput Immediately. When I execute the fm the form don't print and it keep in the spool. Can I make anything to obligate to print inmediately?

Adobe forms -Can we print multiple forms?

Right now my form has an ability to display a single Order with single Header & line items.
Hi,
I want to enhance the functionality to multiple forms prints.I mean I will be having multiple headers and l ine items.
I can fill my internal tables with multiple records data but what are the other form changes should i take care( hierarchy, data, etc...)
In smartforms I was able to do this because there we can define loops.How do we handle it here in adobe forms?
FYI.. I am filling internal table through WD application.Should I do Some context level changes?
Also,
In Dev environment I can see my Bold objects but when i move it to QA they are disappearing & font is also changing.What could be the reason?
