SOAP messages not visible in RWB - Message Monitoring - Adapter Engine

Hi,
following scenario:
ERP is sending IDocs to PI.
Within PI an integration process sends the IDoc data through a SOAP (WS) receiver channel to a system far far away.
In RWB -> Communication Channel Monitoring I can see all delivered messages selecting my SOAP channel.
But:
I can´t see the SOAP messages in RWB -> Message Monitoring -> Messages of Adapter Engine.
In RWB -> Message Monitoring -> Messages of Integration Engine I only see SOAP messages with status "Error".
Successful column is empty.
Do I have to adjust some system / monitoring parameters also seeing SOAP messages in RWB->Message Monitoring?
Thanks in advance,
André

Hi Ravi,
thanks.
But there are thousands of successful messages delivered to the receiver.
These successful messages can only be seen in the Channel Monitoring.
I can´t find these successful messages in Message Monitoring.
Only some with status "Error" are displayed.
Strange...
Cheers,
André

    Hi Experts,
There is an issue where messages are visible at ABAP Stack(SXMB_MONI).But same messages are not visible at RWB Message monitoring Integration server(IE and AE) Level.
Previously adapter status for this scenarios was Inactive in integration directory we taught this could be the issue and made adapter status active in Integration Directory. This did not solve the issue.
When payload is taken and processed from test message tab under RWB-Component monitoring-Integration Engine.
Messages are visible in RWB Message monitoring.
Experts could you please help in finding out what could be the issue,Please let me know if any additional information is required,

Check if you have chosen the Status filter as ALL and not "Error".
If you are loking for old messages, then you will not be able to see succesful messages beyond a particular period in the past, since all the succesful messages would have been archived.
To see such messages, you have to choose, the option, show message from "Archive" and not "Database".

  • RWB-Mesg Monitoring-Adapter Engine-Message Retention is only 1or2 days

    Hello Experts,
I have a an Integrated Scenario, SOAP to RFC, in my landscape. As you know I can only monitor messages for an Integrated Scenario in Runtime Workbench -> Message Monitoring -> Adapter Engine. So, when I find my message related to the Integrated Scenario and click on "Message Details" I am not able to view the payload for any of these messages. I am sure there is somewhere on the Java stack flip the switch to view payload but not sure where. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!!

    Please follow steps as below...
    1. Open http://server.domain.ext:5XX00/dir/start/index.jsp (Please modify according to your server name, domain URL and Port)
    2. Navigate and open Runtime Workbench after you log on
    3. Navigate and open Message Monitoring
    4. Select appropriate Messages from Component: and From

    Hi ,
In the Runtime work bench component monitoring  if we click on adapter engine we get two tabls

Ping Status: HTTP request failed. Error code: "404". Error message: "Not Found [http://lYYYY:ZZZZ/AdapterFramework/rtc]" Last Retry Jan 26, 2011 2:03:05 PM CET ... Details

    Hi Sandeep,
Besides updating the patch level to the latest and ensure the SP are in the same level, the notes I would recommend would be:
#1285224 - Http 404 error in details display for Adapter Engine
#804124 - HTTP communication with XI Adapter Engine fails (this one you have already mentioned)
    Hope it helps too

After we install an Additional Application Server Instance, we are facing an issue with the Runtime Workbench, specifically with the Adapter Engine status.
On the RWB we're have this error:

All the time it's pointing to the Additional AS with the Primary AS Java Port.
We are using a central SLD in PIP system.
We already reviewed, the point 8.12 of the "SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1 Including SAP EHP 1 - Troubleshooting Guide"
    Any idea to solve this?

    just try with these:
SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Specific Configuration
    Create entries:

    RUNTIME TRACE_LEVEL 3
also check with <a href="http://Unable to see any message in sxmb_moni.">this thread</a>

    Hi All,
Communication channel created in the directory is not visible in
Communication channel monitoring of RWB. I refresh ABAP cache, SXI_CACHE,
CPA cache. Still its not visible. Deleted and created again. Still no use.
None of the communication channels newly created are visible in RWB. Could anyone suggest some ideas to resolve this issue.

    Hi
Just to be sure a basic question to start with : You do activate your channels in the ID after creation ?

  • Communication channel not visible in RWB

    Hello everyone,
I am not able to view the communication channel in RWB. This is a HTTP sender . i have imported it but still it is not visible in  RWB. what could be the reason ?
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
In PI there are basically two types of adapter, adapter engine based and Integration engine based. Integration engine based adapters are HTTP, XI and IDOC. These adapters can be monitored from ABAP stack means from SXI_MONITOR and adapter engine based can be monitored from RWB. Due to this differentiation you HTTP adatper is not visitble in RWB. But you can monitor it from ABAP stack.

  • RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines = none ???

    Hi.
I made a Business System in SLD.
    Name: DEV_410
    Role: Application System
Related Integration Server: XHD_100       (XI Server)
Technical System: DEV on dev60           (type: Web AS ABAP)
    Client: 410 of DEV
    Logical System Name: HMXDEV410
But I cant see the business system in RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines. There shoud be 'Proxy Runtime DEV_410' in Integration Engines, I think.
Is there any wrong in SLD or RWB?
    Thanks in advance.
    sjyoon.

    Hi
Go to SLD select your business system :DEV_410
And check the following entries for your business system
    Role:   Application Server
Related Integration Server : (Check if this value correctly configured to your Integration Server client)
If this configuration is correct, this means XIRWBUSER is able to connect to the proxy runtime of application systems(DEV_410). Then there will be no entries displayed under RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines in RWB.( that is how my RWB component monitoring is configured)
Only error entries are displayed under RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines in RWB. Say for example XIRWBUSER is not able to connect to the proxy runtime of application systems(DEV_410). Then you see a entry in RED below your RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines

  • Component monitoring - adapter engine error, but no channel in error actual

    Hi,
We have a problem in displaying a status of Adapter Engine in RWB. In component monitoring there's a red light and the status - "Are communication channels without errors?" says there's an communication channel in error. But when I click the Communication channel monitoring, everything's green there. Yes, there was an error before, but it's ok now. Why is the AE item in Component monitoring still red? How to make it to reflect the current status?
    Thank you,
    Olian

    Hi Olian,
i am saying to use the cache connectivity test button option from RWB -> compnent monitoring , so have you done cache test using this? if yes, click on refresh display to see the latest adapter engine status..............if it is green, then it is okay..............but if it is red here, it means some comm channel is erroring sometimes - i guess it can be a file adapter using ftp or some rfc adapter......................
if it is green here and compnent monitoring - adapter engine status is red because some comm channel errored in past.........then i think some cache is not getting refreshed - i do not know exactly how to rectify it...........but i can tell you some workaround for it..............the comm channel which was erroring just stop it from comm channel monitoring........then close RWB and again open it and see compnent monitoring - adapter engine status again in it - i think it should be green now.......or  try by changing any comm channel description data in ID and save and activate it.........then again check your compnent monitoring - adapter engine status..................but dont worry i think this is a temporary problem
