SOAP - PI- R/3 RFC Scenario RFC parameters are not comming

Hi Experts,
I created one scenario as SOAP ->PI 7.1 -> R/3 RFC call.
When I am testing this scenario Backend RFC is getting called but somehow RFC parameters are coming as blank. In XSMB_MONI it is creating two messages as successful one with correct payload. But when I put debug code at the start of RFC , it is going to the debug code and input parameter values are showing as empty. Please tell me where can I check?

Hi Siva,
Please check in the SXMB_MONI of the receiver SAP System.
If the parameters are getting populated here then it must be passed to the RFC.
Make sure you have imported the RFC from the receiver system itself.

I faced the same problem and solved it ,
You have defined a reference parameter for a remotely called
function module. However, only value parameters are allowed
for this type of module.
Procedure
Change the reference parameter to a value parameter.
Guys pls .don't leave the thread un-asnwered when you solved problem , post the solution it might be useful for others also.

SSRS,MDX- Passed parameters are not hitting the main query in Dataset

I have created a SSRS report which has to accept two parameters i.e., store name, Date(to show sales on particular date) in report. which are working fine for me. but, those passed parameters are not hitting the main query in main Dataset. what ever i
pass in parameters, it is displaying all the rows(every city values). i think i am not correct in creating the statement in Main dataset query, to receive those 2 parameters into the main query. can anybody please help me how to create the statement
in main date set to display the results for the exact parameter i am passing(which has to be in MDX).

According to your description, you want to use parameter in the report, then after parameter values are selected, corresponding data will be displayed in the report. But the parameters do not work and all the rows are displayed.
To pass parameter to main report dataset, we need to define parameter for MDX query and assign parameter name same as SSRS report parameter. For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
Create a Dataset to retrieve data for Store name parameter.
Create Store name parameter, type name and prompt, set Date type to Text, check Allow multiple values check box, then select get values from the dataset.
Create a Dataset for Date parameter.
Create Date parameter, type name and prompt, set Date type to Date/Time, then select get values from the dataset.
Create a new dataset used to retrieve data for the report, add statement like below to the mdx query: {STRTOMEMBER(@Date)} * {STRTOSET (@Store_name)}.
In Query Designer pane, click Query Parameters and assign parameter name same as SSRS report parameter.

Some parameters are not shown in parameter dialog

Hello,
I created a VB.NET program using VS2005 sample.
When the program refers to CR10's DLLs (VS2005 bundle),
it prompts all parameters correctly.
But when the program refers to CR12's DLLs, some parameters are not prompted.
I installed merge module 12.2.
I also checked CR11 (merge module 11.5) and found the result is equal to CS12.

One of major customization steps for the order type is missing. Run OPU3 and maintain settings for the order type you are using. You may copy settings from an older type.

But same code it is works in IE browser, but not working after deployed in Oracle Portal Environment.

I make some tests and it appeared that it's only the output parameter which is not passed through the step (why ?).
I get this output parameter by a post-running action which parse the joblog and retrieve the sequence number at the line with the pattern "vendor" (hereunder) :

Exits with parameters are not displaying in CO Substitution

Hi there...
I am having this problem...I´ve created a CO substitution following all the steps involved, works fine when I define the parameter:
exits-param = c_exit_param_none in form GET_EXIT_TITLES
The transaction code OKC9 displays the exit with the field:
parameters = "No change"
but when I changed the parameters in my exit for use parameters:
exits-param = c_exit_param_field
After the activating and generating with RGUGBR00, the exit doesn´t display in exits availables in OKC9 in fact all the exits with using parameters are not displaying in OKC9.
What am I doing wrong here?

During Hiring activity in IT0002 after entering all the fields, while saving i got a warning message - parameters are not created in M0001 feature. Please give me your views & answers why i got this message.

create a structure till Personal Area and enter **** unless you want to maintain Administrator group in here.

We have recently installed IDES IS-H 6.04 - HEALTH CARE. In the SAP easy access menu when I go to Hospital>>Basic data administration>>Hospital structure>>Organizational Structure>>Organizational Unit>>Create it throws the following error message
"Control parameters are not maintained in the current client"
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I can't move ahead without getting to create an OU.

Are you starting from scratch?
Was the client created after the activation of IS-H?
For new installation I always recommend to activate the industry solution in client 000 and then to create the new clients as copy of 000. It will bring you the configuration of the Institution 0001. If not, it's very hard to do all the customizing, specially the SD ones.
It seams that you have nothing configured, try to do the copy, if not, probably an entry in transaction ON05 is missing.

I have created scripted calculation view
I can add parameter in aforesaid calculation view
It fetches me right result
But when I am to call aforesaid calculation view from odata service I am getting following error:
ERROR      zcustsearch/services/AutoComplete.xsodata
           Parameters are not allowed for entity "calculationView" as it is not a calculation or analytical view.

Don't reference it via the catalog object. Otherwise only the runtime Column View will be seen. Instead you should specific the view as the repository object. This means no schema and use package path::view name. Like this example from the SHINE content:

File-to-RFC Scenario Table Param are empty

I create a file adapter to rfc adapter scenario. Thereto I implemented a RFC in SAP which has only a table param. Furthemore I mapped the XML-File, that will be read by the File Adapter sender, to the SAP RFC Table structure. However the scenario works in PI, that mean the xml file will be read by the file adapter and will be send to the RFC Adapter receiver which makes a rfc call to the SAP destination. However my rfc function in the SAP destination will be called, but the table param is empty. Hereto I call the statement in my rfc function:
if MORDERNOTIFY is not initial . I do not know what the reason is that the table param is empty? I also checked in the runtime workbench of the PI system and there is no error in the communication channels, the message will be send correctly, here is also an example message of the table structure:

The SXMB_MONI also shows that everything is ok. I assume that there is a problem by mapping RFC-XML to binary RFC. I do not know what the reason is why the table above is empty sended to my system.

open the u r Funtional Module in Se37
And click on the Source Tab.
On the top menu : near "Patterns" u can see two kinds of Break point.
Break point with a Head on it is external break point
click on it , it wud be valid for 2 hrs.
hope u have kept u r file in test mode , once u r Adapter picks file u can see u reach u r external brk point.
Note: Donot make this break piont to be long time , because u can see Some JCO connection error in u r RWB , which is normal )

Parameters are not shown properly

Hello,
I'm having an issue with the report's parameters when they are displayed in Internet Explorer.
The report was done with reporting services, but it's published in Sharepoint. When I open the report using the Sharepoint URL, the report's parameters are shown vertically, instead of horizontally. And the last parameter is being cut off, hidden under Internet
Explorer's status bar.
If I open the same report in Firefox, the parameter is displayed properly since scroll bars appear in all the parameters area, allowing me to scroll down and see the parameter's content.
Is there any way to fix the parameter's length so that it's displayed properly in Internet Explorer. I noticed that there is a resize box at the end of the parameter, but I can't find a way to have control over it.
Any help will be appreciated.

By default, the parameters are shown vertically in the Parameters pane which is located on the right of the report page in SharePoint Library. If there are many parameters in the report, there would be a scroll bar to enable you scroll down the last parameter.
In your scenario, it seems that the Parameter pane is not shown property in the IE browser. To fix this issue, here are two suggestions for your reference:
Please try to run IE in compatibility mode and run it as Administrator to check the issue again.
Considering the aspects of the setting or third party add-ons of Internet Explorer (IE). For more details, please see:
1. Click Tools -> Internet options.
2. Switch to the Security tab, click Local intranet, and then select Default level.
3. Switch to the Advanced tab, and click Restore advanced settings.
4. Temporarily disable third party add-ons. For detailed steps, please see the link:

CPS parameters are not getting updated in SAP

We have recently migrated our SAP and CPs servers, after that we are facing few CPS issues and it is affecting lot of key batch jobs. One typical example is given below.
CPS is supposed to trigger a job DD simulation, by copying the SOURCE_DATE_ID -1-Dec-2006 and modifies the parameters BUDAT and FAEDA_HIGH. The parameter FAEDA_HIGH is calculated as time.now()+ 5 working days as defined in the expression. When we try to run the job today with the date 24 Dec 2010, CPS has calculated the FAEDS_HIGH correctly as 2-Jan-2011. IN SAP the variant gets created but for the field FAEDA_HIGH the date value is not getting updated properly it is display some other date. (e.g) It is showing as 4-jan-2011, I removed the xpression and gave another date for the FAEDA_HIGH field as 10/01/2011, but in SAP it is not getting updated.
Has anyone faced similar kind of issue. share you experience

Since we have taken backup and restored the SAP Database, the CPs transport file already exists in the System.
Basically what happens is
So actually what is happening is, the CPS parameter FAEDS_HIGH expressions are not used for due date calculation.. CPS just copies the source date-id to target id and similarly for the due date based on the difference
source_id variant date 01-12-2006   due date 02-12-2006 ( Next day)
Target_id Variant date 25-12-2010 due date 26-12-21010 ( Next Day)
I tried changing the Source date id from 01-12-2006 to 24-12-2010.
Source Variant date 24-12-2010   due date 04-01-2011 ( 10 Days)
Target Variant date 25-12-2010 due date 05-01-2011 ( 10 Days)
