Soasuite upgrade with patch for 10.1.3.3.0 (windows) - BPEL vanishes

I applied the 10.1.3.3.0 patch to my existing SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0.
the BPEL Console and Rules Author go missing.
Is there anyone who has experienced this??
if YES, can those fortunate plz lemme know what was done to set this right...

After a digging into this for almost a day, i finally cracked this..
The problem arose becuase of a space in my path entry.
eg. c:\Program Files\qt
I removed such entries from the path and installing all over again, it worked.

Has Apple come out with patch for iPhone-Bluetooth connection problem?

I have a Mini Cooper with Bluetooth compatibility and it was compatible with my iPhone for a couple of months, but I have found out that it only syncs up with iPhone software versions of 2.0 or 2.0.1. It seems that when I downloaded tunes on my iPhone from iTunes, it automatically "upgraded" my software on my iPhone to 2.0.2, which now makes it imcompatible with my Mini's bluetooth. Has Apple come out with the patch for this problem yet? I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem. If Apple doesn't advertise the patch for this pretty soon, I'll be blogging for help on this throughout the Internet. I have called Apple....they have put me on eternal hold and still have not given me a positive answer on this dilemma. Apparently the "senior" software guys haven't gotten the word on this coming problem for them. Needless to say my frustration is to the point of chucking this attractive nuisance into the river and going back to a less sophisticated form of communication. Anyone have any information on this? You can send feedback to Apple regarding your issue with the Mini - http://apple.com/feedback . You could also contact Mini and see if they are working on a patch for their bluetooth.
I haven't had the fuzzy picture issue except when my hand shakes while taking a picture. There will never be a perfect update where no one has a problem. If you wait for the perfect update, you'll never update any electronic device.

To upgrade from Security Manager 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, or 4.5, you do not need to apply any licenses. Your existing license is valid.

Problem with driver for ipod nano 2nd gen on windows xp

Every time i plug my ipod into my computer i get a message saying that theres a problem with the driver for an unknown usb device.

I tried that but it didnt do anything my ipod comes up as unknown device in the device manager and thats the only place it shows up no where else

I notice there is a patch available for oracle database 10.1.0.4,which is my current database version and the server is window 2003. (patch number 5695771 )
The README document said that it will fix the following bugs:

5694717 - EFFORT REPRESENTATIVE BUG FOR 10.1.0.4 FOR CPUJAN2007
4402255 - SPECIFIC QUERY VIA DB-LINK IN DAILY BATCH JOB HANG
I can't find any information about this ' EFFORT REPRESENTATIVE BUG ' in metlink, and I know we are not using any db link to run batch job...
Can any one tell me that if I just assume that is patch is irrelevant to my situation and do not apply it, will there be any potential danger? or what's other benefit if I apply it?

5695771 is the January 2007 Critical Patch Update (CPU). Oracle strongly recommends the application of the CPU patches. You can raise an SR on Metalink to find more information about the items in the CPU.

Clusterware patch for 10.2.0.4

Will there be any separate patch to upgrade oracle clusterware from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.4....
why because we installed oracle clusterware 10.2.0.1 and Oracle RAC database 10.2.0.1 and upgraded with patch 10.2.0.4.....which upgraded both clusterware and database to 10.2.0.4
Now due to some problems clusterware got crashed and we installed new clusterware 10.2.0.1 and need to upgrade clusterware to 10.2.0.4 with out touching the Oracle RAC database which is already upgraded to 10.2.0.4...

there is no separated patch... you must use the patch that you alredy download.
when you starts the OUI you need to specify the ORACLE_HOME of the clusterware. doing that the installation of the database is not touched.

A problem with Client Security Solution patch for Mozilla Firefox3

After I updated Client Security Solution to 8.20, the password manager cannot work in FF3 again.When I tried to reinstall the patch, it asked me whether to overwrite the files or cancel. Then it indicates 'This patch has already been installed on this computer', but the problem exsits.

As much as I would like to upgrade to FF3, I have not had any success in either using the manual configuration changes noted in the above thread or by using the CSS Patch for FF3 provided by Lenovo on 8/6/08 found here:

This patch appears to duplicate the manual efforts provided by member KTP in message 12 in the above provided link from what I can see.
I have never had an issue using the TV password manager and IE7. It is a very reliable combination.
I have no issues at all using FF 2.0.0.16, CSS 8.1 or 8.2 (now on 8.2), and Thinkvantage (TV) Password Manager 3.00.0106.00 (came with CSS 8.2). I have never had Lenovo Password Manager on my T60. Everything works reliably well with this combination.
In 3 hours of work yesterday, I was able to get TV Password Manager to show up in the FF3 add-ons as TV Password Manager 3.01 and this is the only way I was able to make it work, but only for a single browser session:
1. Tools --> Add-Ons
2. Disable TV Password Manager, then restart FF3
3. Tools --> Add-Ons
4. Enable TV Password Manager, then restart FF3
5. TV Password Manager will work for the duration that I am using the browser session
Once I close FF3 and reopen it, TV Password Manager no longer works. The only method I have found to "reset" everything is to perform the above sequence, but again it only works for the single browser session. It is very consistent. Although in does not show this in the Add-Ons page, it almost appears that the TV Password Manager add-on is disabled after I close the browser and needs to be manually disabled then enabled as noted above. If this is due to a conflict with other software on my laptop, I have not been able to determine this.
In my efforts yesterday, I spent time uninstalling CSS 8.1 or 8.2, FF, and even removed registry entries related to these packages in order to start with a fresh install, all without any success. I tried fresh installations and added the manual changes promoted by KTP and also tried fresh installations using the Lenovo patches, all without success. I made attempts to troubleshoot to root cause by removing all add-ons except TV Password Manager, and also tried preventing certain software from installing at startup via msconfig, as well as multiple settings changes within FF3, all to no avail. Again FF 2.0.0.16 continues to work very well with little effort on my part. I simply install the software and ensure that TV Password Manager 2.0 in installed in the add-ons and that's it.
In the above FF3 thread, it appears that others have had success with KTP's changes so I am a little frustrated that I cannot make FF3 and TV Password Manager work reliably. I have FF2 and IE7 working so I have plenty of good alternatives at this time. I will post this at the FF3 above as well to see if anyone has any feedback.

I am not getting the support pack SAPKINBC9A on OSS. Am i searching right patch or do i need to implement some other patch for this.

Just one thing though...If you apply the Planning 9.3.1.11 patch, dont forget to patch the AAS console on each client machine too or you will have problems executing HBRs from client machines.
In the AAS console if you go to help - about, the AAS and HBR version on client machine must be the same as on the server.
The documentation is not very clear.
Likewise if you apply BI+ 9.3.1.2 (Financial Reporting), after you ve applied the patch on the server, you will need to copy the BIPlus/lib/HReports.jar file from the server and paste in the same folder on every machine where the FR Studio is installed.

I am following the note Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 Readme 1080973.1 and applying the patches "Forms and Reports for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 Document 437878.1"
I am not clear whether I need to apply the Patch 8919489 - R12.TXK.B.Delta.3 before applying any other oneoff patches, this patch seems to be included in R12.1.3 and I am applying these patches of R12.1.13 upgrade

Error with a copy function after upgrading to patch 18 on the server

Hi experts,
I had the following error when I try to execute with trace in RSPLAN a copy function that was right and functioning over a workbook before upgrading to patch 18 in the server:
'Char. value of 0COSTELMNT does not correspond to value of block char. 623004'
The functions seems to be right also when I check the values but the error message is still there and over the workbook Copy function button.

Technically, Oracle supports Oracle XE through that forum. At least that was the policy as I knew it a while ago.
With installation issues for XE and the like it's probably better to just post it there. Obviously a grey area and you may well get a hit or two here, but I think you should post these kinds of questions on the XE forum.
When it comes to Apex development questions you can definitely post them here. I know, I know, it really is a pain! But you want to post where you have the best chance of getting good help.

Special Patch for 10.2 in order to do an rman restore upgrade to 11gR2

Am about to start on the 11gR2 upgrade process and was talking with some dba-friends in other companies to learn what not to do , etc. I had mentioned that I wanted to do an RMAN restore then alter resetlogs upgrade and let the upgrade process automatically take me to 11gR2. He mentioned that he had tried that but had run into an rman error when 10g did not have some table in the data dictionary, but there should be a patch for that. Essentially he said the patch would put the pre-11g table needed for an rman restore upgrade. He didnt have the information available and has yet to get back to me, and I have searched metalink looking for it with no luck.
Has anyone else hit this error and could provide either the metalink article, however , better the patch number i need. I will be going from 10.2.0.3 to 11gR2 via an rman restore to a remote system and then issuing an alter ....resetlogs upgrade command.

Hi All,
After installation of R12.1.1, upgraded with 12.1.3 patches then accessing the login page after entering the userid and password I am getting FRM-92101 error "There was a failure in the form server, please check your configuration".
I am unable to open a form in the application. My environment is:
OS = Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 (64-bit)
Application = R12.1.3 (VIS)
Client = Laptop having Windows 7 and IE 8, and have already disabled XSS filter.
But still not success, Kindly help so that I can start my training on this server.

We are on BIW 3.5 .Iam not clear about how to check the version of IGS and its patch level .I went through various notes but still iam confused with tracing it , can someone plz help out?
Secondly want to upgrade IGS version i went through note 454042 but still confused with doing that , Can someone plz refer other notes or detailed procedure for upgrading IGS.
Our BIW Production and Test are on AIX and Development is on HP-Unix OS .
