Hi, virukumar. Please refer to the response of @Kakuno concerning the Social app. What Social app do you wish to have on your phone? Facebook? Twitter? You can visit the Store for the apps: http://store.ovi.com/#/applications?categoryId=21.

Did you update the application before it disappeared. If yes you will find it in the games & collection folder of the phone.
@Khanjan_701Asha 302 is a s40 phone so Netquinn apps will work on it.

Social app refuses to launch

The social app in my nokia asha 202 refuses to launch. Each time I try it responds " invalid application - delete? ". Pls how do I restore it ?

Have you checked if there is an update for the social app on your phone or available software update for your device? If not then visit the link http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/belle-asha-symbian-software-update/ and check the instructions for updating the application or software of the phone. Before doing so, take a back up first of the files from your phone to your PC using Nokia Suite to avoid data loss.
If there is no update, you may re-install the software of the device by the following instructions below:
Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable and launch Nokia Suite.
Once your phone is already recognised by Nokia Suite, click on Tools tab.
Select Software Update then look for the "reinstall" button.

Asha 302, Communication Error :Facebook, Email App...

Hello.
I got Asha 302 recently and have hard time setting up config for "packet data".
Web browsing using packet data works, but Facebook and email apps don't work
I input right information of my service provider.
After I input info in "Access Point Setting", I set "Use preferred access pt" > "Yes".
But it doesn't come up on "Preferred access point". it's Empty
I set Personal Setting as Default.
I tried many times but it's always "Empty". why?????????
Please Help...!!!

Are you referring to the built in Social application? Why did you delete the application? Are you having issue with it? You can visit the Nokia Store using your mobile phone and then search for the Social application. Just make sure that you have a stable internet connection so you can download and install it on your device.

Whatsapp and mxit work on mine now. I updated the phones software version , but wechat and viber stil do that ting of opening and closing

No Social App on Asha 303

I've bought a new Asha 303 about 2 month ago and started working with it but there's a problem. There is no Social app in Apps and games and there's no widget for it(there must be one according to userguide and specifications). I've restored it 2 times and updated to 14.60 version and 2 times reinstalled it but no result.

How to remove Asha 303 Social app

I've only had my Asha 303 for about a week and the Social app is already corrupted. It has a shortcut in my home screen that just says "Waiting" all the time and I can't remove that either.
I'm not interested in fixing the app. I just want to remove it completely.

Please could you try to perform a soft reset on your device using the code *#7780# security code 12345 by default if prompted. It is best to create a back up on nokia suite before performing the soft reset, you will not lose any data however it will reset your device settings to factory conditions.
If it is still not working, please try and remove all your profiles from your social app, restart your device and re-sync them.

My C3-00 shows "Your message has been sent to ....". There is no way on the C3 to disable that. Turning off delivery reports is something completly different.
What I really want to know though is if the Asha 302 does this or not?

Things that you can try
Uninstall and re-install the applications
1. Go to Settings > Installations > Already installed > Tap and hold the application > Remove.
Restart your phone
1. Switch your phone off
2. Remove the battery.
3. After a few seconds, put the battery in and switch your phone on.
Reset the settings
Restore the original factory settings. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings > Settings only. If prompted for a lock code use 12345 unless changed. This will not delete any information on your phone but any personalization you've made will restore back to default.
Update the software
Make sure your phone is running the latest software. Use Nokia Suite to perform the software update, you can download the software on this link http://www.nokia.com/global/support/nokia-suite/

Hi, i just got this phone Asha 302, and I have 2 questions... The first one is, can I completely disable it from connecting to 3G, G, E, and all other provider internet connections, because it's building up my phone bill, I don't know what is it dowloading... I want it just to connect to WiFi, and only WiFi...
The second question is, is there a dropbox app or can I dowload files from dropbox in any way? I don't have the usb cable, i think it is not possible to connect direclty to my pc with it through WiFi, and I just need some files from my pc or is there any easier way to transfer the files without the cable... I don't have a memory card eather :/

Sorry for the late answer... But here's what I think You'd have to download it and delete it over and over... It's not stupid, I
don't get it either... I won't be installing it again, but it didn't
hurt my balance with gmail and other accounts when I logged on WiFi, and
deleted the accounts after using them ( it automatically saves accounts as
soon as you log in, and then checks for new mail and stuff if you don't
delete them, if I figured it out right). I guess it's the same with
whatsapp, but I didn't try it... You can try and see if it does affect your
balance while you use it on WiFi, it's logical to me that it doesn't, but
nothing here is logical, so you'll just have to try and see... I'm glad
I could help, I know how **bleep** off I was trying to figure this s*** out...
xD Way too complicated for such a simple thing, the part that annoys me the
most is the fact that you can't disable it from doing that in the phone
settings... -.- Try using whatsapp on WiFi and see if it works without
hurting your balance... Reply either way, I'm curious if it works...

My social apps in Nokia Asha 303 got corrupted and I cant find a download replacement. Aslo I'm not able to upgrade to a higher OS unlike other Asha models! Please help

Welcome to the Nokia forum.
You will be able to update or reinstall your phone's current software with Nokia Suite, which will reinstall pre installed applications and fix this issue for you.
Connect your phone to Nokia Suite and click on the green arrow icon where you can see all updates available for your particular device. Software updates only show up when they are available for your particular phone, so sometimes when you see an article online that an update is available, it won't necessarily be available for your region which is why it won't show up. Another reason can be that your operator needs to approve the update first, which can delay the update a little sometimes. As soon as an update will become available however it will show up under the green arrow icon in Nokia Suite so you will not miss out if an update is available for your device.
If no update is shown, please reinstall the current software. This option is displayed in blue. Updating or reinstalling the software will reinstall applications that come pre installed on the phone, such as the social app and will fix any issues you're having with the application. Before you perform a software update, don't forget to make a back up in Nokia Suite via Tools > Back up.
If you're having issues with paid applications from the Nokia Store, please delete the app off your phone and contact your local Care line who will be able to resend the app to your device so that you don't have to pay for it again. All you need is your Nokia Account name or your phone's IMEI, which you can find by entering *#06# into your phone.
Free apps can be redownloaded from the Nokia Store via the My Stuff section.
