  • Error while running User Profile Import - Stopped-extension-dll-load

    Hi guys,
I'm receiving below error message in event viewer while running user profile import for the first time with event ID 6166:
The management agent "MOSS-" failed on run profile "MOSS_EXPORT_". The run step stopped because a configured extension for this management agent could not be loaded.
    User Action
Verify that the extension is located in the Extensions directory. If the extension is present, confirm that the version of the .NET framework  that can run the extension is installed on the server and that a supportedRuntimes  entry in the configuration
files specifies that version. The synchronization  engine will not be able to load an extension that is built with a newer version  of the .NET framework than the version of the .NET runtime it is hosting.
At the same time , in miisclient "stopped-extension-dll-load" message for MOSS_EXPORT,MOSS_FULLSYNC, MOSS_DELTASYNC. Can any help to let me understand what will be causing this issue?
     Farm version: 14.0.6137.5000

    Hi Sarath,
For this issue, I recommend verify the things below:
Check if the connection name of the Synchronization Connections created in User Profile Service Application has more than 55 characters. If yes, please rename the connection with less than or equal to 55 characters.
Check if the length of the full path to the dll called “Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.ManagementAgent” is
greater than 160. If yes, then we can move the extension Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.ManagementAgent.dll to the folder c:\windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL and then do an IISRESET.
If above cannot work, please check ULS log for more detailed error message.

  • SSO - session time out while navigating across applications

    Hi,
    Problem statement
Handling session time out while navigating across applications involving SSO
    Current approach
    Application 1
    1. Create session1.
    2. URL rewrite the sesssion ID1 into the link refering to App2.
    Application 2
    1. Create session2
    2. Get the session Id of App1.
    3. send the session ID of App1 in the header
    4. Invalidate the session2
    Application 1
Get the ID from request and invoke getSession.
I'm having a very large session timeout at App1.
Is there a better approach. Ex: Having global session which is shared across multiple
    webapplications.

I have similiar problems in my system. What do you do if the session 1 times out

  • Program times out while looping at internal table with huge records - Needs fine tuning suggestions

    Hi,
I am trying to execute a report. It times out while looping at vbap internal table. This internal table has 140000  records and does the validation within this loop and geenrates data for the output. Due to this huge volume, the program times out when executed foreground.
There are no nested loops, so I cannot apply 'Parallel Cursor' here.
Is there any way I can fine tune the program so that it doesn't timeout? Is it possible to apply 'Parallel Processing' . If yes, how?
    Thanks,
    Pavan

    Hi Pavan ,
->sort your internal table by all primary key for vbap.
->Read a Record from the table (use your condition here)
->if record satisfys your where condition ,get that record index .
->loop the table from the index (without condition) .
its like parallel cursor only but for single loop .;-)
->use field symbols ,wherever possible .
if still dump is coming ,contact your basis team .
    regards,
    Krishna.

i got the same error but in my case, I used HTTPDispatcher and found that the URL parameter was invalid, so I changed it in the edgeserver.xml and restart, it's ok for me.

Can't tell you what's wrong with just this much of information. Take a look at this log file (as reported in the error message):
    D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\opmn\logs\OC4J~home~default_group~1
    And also:
    D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\j2ee\home\log\home_default_group_1\server.log
These two log files will give you bit more information to help diagnose the issue.
    Thanks

Hi i received the nano 7th gen for Christmas and I only seem to get 5 hours of battery life. I use the Bluetooth and Nike app so I expect more drain on the battery.  But I got more time out of running with my iPhone. Does this sound normal? I thought I should get close to 30 hrs of just play time alone.
ALso, my wife got me the Belkin armband to run with the nano but I sweat through the band resulting in the back of the iPod to get wet. Surely this is not good. Anyone have a recommendation for an armband that keeps moisture away from the pod?

iPod Nano are small and they don't use Wi-Fi access so you get less power time on a Nano. As for iPhone, since you got apps, Wi-Fi + 3G access, and everything else, they give you more time so you can keep using. Nanos are ment to listen to music, listen to radio, view your photos, watch videos (without Wi-Fi) and since you got BlueTooth on the nano, it counts as wireless access so it drains your battery faster.

  • HT4628 my powerbook g4 os x 10.5.8 leopard is showing-Connection time out while connecting to the wifi.however it showing all available wifi connections around but not connecting it..however ethernet is working

    Problem while connecting with Wi-Fi,
When i am connecting my powerbook g4 leopard  to any Wi-fi connection it showing -Connection time out, however Ethernet is working .I have updated all softwares but still same problem.

It's possible that either the internal AirPort Extreme card or the antenna is faulty or has failed.
One last thing to try before going with another Wi-Fi solutions is to the following:
Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
    1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced > AirPort tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
    1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
    1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced > AirPort tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
    2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
    Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)
    3. Run the Disk Utility to repair Disk Permissions.
Restart or log out then back in.
    4. Turn off the Mac OS X Firewall
System Preferences > Sharing > Firewall
    Click the "Stop" button.
    5. Create a New User Account
    System Preferences > Accounts
Click "+" to add a new account
Log off, then log back on with the new user account.
    Try connecting with the AirPort.
If none of these help resolve the issue, you may want to consider getting a USB wireless adapter to replace both the internal card and antenna. One such vendor of these adapters is Other World Computing (OWC).

  • System is showing time out when run in background

    Dear all,
We have two systems: One R/3 and EBP. We have made one report where the remote function module will be called from R/3 to EBP. There are 4 lakhs data in SAP. We are sending 10000 data as package in internal table and getting the corresponding output. But the system is showing time out when the report has run in background. Can you please suggest how the process can be improved so that the timeout can be avoided.
    Thanks and regards,
    Atanu

    Hi,
Try to fetch records in smaller chunks and process them.  For example, if you are trying to fetch records for one year, instead of single query, try to fetch in 12 sets for each month.  Fetch first month and process the records and put them in the output internal table.  Then go for next month and so on.  Anyway your program is running in background.  There will not be any user complaint also.  The solution might sound bit funny.  But it works.

  • 9iAS rel 2 SLOW and report times out when running !! HELP !

    Hello,
I have 9iAS installed on Win 2K machine SP 2.
I have done the BI install with the infrastructure in a separate home.
    I have 524K RAM.
EM is VERY SLOW (as per usual).
I have rebooted the server a few times - still slow.
When I try to run a report it times out just bringing up the parameter page !
If I try to kill the report I run into BUG 2544383 which is a fat lot of use ....
This 9iAS is absolute garbage - how can Oracle tell us to migrate our existing developer forms & reports to web-deployment from client server if this sort of performance is going on ? This is still in development - if this was a production machine this would be TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!
Does anyone from Oracle actually respond to these threads or are they too busy writing bugs for the next release of 9iAS ?
Seriously though, if anyone has some workarounds for these issues then please let me know.
    Thanks

We got aound the ADMN error by manually starting the components that were down in Infrastructure first then the ones in the BI instance all thru EM.
FYI Oracle said this to me about recommended h/w :
The Installation Guide for iAS sets the minimum requirements for installing iAS as:
    Infrastructure 512Mb RAM
Mid Tier install with 4 or more components 512 Mb RAM
Please remember that these are minimums only and are not the recommendations for anything larger than a small workgroup installation. The main points to remember are to install the OS on a seperate physical disk from the Applications and to have as much RAM as you can beyond the minumums. But even this approach has its limitations and so you may then have to consider different approachs to maximising scalablility. It is also not recommended to have the Infrastructure and Mid-tier installed on the same machine for larger systems as you are more likely to encounter resource limitations due to the different installations serving different purposes.
So we are going to go with your minimum 2 Gig with 7 gig swap file I think.
I think we may go for a 3-server setup.
one with Infrastructure and Portal on it.
The other 2 with BI installs on them with them probably running in some sort of cluster (either hardware or software cluster). All with 2 gig RAM.
I still don't know why somtimes my reports hang - I think it may possibly be BUG 2544383 which to me is a major issue as a lot of our reports are PDF as users print them out. But essentially it screws up the AS and invariably I have to either restart the WHOLE instance or reboot the server ! NOT very good for when I want to go Live with this !

  • Time out while subscribing to nfs:....

    Hi all,
I'm currently trying to etablish a cluster, at the moment only to try out, perhaps for some productive use later on.
But I wasn't successful yet and currently don't know what to try out.
    My system looks like:
    - 1 G5 with all the FinalCut tools installed. This mac is the cluster-boss.
    - 1 G5 wich should offer the services for the boss.
I mounted all the disks as the manual said, I created the cluster with the QAdministrator. I also changed the place for the cluster-memory to the main-harddisk.
But now it doesn't work. Each time I try to use the Compressor I get the error that my service-G5 had an "time-out" error while subscribing to my boss-G5.
In the Compressor.log on the service-G5 I get the following:
    03/05/2007 14:36:35.323: [263]: Subscribing to shared storage, url = "nfs://master.local/AC9B3E00-9DB9EE22/shared/", host = "media.local", path = "/var/spool/qmaster/AC9B3E00-9DB9EE22/shared"
Why does the Compressor use the path "/var/spool/qmaster/" although I changed it?
Any idea what could be wrong?

Make your life easy - configure the G5 as a quick cluster and be done with it. No need to have your main machine be a controller, it just complicates things in a 2 machine set up.
If you set up your G5 as a Quick Cluster, yu can just send jobs to it from your main machine's compressor...

  • Time out while login in any IC role

    Hi,
I need a help with a strange issue that occurred in my system.
Yesterday I was accessing it (a business role copy from the ICAGENT) that was working without any problem. I am in release 7.0.
I was making some screen configurations and now the business role doesn't upload... I get a time out. On the Internet explorer I see a yellow icon on the bottoom and if I double click to see details I get the message:
"document" is null or is not an object on:
    http://<server>:<port>/sap(====)/bc/bsp/sap/crmcmp_ic_frame/header_jscripts.js
    Any ideas???
    Regards.

    Just to update:
I found that the problem is related with our initial page that is called in our IC Profiles: ID: BPIDENT
Any idea what can be cause this error?!? The standard work center for Account identification stopped working here.
    Thanks.
