Soffice.bin-ordinal not found error

I have Star office 8 installed on Vista Home edition and have gotten the following msg:
The ordinal 397 could not be located in the dynamic link library svt680mi.dll.
Pls offer fix for the problem.
Thanks all.

I also have downloaded Star Office 8 from Google and installed on XP Home edition and have gotten the following msg:
The ordinal 397 could not be located in the dynamic link library svt680mi.dll.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks.

  • PSE 8 Editor - Ordinal Not Found Error

    Just this last weekend I have started getting an error message when trying to load the PSE8 Editor.The message reads:
    Owl Orphanage: PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe - Ordinal Not Found
    The ordinal 212 could not be located in the dynamic link library LTDIS13N.dll
    When I hit the OK button the load is cancelled. Last message in the loading window appears to be initialising Twain.. but it's obscured by the error window.
    The only change I've made recently was to load the drivers for a Dell 924 printer.
    I've tried regenerating the preferences file, re-installing the printer drivers, and have even uninstalled and re-installed PSE8.
    Anyone else come across this?

    Ah hah! Success!
    Once I'd determined it was likely to be a Twain problem I did a bit more searching on the forum here and came across this article (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2478768#2478768) that pointed me towards section 5 of John R. Ellis's most excellent troubleshooting guide (http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Troubleshooting_Editor_cra shes) which in turn pointed me towards this Adobe TechNote (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/408/kb408846.html) and the rest, as they say, is history.
    The TechNote refers to PSE6 but a quick search of my system located the Twain_32.8ba file lurking in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 8.0\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins\Import-Export folder. I renamed this and added a ~ to the start of the filename, reloaded PSE8Editor and all is now well!
    I don't need to be able to scan directly from with PSE8 so it's no hardship having this disabled.
    Hopefully this will save someone else a few hours head-scratching.

  • Bin/jre not found when I install 8.1.7

    Hi fellow,
    But the strange thing is, tried to install on two similar env, one can start the runInstaller but the other will warn me with "bin/jre not found" error and then exist. I found that the runInstaller should use the 8.1.7 built-in jre not the one of system. And I have confirmed that the "Disk1/stage/Component/oracle.swd.jre.../linux/bin/jre" was that can run-able. Did anyone here encountered this problem also?? Look forward for any advice! :-)

    I have the same problem If some one has the solution please email me.

  • Error on starting up b5783 - Ordinal not found - Ordinal 3288 not located

    When starting up build 5783, I always get this error:
    Ordinal Not Found - The ordinal 3288 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll
    With the previous build, b5440... this would happen rarely... Maybe once every thousand startups. I would just close and start up again, and I wouldn't get it.
    But with build 5783, it happens EACH and every time. SQL developer still seems to work fine, but how can we get rid of this or fix the problem?

    I am getting about the same problem.
    My OS version is :
    Windows XP Pro, version 5.1 build 2600.xpsp-sp2-gdr.050301-1519: service pack 2
    The only difference is the nummber of the ordinal that can not be found.
    The complete message I get is:
    "Kan de ordinaal 3873 niet vinden in DLL-bestand LIBEAY32.dll"
    (Can not find ordinal 3873 in DLL file LIBEAY32.dll)
    When I press enter, I can continue starting SQLdeveloper, but I don't know what the consequences of the error might be during my work.
    (I don't have connection to any database yet, so I can't try this).
    I found some topics in fora about removing all files LIBEAY32.dll, but then my virus program stops working.
    Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

  • "Owl Orphanage" error in Dreamweaver CS5 - ordinal not found

    About 3 weeks ago, I started getting this dialog box whenever I start Dreamweaver CS5:
    For the sake of search engines, it says
    Owl Orphanage: Dreamweaver.exe - Ordinal Not Found
    The ordinal 3712 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll.
    When I click the X or the OK button, the dialog goes away and pops up again immediately. When I click X or OK a second time, Dreamweaver starts normally.
    I just reinstalled Dreamweaver, and the problem persists. I haven't yet resorted to uninstalling all of CS5 and reinstalling it, but that's the next step.
    Can someone explain what's going on (including why I've been running Dreamweaver for years with no problems and then this suddenly starts happening), and is there a fix for this? Thank you.

    That's very good information to know - thank you. Unfortunately it doesn't help much since I'm at the mercy of AMD for graphics drivers. But at least I can report this to them, maybe they'll fix it.

  • Class not found error for applet.

    This is probally a really simple mistake but I've tried everything and can't find it.
    My applet works fine with applet viewer - I'm running it from JBuilder. But when I open my html file in the browser it gives me a 'Class not found' error. I've tried running other applets (my own and demos on this site) and they work fine.This is the applet tag code:
    <applet code = "Rotary.class" width = "650" height = "580" align = "top">
    <!-- coordinates of sectors -->
    <param name = "sector0" value ="234,215,244,207,154,43,125,63">
    </applet>
    The class file is in the same directory as the HTML file. Do I need to specify the codebase? I tried that too - giving it the full pathname of the class.
    In the Java console it said that it couldn't find "C:Project\Rotary\javax\swing\japplet"
    I don't think it could have anything to do with the fact that I'm using swing because the other applets I used used swing.
    Please help - I'm really running out of ideas here!

    You have a similar problem like I had.
    You seem to have a too old JAVA environment for the browser - I had a too new environment.
    For all who are experiencing the same problem!
    Problem:
    You're compiling your applets with a quiet modern compiler (i.e. Netbeans Version 3.5.1)
    You are able to compile your applets without any problems but if you try your applets in "real life", the browsers can't interpret your applets [class not found]. (I tested Internet Explorer 6.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.7)
    So you need a plugin for the new JAVA environment because the JAVA environment of the browser is older than that which the applet needs.
    Well, you have the choice to demand to every user of your applet to download the new Java Runtime Environment, but then don't wonder why nobody visits your site!
    But, don't worry: I figuered out another solution, that Netbeans (www.netbeans.org) allows to compile in different JAVA versions.
    Solution:
    What you have to do is:
    - Install a previous version of JDK (i.e. JDK 1.3 - I would suggest, lower versions don't work with Netbeans 3.5.1 and JDK 1.3 is enough for IE 6.0 and NN 4.7, which I tested)
    - Go into the "bin"-directory of Netbeans (i.e. c:/netbeans3.5.1/bin)
    - Open the file "ide.cfg" (with notepad or any other texteditor)
    - You see a line like: jdkhome "C:\java\j2sdk1.4.2" -J-Xmx96m -J-Xss1024k -J-Xms24m -J-Xverify:none
    - Change the path to your other JDK you wish, like: jdkhome "C:\java\jdk1.3" -J-Xmx96m -J-Xss1024k -J-Xms24m -J-Xverify:none
    - That's it, you can compile your applets in a previous version of JAVA so that "older" browser user don't have to install a plugin for the new JAVA environment.
    Have fun!
    If you have any questions I would be pleased to help you.
    If this tip helped you already I would be pleased if you would send me a quick email with your experience.

  • Apache plug-in prob : when trying to access '/weblogic/' URL , "404 : file not found" error is shown

    On : Apache 2.0 , Weblogic 7.0, Win 2000
    I installed the Apache plug-in for as described in WL docs, but when I try to
    access a URL /weblogic/ ( supposed to be configured automatically ) on apache,
    I get '404 : file not found' error.
    As per the docs, I did following config in Apache:
    1. Copied the 'mod_wl_20.so' file found in WLHOME\server\bin directory to the
    APACHE_HOME\modules directory
    2. Added to httpd.conf :
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules/mod_wl_20.so
    3. Apache httpd.conf syntax correct : checked by running ' APACHE_HOME\bin\Apache
    -t '
    4. Restarted WL & Apache.
    Now, the weblogic documentation says,
    "Test the Apache plug-in by opening a browser and setting the URL to the Apache
    Server + "/weblogic/", which should bring up the default WebLogic Server HTML
    page, welcome file, or default servlet, as defined for the default Web Application
    on WebLogic Server. For example:
    http://myApacheserver.com/weblogic/".
    For my server, 'http://localhost/weblogic/' - I get a "404 : file not found" error.
    What other configuration is needed ? Do I have to specify '/weblogic/' name anywhere
    else in Apache configuration file ?
    Any pointers will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    S

    Forgot to mention , I've also added following configuration in httpd.conf :
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules\mod_wl_20.so
    <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
    WebLogicHost localhost
    WebLogicPort 7501
    </IfModule>
    <Location /weblogic>
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    PathTrim /weblogic
    </Location>

    <tt>OREbase</tt> is just one of the packages that ORE needs. To complete the installation you will need to install the same way the following packages: <tt>OREeda_1.1.zip, OREgraphics_1.1.zip, OREstats_1.1.zip, ORExml_1.1.zip, ORE_1.1.zip</tt>. Additionally, you will need to install supporting packages from *"Oracle R Enterprise Client Supporting Packages for Windows Platform"*. It contains the following three packages: <tt>DBI_0.2-5.zip, png_0.1-4.zip, ROracle_1.1-2.zip</tt> under <tt>bin</tt> sub-directory.
    Then you can run ORE. Before issuing <tt>ore.connect()</tt> you should load ORE by doing <tt>library(ORE)</tt>. For the database that is running locally you can do something like this:
    library(ORE)
    ore.connect("scott", password = "tiger", conn_string = "")
    ore.sync()
    ore.attach()
    ore.ls()If you have any tables or views in your schema <tt>ore.ls()</tt> will show them.

  • WLS 7 SSL class not found error

    Actually, I got the same error message to start the Node Manager. However, I don't
    have the RSA license at this moment. How can it make the WL to use com.certicom.net.ssl.CerticomContextWrapper
    instead of com.rsa.ssl.WeblogicContextWrapper?
    Thanks,
    Victor

    It looks like ClassNotFoundException happend when WLS tried to initialize
    SSL implementation class, which is
    com.certicom.net.ssl.CerticomContextWrapper by default, or
    com.rsa.ssl.WeblogicContextWrapper if you have an RSA license. Since
    Certicom classes are shipped in weblogic.jar, you must have RSA license,
    but
    no RSA SSL classes in the server classpath?

    Thanks for your responce ...
    I had discovered that when I typed "java program name" the java was running from /usr/bin a non-ssl enabled java installation. There was an SSL enabled version under another path on this box and it ran my code fine.
