Soft Store . . .

I got an email from a place called Soft Store. The are selling LR2, download only for $50. Has anybody had any experience with Soft Store?

Sounds like pirates.
If it's the same as OEM Soft Store, look here. They quote Adobe as saying it's "totally illegal".

      OK. Microsoft takes your money right away, sends you an email with your purchase information, and product key... but NO COA sticker anywhere?  How in the heck are you suppposed to come up with this?  What is the 'benefit' of this onlne

    Apparently the sticker IS a big deal as Microsoft requires it for OEM installations.  When is the last time you were audited? Maybe you should think about that before you snap off the 'novice' comment.  If it did not matter they wouldn't require
    it period.  Yes, I KNOW they have not shipped one with any online purchase which is why I question the requirement for it in the first place.  All one has to do is produce a printed email with the receipt and key and all is well?  That's blatantly
    simple, agreed.   How is that any more substantial proof than a specially printed tamper proof Product key sticker affixed to a PC or laptop case?  Anyone can craft a forged email with a number, whereas a printed specially made tamper proof
    sticker reuires money and resources.   Point is: Microsoft requires both proof of purchase AND COA sticker during an audit.  Which is in direct contradiction of thier own policies with regards to Microsoft Store Online download purchases.
    Funny, I don't feel very 'novice'.  Some people at licensing are though.

    The answer is simple and has been stated many times before.  Boot Camp will not allow you to install to an external drive.  Until now, Windows made it nearly impossible to install on an external drive, although I hear that has changed with Windows 8.1 (but I do not have personal experience with that).
    If you use a different EFI boot loader, you might have much better luck installing Windows on an external drive, but Boot Camp does not support that.

  • Where is the Connections Panel??

    I purchased a download version of Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 from the OEM Soft Store in October, 2009 - it installed and ran ok.  I have used it much but in assuming more web site duties, I have bit the bullet and and using it more frequently.  When I click File, Share My Screen..., I get this popup.  On the right side of Dreamweaver is the panel containing Local and Remote files - I assume that is the Connections panel.  I have been all over it and cannot find any thing that says 'offline option'.  In addition, when I click Window, Extensions, Connections  I get another popup that says "your software has not been activated, yet I did that over two years ago

    I use DW CS5.
    I finally located a copy of DW CS4 and Window > Extensions > Connections is different to CS5.
    Using CS4 I reproduced the error message in your first post when I tried to use Share My Screen in offline mode.
    Using the DW CS4 Connections panel (Window > Extensions > Connections), I clicked tiny icon in the top RHS (just below the X) and got the flyout menu.
    UNticking the checkbox "Keep me offline" meant I could then use Share My Screen in CS4 successfully.
    Note: you need to sign up for a free Adobe ID and password to use Share My Screen (which is actually an Acrobat.com service).
    If you still get the activation issues mentioned in your first post when you click Window > Extensions > Connections then you may be out of luck with CS4.
    Speak to Adobe Customer Support and confirm with them if your serial number is valid or pirated.

    Well, it appears that your backup is corrupt, thus causing your issue. So, you'll have to restore as a new device, & not from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone:

    You are doing all that you cn do right now other than to update the apps in iTunes on your computer and sync them to the iPad.
    There has been a problem with the App Store updates tab for a few days now and we are all waiting for Apple to fix it.
    Look at all of the discussions on the iPad forum that are talking about this right now.

  • ITunes Store is blurry and soft

    I have iTunes 10 on windows xp, the resolution for my iPod summary screen and my music library etc. is fine, but when I go to the iTunes store, all the content on there is really blurry and soft. I have looked for a resolution setting but there isn't any. All the functions work fine, its just the fuzziness. And my eyesight is fine. If you have any idea on what might be going on, i would appreciate it if you could comment below.

    It sounds like you do not remember setting up security questions for your Apple ID and need them reset so you can set them up with your answers. You can use the the following article to reset them with a rescue email address, and it contains a link to contact the correct department if you do not have a rescue email address set up already.

    If a different Apple ID displays when you try to update your app, that would indicate that the original app was purchased using another account. You cannot update apps that belong to somebody else.

  • Cannot access iTunes store after upgrading to Windows 7 Pro x64.

    I recently upgraded from 32-bit Windows XP to 64-bit Windows 7 Professional by clean install (format) and re-installed iTunes for 64-bit systems. Since this upgrade, I can no longer access the iTunes store.
    I can view and edit my account information and the diagnostics gives no clue.
    I am using a wireless internet connection and the latest version of iTunes. If you need any other information please ask.

    Just wanted to say that I was having the same problem accessing the iTunes store. the problem was that I downloaded a PDF with a virus that masquerades as an Antivirus program, called Antivirus Soft. This thing installs itself and resets your Internet settings to its own proxy server. However, I don't use MSIE and didn't think to clear its proxy settings. I ran iTunes diagnostics and learned thet iTunes used the LAN settings from MSIE to connect to the Internet. Once I cleared the LAN settings from MSIE, I was able to connect.
    SO, check your LAN settings if you're having trouble connecting but haven't received any Antivirus Soft warnings. The virus is a bear to get rid of. Any attempt to start an antivirus program is thwarted until you can get rid of the virus. You get "error messages" saying that any program you attempt to open is infected, but it isn't.I managed to get rid of Antivirus Soft by using McAfee Antivirus after a few attempt. The frustrating thing is that the viruis installs itself in your startup program, so you have to get your real antivirus running very fast after reboot.

  • I have a ringtone that works great on my computer but the volume is very soft on the phone.  I have adjusted the volume on the phone but the ringtone volume is still too low.  Is there any way to adjust the volume of a ringtone?

    I have managed to sync a ringtone to my ne i phone 5C but the volume is way too soft.
    The sound is great on my computer but hard to hear at all on the phone.  I have tried turning up the volume button on the phone but it doesn' do anything for the ringtone.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem.  The ringtone is "calypso blackberry" and I am not able to locate it in the Apple store ringtones.  This should be so simple and it is making me nuts.

    So you use an RCA cable going into what before it hits the MBP?
    EDIT: Also in System Preferences > Sound > Input > you can select the input & adjust the volume accordingly as long as it's plugged in.

  • Ovi Store and my E71

    Ok so I'm quite new to this nokia, but the one thing i have been rtying to do this past week is to get some free apps and games on it and so far I have wasted 1 Gigabits of data just re-downloading the same 3 - 4 apps that always seem to fail when Installing, this has to be a problem with the software because prior to this my phone was factory reset.
    I find this to be very annoying... tell me how to fix this problem or how I can go about a way to get these free games and apps without using Ovi Store if that is the problem

    Not a whole lot that I can help with, but. Im having an issue with the Ovi store myself. I cant even acces it. I have resorted to downloading themes and other things from other websites such as Zedge, and Moblle9.
    You cant download content from these sites unless you switch some settings around though. So if you wish to be able to install software from other sits. ( keep in mind that even though they are free there could be a potential virus floating around somewere in some of the downloads) just go to:
    Menu > Installations > App. Manager.
    (app manger is the key thing here, so get to it with howerver means neccisary)
    From there: Left soft key(options) > Settings
    Now you will see "Software instalations" turn it to "all"
    now enjoy downloading some free themes. dont get a virus though!!!! lol

    This means that the Ovi Store is currently installed in your E52 phone, what I can suggest is try checking under Application Manager > Installed Application, check if the Ovi Store is there. If you can't see it, try to perform the soft reset (press *#7780# on the main screen of the phone and it will prompt you restore all original phone settings? phone will restart. Press YES and it will ask you for the lock code 12345.) If anything else please reply to this message.
