Soft wine coming from right side of My MBP

I started to notice a soft wine that sounds like a bomb being dropped, ie starts high pitch and ends in a lower pitch. Any one know what this could be. It sounds like it's coming from the right side when facing the monitor.

Could be the right side fan if you mean a "whine." But if you really mean "wine" then consider bottling it as it would truly be a rare vintage.

Subtle knocking sound coming from right side of MacBook

Since a few weeks my MacBook makes a very subtle but hearable knocking noise coming in irregular intervals from the right side (I put my ear on the MacBopk and waited). Coincidentally I did two things around the time the noise started: I bought a new hard drive (Western Digital Scorpio, 2.5", 8MB Cache, 250GB) and installed Leopard. Since the sound definitely comes from the right side it can't be hard drive related. According to Disk Utility the hard drive seems to be okay too.
Since the only component with moving parts is the optical drive I suspect that this might be the source of the noise. The problem is, that it's not reproducable and only occours irregularly. Plus every disk I insert plays fine (there was one incident with a DVD of "Lost" which went to pause every minute or so without pressing any button though).
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for your answer, impulse_telecom. Unfortunately I really can't tell these operations apart (especially since this noise comes and goes without any special action ...) so I don't really know what the drive is doing when it's making the noise. The (relatively) good news is that it's been making this noise for about a month now and I haven't noticed any data loss or read/write errors. But it could also be that since my hard drive is 250GB it might take a while for these errors to pop up. Since Leopard my boot caches had to be updated twice (never saw that under Tiger) when rebooting and I don't really know if that's a good thing and/or related to this.
I'll try and record the noise today and post it.

I believe what you are seeing is an optical illusion when viewing the screen from the side. Try to align one of the one of the options in Settings, like General, with the navigation bar you'll see it does the same thing.

Move dynpro field text from right side on yhe left.

Hi experts. I have a DDic field (char1 as chebox) on screen. I need to move the DDic text for this field from right side to the left side of the checkbox. How can I do it? Is it neccesary to split this one object into two? To create a new text field and handle it in program?

in the Graphical Screen Painter you have to right click on the field and you'll have some helpful options...

Two noise from right side when open the mbp

Every time when I open the laptop, there are two sound like zi zi from right side of it, before the opening music, it sounds like reading the disc, is there something wrong with the computer?

No. The OS, when the MBP is started does a diagnostics check, testing the optical drive as a part of same. That is the sound and it is normal.

then the output should be '0.0555'.

the problem here is u are dealing with a datatype of format F (i.e floating point ) and the output u desire is in packed format .
You cannot delete the zeros of such data typesas type F instead u can move them to the packed datatype and get the result.
do one thing declare a variable of type p and move the value of type f which u have right now to the variable u have declared as type p.
data : v_val type p decimals 4.
v_val = " <------ assign the type f to type p over here .

New iPad camera leaves a brownish gradient tint coming from one side.

Bought the New iPad about 3 weeks ago and recently, I just noticed an issue with my camera. For some reason, one side of the camera gives of a brownish gradient tint. If you were to stand the iPad up regularly with the home button at the bottom, then the gradient would be coming from the bottom. Wether I take a picture from lboth andscapes and both portaits views, the brown gradient is still there. The front facing camera seems just fine, so the issue is with the 5MP camera.

Updating table from right side of shuttle

I have a situation where I have a many to many relationship with 2 tables and an intermediate table. I am trying to create a shuttle item to be able to bring the two tables together. I have been reading the posts regarding populating the right side of the shuttle. That works now, but I have no idea how to take that and update the intermediate table with the values from the right side of the shuttle.
I tried using APEX_APPLICATION.G_F02, but that only seems to work, if the values in the right side are highlighted.
I can't seem to figure out what the name of the right hand of the shuttle is.
Any help would be very welcome.

Are you processing on submit? If so then the values would be avaialble by simply referencing the item. Each return value would be separated by a colon as in:
1:2:3

Noise comming from the right side of my MBP

Hi, i have a new 2012 regular 15" mbp. I had the Retina at first, it was completely silent, but this macbook i can hear, especially the right side. Both fans are running at idle 2000RPM. Is this the 7200RPM hard drive making noise? Its not terribly loud, but compared to the Retina its definitely audible.

Removing border / browser fill from right side of screen

I'm currently creating my very first website with Adobe Muse, the parallax scrolling effects work perfectly but i'm having the following issue:
When i'm previewing my website in the browser i can scroll to the right side and there is a 5cm/10cm grey border, i would like to get rid of it. "Horizontal scrolling must be disabled".
I think it has something to do with the rectangles/frames (1920x1080) i'm using for the images, but that is just speculation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated : )

Tactic 3D Sigma - No audio from right side using USB?

Just got my new Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Sigma (phew, that's a mouthful) headset in the mail today. When I connect it to my laptop using the USB adapter, there is no audio from the right side, only the left. When I connect using analog, though, the headset works fine.
I'm on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and I have the latest Creative software and headset drivers installed.

Hmmm... sounds like something is wrong with the USB adapter. Did you purchase the headset direct through Creative Online Store or from your local electronics store? If you bought the headset from your local electronics store, please get in touch with them right away, these stores usually have a 30 day exchange policy.
If you purchased this through the Creative Online Store, please write to our Customer Support and ask for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

You have a broken headphone jack, you will need to get it replaced or replace it yourself.
