Softphone Handsets (not Headsets)

Does anyone know if any USB handset such as Sogatel - Skype compatible USB desktop speaker desk phone - LCD screen would work with BT Softphone, I'm tired of using headsets.

first you need configure ephone and dn on ccme site b
then
you can reconfigure your cipc with tftp address of site b (same ip address of ccme)
your cipc get configuration trough tftp
tftp-server flash:..... is for firmware and locale upgrade
while the xml config is stored in ram
you can view all file binding by tftp with this command
show telephony-service tftp-bindings

I had a new handset delivered today due to my old one being damaged. As I went to restore from iCloud backup it is telling me I can't due to the handset not having iOS 7.1. How can I resolve this issue?
Could I select 'Set up as New IPhone' and then update to iOS 7.1 and then proceed to restore the phone from my most recent iCloud  backup ?
Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

    Hi again razmee209!
It has been updating since your last message and it says there's another 6 hours to go, does this sound right or is there a possibility I've been sent a re-con and the update will slow down my new handset considerably?!

  • Resolve audio echo in 4s handset, not Bluetooth or headset?

  • Bluetooth handset not working after upgrading to 2.2.1

I failed to get my bluetooth headset working after upgrading to 2.2.1. I have tried 4 different headsets (with different brands and models)and even bought a new one (Plantronic 640MP) and no luck also. I have also tried to hard reset and restore in iTunes but no success.
I can successfully paired my headset with iphone 3G but no sound transmitted over. I have been using my headset flawlessly before the firmware upgrade.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Hello.
I´m new to iPhone and this forum
I am having the same problem with my iPhone but I don´t know if it´s related with 2.2.1. firmware since that came on the iphone right away when I bought it.
I can connect to handfree set and pair up fine, but no sound what so ever is passed to or from the handsfree set. The handsfree set works fine with other phones.
I tryed restore but it didn´t help.
I restored the iphone with itunes, the function "If you are experiencing problems ...." hit the button "Restore" e.g.:
    http://www.tzywen.com/photos/iphone/itunes_restore.png
After that it told me to "set up my iphone" and I chose "restore from the backup of" e.g.:
    http://www.mattcutts.com/images/restore-iphone.png
The links are not from my procedure, just something I found on the internet to describe what went on
Did anyone find a solution for this problem?
How often do Apple make new firmware upgrades? (hoping that will help)
    Regards Martin

  • Phone handset not ringing

BT are dealing with this so am not seeking solutions but before contacting them I saw other threads on this which didn't seem to answer the basic questions so am posting for reference only for others with this problem.
My handset(s) weren't ringing even though inward callers were hearing a ringing tone at their end.   The handset's ringers were OK when checked in the handset setup and the handsets were able to dial out.
NB: The BT online line test said there was no problem with the line.
I tried the handset in the test socket under the bottom plate of the main socket as advised online but it still didn't work.    From reading this forum, there ddin't seem to be any 'user' solution to this.   I contacted BT through the online chat and they did further tests, revealing an exchange problem, for which they gave me a reference number and an expected resolution time of 6 days (from report).    Others with this fault should therefore be aware that even if the online test says the line is OK it can be an exchange problem, though this wasn't clear from other threads on here.
I should add that the BT person on the chat line was very helpful and I didn't have to wait too long in the queue.

Faulty port on a line card in the exchange, a very common problem.
An Openreach Field Technician will need to visit the exchange, and move your line onto a different Equipment Number.
They do not normally change line cards unless most of the ports are faulty.
Should not take more than ten minutes, once they have a new equipment number allocated, and your number changed over to it.

  • Pre Earpiece Not Working after 1.3.1 update (not headset related)

Right after I updated to Web OS 1.3.1 my Earpiece stopped working, and this is not related to the headset issue that many people have had problems with.  While making calls I cannot hear anything unless I use speakerphone.  The phone is working fine other than the earpiece not outputting any sound.
This is NOT a problem with the phone thinking a headset jack is plugged in (believe me, I've had that problem too) as the phone Icon is shown (and not the headset ICON - when that had been a problem) when making calls.
Has anyone else experienced this?   Any solutions?
    Thanks!
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

I was having the same problem. I read this post: http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/message?board.id=webossoftware&message.id=11306&query.id=132362#M1..., took a "Safeway Cotton Swab", cut it in half, jammed the non-cotton end down the headset plug, moved it around for about five seconds, took it out, and was back in business.
It is a weird coincidence that I didn't start having the problem until after downloading the 1.3.1 update. But the low-tech Q-tip method solved the problem for me.
    Hope this helps ...

  • Sounds stop on iPhone (not headset issue)

I was typing a message yesterday and all of a sudden the key clicks stopped. I locked the phone and it did not give me the lock sound, nor did it give me the unlock sound after I unlocked it. I rebooted it and all sounds came back.
It repeated the no sound problem just a few minutes again.
Anyone else have this happen? Yesterday was the first time ever. It's not the headset problem because the headset was not in use.

Make sure the Ring/Silent switch isn't showing a red bar or dot.
You can also try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

  • What handsfree car kit works with IPhone - not headset

What works with an IPhone that is not a headset but is a handsfree car kit?

A Motorola T325 Bluetooth Portable Car Speaker works quite well and costs about $35 USD on Amazon.

  • How do I copy my contacts to the SIM Card for use in another handset (not iPhone) please?

I have an iPhone 5 to replace my iPhone 3GS but I wish to get all of my phone numbers/contacts onto a spare handset which will stay in my rucksack for  emergencies.  I've read all the manuals but the only info I can find relates to backing up through iCloud which can only be used with Apple systems.  Any assistance appreciated, thank you.

You don't. iPhone stores no data on a sim card.
See if your carrier can do this for you. Some have machines, in store, that can do this.

  • Is there such a thing as a bluetooth headPHONE not headset?

I have had a hard time here in Canada finding a bluetooth headphone that does come with a mike thus making it a headset. Tried Motorola s9hd headset but kept cutting out. Can someone tell me something that works other than online store stuff

  • Camera powersave - handset not responding

OK simply and ever re-occurring.  If I am on the camera and do not take a picture immediately and the timeout occurs and the screen goes to sleep It does not respond to keytaps to wake it back up.  Only after a battery removal can I get my phone back.

  • Handset not working

    Hi,
We took out a contract for our daugther in January 2013. Her phone started playing up about 3 weeks ago. She needed to reboot all the time and now it has stopped working altogether. It just won't turn on. It comes up with battery and a red cross and we have tried the solution as suggested on this forum but that doesn't work either. We have been back to 3 twice and they said that they are not dealing with Blackberry support anymore and can't help us. We have tried to put another battery in, but that didn't work either.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
From your post, I can't quite tell if you tried all of this...some, but perhaps not all...
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

That's somewhat absurd, isn't it? You pay them for all of your services, which means they are responsible for all service-related support. If the issue is hardware, then if you bought it also from your carrier, then they remain responsible for that as well. But, if you bought the device elsewhere, then your hardware support comes from whoever you bought it from

  • Cisco Jabber Softphone not working

    Hi
The softphone is not working for cisco jabber windows
    Attached is the logs
    CUCM AND CUPS version 9.x
I found the below but is not clear to me what is the issue
    2013-10-10 12:53:42,577 DEBUG [0x00001360] [tionplugin\StatusBarPhoneButton.cpp(127)] [plugin-runtime] [OnCanSelectDeskphone] - enabling deskphone menu items
2013-10-10 12:53:42,577 DEBUG [0x000011a8] [src\config\TftpHelper.cpp(114)] [csf.ecc] [ecc::TftpHelper::doRetrieveFile] - Received error: eFileNotFound downloading file using HTTP from 'http://10.255.0.11:6970/CTLSEPCSFKIKACHRISTOU.tlv', not trying TFTP following an explicit HTTP "not found" error.

    Hi Chrysostomos,
I assumes your device name is CSFKIKACHRISTOU
You have added an ower id t the Device
You have allowed CTI Control for the device
You have associated the device to your user in End User Page under Device association.
Your user has is a member of both Standard CCM End Users and Standard CTI Enabled groups.
Now if you are using as softphone, the jabber client retrieves the TFTP server IP Addresses from IMP. Once it has the address, the client download the CSF config file direct from the TFTP Server.
Have you configured the TFTP Servers in IMP?
Application->Legacy Clients->Settings --- specify primary and backup tftp servers.
Exit from Jabber completely and re-login.
    See how that goes.

  • HT3563 How do I change a bluetooth profile on my macbook pro from headset to headphone (a2dp) audio only so it will not conflict in my multipoint stereo headset shared with my iphone.

I have a LG HBS-700 bluetooth stereo headset and "in order to access Multi-Connection mode, at least one of the two devices you are trying to connect to the HBS-700 must be able to select a profile, OR one of the two devices must only support one profile (Either Headset/Hands-Free or A2DP/AVRCP). For example: Two handsets which support both the Headset/Hands-Free and A2DP/AVRCP profiles cannot be connected to the HBS-700 simultaneously. But, one handset supporting Headset/Hands-Free/A2DP/AVRCP and a Bluetooth Stereo Dongle supporting only A2DP/AVRCP is OK".

Backup your computer. You may have to replace the HD.

  • I cannot get my Bose speakers to work.  They are plugged correctly and not in the headset jack

I have a new iMac 21.5 inch Led. 16.9 widescreen computer.  I purchased Bose speakers.  They are set up correctly and plugged in the back of the monitor in the correct slot (not headset slot) and I cannot get sound through  the Bose speakers.  I have tried the speakers on another computer and they work properly.  Can you help?

Hi. If the speakers are using a standard 3.5mm plug, they need to be plugged into the headphone jack. Please clarify which jack you are using.
