Dear sap guru's,
This is suresh, i just got trained on sap sd & bw. but i don't have any access to the software, i mean public ip of the software, i have the sap gui installed on my computer, and dsl running pretty good. i am unemployed i can spend $25/month to access the software.
if you know any body let me know my email:[email protected], or if you know any other way to access the software please let me know. any help or suggestions really appreciated. thank you in advance.

Just a guess, but it sounds like the folder where the files are saved is restricted and your user account doesn't have full permissions.
I'd expect such a program would save your config files in your user folder, so each account has access to only it's own settings, but I really haven't looked deeply into how this works. I only recently added a fingerprint reader to my T61, and it worked without any issues.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions to fix the problem, but have you installed the latest version? has it ever worked before? is this a new problem that just surfaced?
I might not be a bad idea to make some screenshots of the program, what your doing and how your doing it, as well as the error messages you're getting. I'll try to reproduce the problem if I can.

Why do I have to allow or deny iTunes or any other software, access to the internet?
I've had my MBP with Leopard since the summer of 2010. From then till this past spring, I have had my firewall on and when opening a program that needs internet access, such as: iTunes, Vuze, various office products, without a problem.
Since this spring, each time I open the above software, I have give permission (allow/deny) internet access. So, this isn't a prolem really, I'm just curious why this is happening.

OS X 10.6.8

Did you install Little Snitch (or Hands Off)? It will post a dialog to allow/deny apps calling out if you don't allow it to record what it is to permanently do if it sees the same call again from the same app.
Little Snitch will post a dialog with allow/deny buttons. But there is also three tab buttons; once, until quit, forever. "Until quit" is the default. So it won't nag about the same call again until that app quits but it will if you relaunch that app and the app makes the same call out. Choose "once" will allow that one call to be placed but will cause LS to nag the next time that app tries to call even if you haven't quit. Choose Forever and it will never nag again about that specific all attempt.
You need to train LS which apps you want to permit calling out and which ones you never want to allow calling out. You will of course initially be nagged quite often as you are seeing. But if you train LS to always allow the ones you want to allow eventually there will be fewer and fewer dialogs since your habits don't change that radically in the way you use your own machine.

Unfortunately WPA is not available with with Software Base Station. I don't know why Apple decided to leave it out.
To get the security without WPA you may want to consider utilizing a VPN over a non-encrypted network.

Photosmart 7520 Scan software access disappeared when Windows 10 was installed.

Under Win 8.1 I would click in the printer desktop icon to select the connect 7520 printer. Three optins would be displayed and I would selec the middle one for scanning. Now that icon wants to setup the printer for WiFi usage, install printer to a USB port or come back later - no scan options. What do I needed to do?

HHO Solution Centre Not Installing - "Hotkey/Software" Access Issue

I downloaded the driver for the Deskjet F4280 printer and while it did indtall, the HP Solution Centre installation was aborted because of no access to Hotkey/Software (whatever that means - Windows registry setting, I believe).
Without HP Solution Centre, I can't seem to control my scans (resolution, file path, etc.). When I press the scan button on the printer it goes directly to the scan function without allowing me to change any options. Is there a way to do all this without HP Solution centre?

Welcome to the community
I read about the error you are seeing which is not allowing you to use the printer software for scanning. You could try using Microsoft Paint as a work-around for scanning. However, if you would like to let me know which Windows OS you're running, I will look into some more troubleshooting for you!

Remote Software Access SharedMovies

Just started using Remote software on my iPod to control by Apple TV. Works great, but I can only see the movies that are on the Apple TV disk, not those that are shared on the network (have most of my movies on my MacBook Pro and Timecapsule). How do I get to see these Shared Movies on the menu on my iPod?

Hold down the (Option) key while restarting.....select the Recovery Partition to boot from (no startup disks required).....choose Disk Utility......once in Disk Utility choose the OSX partition (most likely named "MacIntosh HD").....select "Erase"....after that close out of Disk Utility and reinstall 10.8 or Mountain Lion....it will be one of the options (been a while since I looked) and follow the prompts to reinstall the OS......if you had to reload iWork and other items then you most likely "wiped the drive" already

Lost window, using published application on server 2012, when access it via web remote.

We use an edi software installed on a Server 2012.
When we use this software accessing the server by Remote Desktop, everything works normal.
When we use the same software accessing the server by web access, (...softname/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx) where was published this soft application, we lost some windows after different actions.
For example if I do a modification for a value in one specific window, after I click save, that window disappear but can appear again only if I click again anywhere on my desktop.
In other words that window lost the focus and probably is still open under another window. Clicking again anywhere, will reactivate it and that window appear again.
Can you please help me to find a solution to this problem?

How to get the best possible performance when accessing remote files

Hello,
I have recently set up a VPN to allow remote access to an MYOB data file hosted on my Mac Mini at home (MYOB is an accountancy software package for Mac and PC).
My Mac Mini is connected to the internet over a standard ADSL home broadband line, with a terrible upload speed. I think my ISP (BT) quotes 512k upload and up to 8 Meg download. Needless to say, access to the data file is sluggish at best.
Can anybody recommend a better way to host the data file?
I am aware of lots of 'free file hosting' services, a quick Google search brings up loads, but I need to actually open and run the file from its remote location. I cannot download and then upload again because we have multiple user access, and need to ensure the file on the server is not being edited by two people at once.

I preferred the Amazon S-3 option for ease of use and setup, but this does not appear to work. The software accesses the file very quickly indeed, which is great, but I think due to the connection protocol the network volume reports 'zero' disk space remaining.
The MYOB application does not like this, so pops up an error message saying it needs at least '200kb of disk space to open'. This is because, upon opening, it writes a couple of 'lock' files to the disk where the data file is stored.
My previous solution with the Mac Mini used VPN to connect, thus allowing SMB shares for windows users and AFP shares for Mac, and when mounted these network volumes would report the remaining disk space of the Mac Mini itself. MYOB liked this.
Is there any way I can get the network share to report something other than zero disk space remaining?

Otherwise, the VPS option sounds very affordable. I am however unfamiliar with the world of dedicated servers and the Ubuntu OS, but surprised they are so affordable. I would rather go this route than change my home ISP.
Firstly I have never used Linux or typed anything into the command line. So, will I be able to use VNC to access the VPS?
Second, to access the data file, should I continue to use VPN? My current VPN server software supports Linux, so can I use this on Ubuntu?

Access MS-Access using JDBC ODBC bridge from Sun AMD64

We are trying to configure a communication channel using the JDBC adapter. We are setting the driver to the JDBC-ODBC bridge driver and trying to access an MS Acess database from the PI server(sun amd64). When we set the driver to the JDBC-ODBC bridge, the J2EE engine tries to restart immediately and does not start. The std_server.out contains the following error:

Zen Touch Software Problem!!

I've still got this old problem with my zen touch. I did some backup of my own files and copied them on my zen touch. Now that I need this backup I can't get any access to my data files on my Zen Touch. I have no problems accessing the music files, but when I try to get my data files windows explorer is loading and loading... and then loses the connection again. I tried some other software under linux with the "libnjb" Library. And I had success with Gnomad2, but this stupid app obiously isnt able to show the subfolders, there are all the files, but without folders --> pretty anoying. And its quite interessting that Gnomad2 has no problems accessing these files, I can even copy them etc. Do you have any experience with alternati've software accessing the DATA FILES? I cant believe that creative doesnt offer its own software... because windows explorer doesnt work at all! The Media Source works fine as well!

Access to documents in partition

Hello,
I have recently bought a mac, and am looking at potentially partitioning my harddrive to be able to run a windows based program. My question is:
There are a number of documents / images etc that are attached to the said program and stored in a folder, which I will obviously store in the partition with the program. Will I only be able to access this folder from the windows part of the mac? I am guessing there will not be any kind of folder access from the mac side should I need them? As there are a number of these documents that I may need in both parts.

I will explain more specifically what I am trying to achieve.
I use a windows based genealogy program to research my family tree, its a very comprehensive bit of software that I would ideally like to keep. There is no mac version and I am not overly impressed with mac software that does the same job (whilst they look better, the functionality is very limited).
What I am trying to do is find the best way to continue using this software and still have access all the related documents and photos that are currently still on the pc that I have just 'abandoned' for a mac.
Whatever will allow me to still run this software, access the files from the mac and not create an issue for me when backing up.
A concern with backup that is just going through my brain at the moment (and this may be my 'newness' to the mac world) - I have a backup drive that will be used to back up the mac - 2 questions - will the format allow me to back up the files in the pc side? and, will this only be possible whilst operating as a pc?
Sorry for all the questions / confusion, but this software was the main reason for me having a pc in the first place and I cant lose almost 20 years of research.
