Software? are apple at fault? please help
hi was just wondering if anyone could help me ive been having what seems like very simple problems with my phone like freezing, brightness going up and down when trying to make a call or text, not recieving calls or text till a few days later. at first i thought it was a problem with the company i was with when i talked to them they said it sounded like my phone was faulty. then i noticed i couldnt get icloud and many other problems were occuring and my phone is not even a year old.
I made an appointment at the lakeside shop where they were 20 mins over my appointment, then when someone came over he mentioned it could be a software issue, he said everything would have to be swiped off my phone (luckly i restored it all) but he said that if i did restore it there was no guarenttee it would be ok. when i swiped it it was ok there was some freezing still but apart from that nothing but now ive restored it, its worse than ever.
As my warranty is up next week i know i can do much but my question is apple at fault or were the problems i was having a software glitch and is this worth me taking up with the manager in lakeside.
if anywone can help that'd be great

my sound won't work on my ipod 5. I plugged the speakers in and it works fine. When the headphones aren't plugged in and I turn the volume up it says that they are plugged in. Please help !
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. (this was already sugested) There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Check also Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not set all the way to "R".
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

- Try on another computer/network

i am a OS10.7.4 user. yesterday i bought a Lacie external hard disk but error message appear said " You cant open the applicant LaCie setup assistant because PowerPC applicants are no longer support". please help me how to connect my mac with Lacie??
You do not need the Setup Assistant; in fact, you do not need any software on an external hard drive. I have two LaCie's; I erased the drive as soon as I plugged it in. You will need to format it anyway because most hard drives come Windows formatted. So, if you only want to use it with the Mac, highlight it in Disk Utility and choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as the format and the GUID Partition scheme under Options. While doing that, it will erase the drive (and get rid of the LaCie software) - once finished, your drive is ready to use for Time Machine or any other backup plans you have for it.

However, I initially downloaded the CS5 suite digitally and I can't find out how I am able to perform a fresh install of InDesign. If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

Did you upgrade to a new MacOS X version? Then you need to update iPhoto as well.
Only iPhoto 9.6 is compatible with MacOS X 10.10 Yosemite. Update from the Mac App Store.
Backup your iPhoto library, if you do not have a current backup.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your current AppleID.
Check the "Updates" tab of the App Store for an iPhoto update and run the update.
When you laugh iPhoto after the update, it will warn you, that the library needs upgrading, That may take a while.
Just in case that you see a warning, that the update is not possible because of an error message: "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
Uninstall iPhoto by deleting it from the Applications folder, but do not empty the Trash, so you can put iPhoto back, if need be.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your current AppleID.
Open the main page "Featured" of the App Store and search for iPhoto.
If iPhoto is listed as "Free", click the "Free" button to buy it with your current AppleID.

Try to drag an app into folder and then drag it out.
Or reset you iPhone. Hold down Power and Home buttons until Apple logo appears. Release and wait to reboot. -

You think you are logging into icloud, but the error you get indicates that you are trying to create a new account. Since each device has a limit to the number of ID it can create (you seem to have reached that limit), then IF you are trying to create a new account, you'll have to use a different device or computer to do that. Otherwise you are not entering an ID to an existing icloud account.

My AppStore id is my apple id n password which is good when purchasing. But when I am updating from update option it ask for a password. The user id I see there is not mine, it's different. I believe the issue is with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the App. If you download an App that was purchased under a different Appple ID then all updates will also be linked to the original purchaser's Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the the same ID as your iTunes, iCloud, etc. Some folks use different ID for the different Apple sites. No need for that One ID for all Apple Sites, and if someone else buys an App using their ID and they(you) download that App onto your device and that App requires an update it will ask for the purchasers Apple ID. This happens a lot when folks sell their iPad or give it to someone else and leave some purchased(free) Apps on the iOS device. You cannot change the original ID the App was purchased under. A suggestion would be if someone else has an App that you like but do not want to pay for use their ID or in the future have them gift the App to you.
