Software Cannot Connect to Internet in Windows 8.1 Pro x64

I am not able to use FB poster & scheduler with my version of Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit.
But my friend who have the same Windows can run this piece of software without any issue. I tried uninstalling my anti-virus, firewall exception list, trusted sites list still no use.
The same message pop-ups whenever I open this software. What should I do now?
I cannot post images now. This is the reply I am getting as of now:
"An error occurred while trying to connect to NTWEB server. Please try again.
ERROR DETAILS:
Not found
SOURCE:
System.Management"

I tried clean boot yet still getting the same error message. Why this happens?

  • Can't Connect to Internet on Windows 8.1 Pro Boot Camp

    Hello all,
I installed Windows 8.1 Pro without any problems. However, I saw that I can't connect to the internet, because there are no connections being displayed. How would I fix this? What drivers would I need to install? I purchased my MacBook Pro with Retina Display o November 5, 2012.

How did you install windows? Boot camp assistant would have downloaded and installed drivers for you.
    Download and install these

Only the native browser can access to internet. Reboot can solve the problem but it came back after a while.
i'm in China, and a lot of chinese user have the same problem. Is there a offical solution for this?

  • Cannot connect to Internet in Windows

I just installed Boot Camp and when I started Windows and tried to connect to the internet it doesn't recognize anything. I am able to connect in Leopard. Any suggestions. I compared settings to my other PC to see if I could find a difference and couldn't

Boot into Windows. Insert the Leopard DVD. The drivers should install automatically. If not, then click Start\Run and type "D:setup.exe" and hit OK (or type enter).
When you set up your router, you were supposed to choose an encryption scheme. This would have been one of none (bad idea!), WEP (also a bad idea!), WPA or WPA2. To check, you have to log into your router (usually by visiting http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/ but read the manual for your router) and hunt around the wireless settings (every router is different; read the manual.)

  • Apple software cannot connect to internet

None of my Apple software knows how to get to the internet any more: Safari, Software Update, iTunes, Mail.  Everything tells me "You are not connected to the internet." Network diagnostics sometimes gives me all green lights, but now is telling me ISP, Internet, and Server failed.
But, I am able to get to the internet just fine using Firefox.
    Aargh!

This issue could be tricky. There are a lot of things you can do to narrow down the issue.
As the issue is somewhat broad I would start troubleshooting with this Apple article. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1199?viewlocale=en_US
If the article above does not resolve the issue try this one to narrow down your issue. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1388?viewlocale=en_US
Let me know what happens. Good luck.
    Regards,
    Britt.

  • Have disabled IE on windows pc and am using Firefox as browser. iTunes now says cannot connect to internet even though Firefox working: suggestions

Have disabled IE on windows pc and am using Firefox as browser. iTunes now says cannot connect to internet even though Firefox working: suggestions?

There is a plugin for Firefox - see here
    http://latestversionplugin.com/current-version-plugin-itunes-application-detecto r.html
It should be installed automatically if you install iTunes, but I guess when you installed iTunes you didn't have Firefox.  Just reinstall iTunes and it should work OK  (your iTunes library will not be affected)

  • ITunes cannot connect to Internet and iPad backup takes Forever

Hi, I have a workstation, high end Windows 7, PC, everything works perfect except the iTunes.. here's my story:
iTunes cannot connect to internet, nor can iTunes Store. I tried "Run Diagnostics" from Help menu, it showed "internet connection verified" green light BUT "Secure link to iTunes Store Failed" Red Light.
Then I thought, lets check other Apple App, Safari.. which couldn't load google for a long time and didn't even show any error, anyway, so I quit and uninstalled it.
I connected iPad for backup, it started all fine. At "Step 2 of 7" backing up, the loading/copying bar came half way up and stayed there for more than 20 hours. So, I quit that too. (Maybe, this is a different problem or connected, im not sure.)
I also checked the setting in Norton Firewall and made sure iTunes was allowed full access. Internet is working perfect in all the other applications, even "Apple Software Update" is working fine, checking for updates and everything. I have latest version of iTunes by the way.
THEN, I uninstalled everything Apple, left no trace of Apple in Program Files, and reinstalled iTunes. STILL SAME PROBLEM!!! Can anybody help? What could've happened, 'coz it used to work just fine before.
    Thanks Guys!

    start itunes.
    update podcasts - no response.
click on store - no response.
use diagnostics for connectivity - no response.
sometimes, when i stop itunes from trying to connect, i will get an error code 11222

  • IMac Model 10,1 cannot connect to Internet, either with cable modem of Airport. Solutions?

iMac 10,1 cannot connect to internet via cable modem or Airport plugged into cable modem.  MacBook Pro, iPad and iPod are fine.  Reinstalled OS10.6.3with no results.  Ideas on where to go next welcome.

    Hello,
Though all of these steps may or may not be needed, I'm including them all.
Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2712
    10.5, 10.6, 10.7 & 10.8…
System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
    10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
    If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
(There may be better or faster DNS numbers in your area, but these should be a good test).

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

    Wi-Fi Setup Considerations
Things to consider before you begin
Start with a plan for the physical layout. Depending on whether you have an existing Wi-Fi network, or if you are using your AirPort Express as a standalone Wi-Fi device, there are several options available for you to choose from.
When using Ethernet, Cat6 cable is recommended.
The layout you choose should take into account environmental factors such as physical access, location, range, radio frequency interference, etc.
You will need to consider what AirPort Utility settings to adopt.
You will need to know whether you are using an AirPort Express (802.11b/g) or an AirPort Express (802.11a/b/g/n).
If you will be using more than one Wi-Fi base station, it may be helpful to read the article Extending the range of your wireless network by adding additional Wi-Fi base stations.

Ipod classic 160GB very slow sync and cannot connect to itunes store windows 7 ansd itunes 10.6.0.40. I have now been trying for 3 weeks to restore my iPod. Really frustrated, any ideas would be welcome.

Cured the problem! Reinstalled an earlier version of itunes from oldapps.com (version 10) now everything works as it should. I would suggest that if you are experiencing these problems that you do the same. I must say that it is a brave business decision on behalf of apple to effectively lock out all windows 7 users from their products and sales channels and I can only wish them luck in this very shortsighted policy.

  • Cannot connect to internet in Solaris 10 OS.

I setup X4500 running solaris 10 OS. But, I cannot connect to internet. I do not understand whats wrong with that. When I ping google or any other site from X4500 its not transferring any packets. I can ssh it from a remote computer. So, running fine on the network. I have a static IP for that. Could someone please help me with this.
    Thank you

Can you ping your own default gateway's IP address?
Can you traceroute to a public IP address like forums.sun.com (72.5.124.102)?
Can you use nslookup to resolve hostnames to IP addresses?
Does your /etc/resolv.conf have lines like:
    nameserver 192.168.0.10
Where 192.168.0.10 is the IP address of your local DNS server(s)?
Did you copy /etc/nsswitch.dns over /etc/nsswitch.conf before trying to reach websites?
I hope investigating these questions help.
