Software corrupt when installing LaView6.1 and IVI

I have two problems.
My computer operating system is Windows2000, Pentium 4.
1. When I installed LabView 6.1, a error message box showed the following information.I chose "Yes" to complete installation. Repeat trials were the same situations. MAX worked well.
2.After installed LabWindows/CVI and LabView 6.1, I installed IVI toolset. After installation, I started MAX, then another error message box appeared. I deleted config.mxs by following its suggestion, but there was no change.
MAX doesn't work! I find that there two version MAX were installed in the computer, v1.1 (from IVI) and v2.2 (from LabView).
I uninstalled the two version IVIs and reinstall v1.1, MAX worked well.
How to solve there
problems? Does a low version MAX bring negative impacts on LabView or LabWindows?

Hi,
The IVI toolkit does install MAX 1.1. I did a test were I installed LabVIEW 6.1 with all the drivers and then installed the IVI toolset. In this case, MAX 2.2 worked and I removed MAX 1.1. So the problem you're experiencing might be a bad installation of MAX 2.2.
if you uninstalled MAX 2.2 and MAX 1.1 is working, you could work with that setup. If not, I would suggest to uninstall all versions of MAX and the drivers (NI-DAQ, NI-488.2, NI-VISA), then run the installers for this drivers. The installers will install MAX.

Error when installing Rescue and Recovery

Hello,
I own a 2 year old Thinkpad L430 running Win7 Pro 64bit.
I've been trying to install Rescue and Recovery because I want to reset my PC from the recovery partition, and as far as I understand the only way to do that is through RnR(?)
But whenever I go through the installer i get this error message:

which, in english, basically says that there was and error with the return code 6.
After googling around for a while i found out that the fact that I once had a Linux Distrinution installed alongside Windows may be the cause of aforementioned error, because Linux replaces the default Lenovo boot loader with it's own GRUB one. When i removed the Linux distribution I typed the following into the command line: bootrec.exe /fixmbr to return to the Windows boot loader.
Do anyone know if the Linux thing is in fact the cause of the error?
Can I somehow restore the Lenovo boot loader or is there's some other way to install RnR and/or restore my PC?
Any help is truly appreciated!

A typical factory ship of machine from Lenovo: (yours may not look like this).
Q (lenovo recovery)
contains Rescue and recovery standalone software. This standalone software also can call The factory recovery software, if the Factory software is still on the Q drive. Lenovo modifies the BIOS to support launch of standalone RNR.
Regardless of RNR installed or not, on the windows platform, standalone SHOULD launch. There is always a standalone RNR in the recovery partition.

(1) order REcovery DVD from the support center. $50 us if not under warranty
(2) find a bud with a Lenovo machine. Create Rescue media to a DVD. Boot your machine with the DVD. If it finds the recovery partition intact, you can do a Factory reinstall. Rescue media is a standalone RNR, it will not rely on the boot structure on your C drive HDD>
(3) Your main issue is RNR install died with RC=6. This shows up. Check the msi logs in
C/users/YOURID/appdata/local/temp. I have researched some of these. It is confusion in the installer/ and the condition of the PDA/predesktop area (corrupted) . PDA is standalone rnr. Your PDA is probably just fine.
SO, which version of RNR did you try to install? Was it the USA english version or the NLS support version.
Your cant mix and match.
You cant switch from the English only version to NLS. denmark version, it will rc=6. I personally think this is a bug..
Region lang, local lang etc also confuse RNR installer.
The rc=6 occurs way after the installer had a bug in it. Yes it is trying to modify the MBR/BCD. I dont think your linux stuff mucked it up.

Simple solution:
Get a DVD of standalone RNR to perform the factory recovery.
-or- hit pff11 at boot time, and use RNR standalone for Factory recover<<< this shoud work. << my choice.

Failed when installing windows and linux on my lenovo laptop E440

What is error 2502,& 2503 when installing Quicktime and gaming related drivers/software

Windows 8 has just been re-installed so I thought that would fix the problem. I had purchased a new XFX graphics card,,, free games. I couldn't download or play the games because of errors 2502 and 2503. I'm having the same problem, but so far, none of the solutions I've seen on other threads have worked. I've made sure that I have permissions on everything, but the registry still won't give me access. I'm starting to think that my registry (or at least any keys associated to QuickTime*) might be corrupted.
By the way BDude004, in any earlier versions of iTunes, did you have any errors pop up, talking about errors changing filetypes? that happened to me often, and I'm wondering if it was a precursor to this registry problem.
* I say this because I get the same "Cannot open QuickTime.[some QT associated filetype]: Error while opening key." message whenever I click on that key in the registry editor.

When installing iTunes and extracting the files with Winrar I get corrupted files and cannot complete the download why is this?

When I dont extract the files and go straight to the installer it says that the download was inturrupted and to try again and it wont work any of the times I try.

Try clearing your browser's cache before downloading again, or try a different browser, or download the installer on a different machine, check it with Winrar or 7-Zip, then put it on a memory stick to take back to your own computer.

N8 "File corrupted" when installing apps

I recently made a reset on my Nokia N8, using *#7370# command.
After the reset I'm not able to install any application to the phone. When I start the installation (e.g.: Ovi Store), the "File corrupted" error message appears on the screen. I tried different applications but the same happens.
I tried re-installing the firmware, and doing Factory reset, but none of these helped.
Anybody having the same issue?

if i understand well you have install the firmware via pc 2 times and did not help
then try one more time with out hard reset, if still nothing you may need go at nokia care
dont know more detailed infos cos never involved so deep but seems the installing part or qt files or applicationswhich helps to install has been damage or missing (after hard reset) and updating the software not help because phone after update is restoring back (something like back up) the previous setting

MAX 14.0 broken and database corrupt after installing LV2014 and latest device drivers

I have LV2012 and 2013 (both 32-bit) installed on my Win8.1 64-bit system and have used them without problem. I recently went through the agony of installing LV2014 32-bit from Dev Suite 2014 DS2 and the latest device drivers from the August 2014 DVD, and now MAX (v14.0) does not work. Firstly, it is slow to populate the System information display, secondly when I try to expand a tree I get a MAX Database Connection Error (see attached), and there is no software listed at all. Thirdly, devices are not listed properly even though appearing in Device Manager (eg. a CAN interface no longer lists CAN0 but does show the device but no configuration, same for USB DAQ devices I(see attached), and I do have CAN 14.0 installed), and there is nothing under Data Neighborhood.
Initial attempts to install LV2014 were prevented by the NI mDNS Responder and related services not stopping when required by the installer. This also affected attempts to repair MAX.
All 3 versions of LabVIEW run OK, but projects no longer include remote or RIO/FPGA hardware - possibly due to uninstalled support software - but without the software list in MAX I cannot tell what is and isn't installed.
I have performed a Reset Configuration Data, repaired MAX several times, uninstalled it (any all dependencies), turned of the firewall and virus software, and completely reinstalled LV2012, LV2013, LV2014, and device drivers, but with no change to the problem. I have now lost 2 whole days and I am getting desperate for a fix. Surely this cannot be the only case of this in the whole world.

As for your installation errors:
This error happens when a service gets hung up in a "stopping" state that does not allow the installer or uninstaller to remove it. This can happen with a number of different services, but it has appeared to happen mostly with the Lookout Citadel Server (lkcitadel server) and National Instruments Time Synchronization (lkTimeSync).
-To resolve the issue, open up the Services application by going to Start»Run and typing "services.msc" without the quotes. In the window that opens, find the service that the error message references. It will usually have a status of "Stopping."
-Double-click on the service to open the service's properties window as seen below.
-Try clicking Stop to stop the service. If this does not stop the service, set the service's type to Manualand restart the computer. It is safe to set the service to Manual because it will be started manually if it needs to run. After the restart, the service will not start automatically and you will be able to install or uninstall your software as necessary.
As for the devices not being visible have you downloaded the NI DAQmx drivers correctly(after installing LabVIEW).

Data Corruption when installing Windows XP

Folks, I would greatly appreciate any direction you might have to help me solve te following issue.
Here are my parts:
k7n2 Delta - L
AMD XP 3000+
Saphire Radeon 9800 PRO 128
Antec Server case 430w Truepower supply.
Plextor 52/24/52 IDE
Maxtor SATA 80G + KINGWIN SAC-02 (Silicon Image SATA 3112 Controller)
OCZ Extreme performance Platinum PC3200 2x512 matched
I have no trouble posting and having the SATA drive come up as the boot device.
My issue lies in the transfer of data to/from the drive when trying to install the OS. I get inconsistent read/write errors throught the install and I can never get it passed the initial setup screen. It always BSOD's when it tries to load windows and finish the install. Obviously this is because a lot of the files were corrupted and/or not copied.
This is what I have tried.
I removed the SATA drive and installed a WD 40gig IDE drive : SAME ISSUE
I tried formatting all drives for FAT32 and NTFS : SAME ISSUE
I tried putting my working PC IDE drive in as boot drive and it just keeps rebooting itself right when it tries to load windows.
I tried removing sticks of ram: SAME ISSUE
I UPDATED the SATA card cmos to latest version as per the forums : SAME ISSUE

Update: Settings were already set as you described. Same issue
All is well now, however. All the issues have gone away in one fell swoop.
Abit N7-S to the rescue. Booted on first try and stable as bedrock for 16 hours now.
That just says a whole lot in stark contrast to the k7n2 from MSI.
Just my humble experience. No flame intended. I am sure MSI has plenty of wonderful products, but k7n2 @ 400 is not one of them as is evident by a simple perusal of tech forums around the web.

N97 file corrupted when installing files

My N97 was working well untill yesterday when I tried to download something from ovi store. It asked if I wanted to install the newest version of the store which I tried to do but it keeps saying 'file corrupted' and cancels the installation.
This message is coming up with every file I try installing now, either by downloading it from the older version of ovi store, or by installing through ovi suite.
I've also noticed Ovi Maps no longer loads if you try starting it up. It does nothing!
I tried installing the newest version of Ovi Suite, but its asking to install sms ds plugin 1.14 to my phone which then says file corrupted.
Anyone have a solution, or have I got to do a full reset of the phone? (Hopefully I can still get a backup with ovi suite)

N85 says file corrupted when installing whatsapp

Hey all i really need some help here!!
I tried to install whatsapp from http://www.whatsapp.com/nokia/ but failed -"file corrupted".
i don't know what happened because the website clearly states that the app supports N85.
Another thing, Nokia Suite made me download the service controllers (no idea what that is) but i couldn't install that either, ágain, "file corrupted".
Is there something wrong with my phone?

Have you tried downloading Whatsapp directly from Nokia Store, you can find it here. You can download it directly on your mobile using the Store application or connect your phone to Nokia Suite and download it through there.
If the problem persists, try to re-install your phone software by selecting Tools > Software update on Nokia Suite.

[SOLVED] Files corrupted when installing packages

I've been using arch for about six months now, I like it very much but I've run into a problem. I suspect it could be that coming from Ubuntu, I'm not used to Arch's "rolling release" approach and I've let things get out of date, but I'd like to have that confirmed before I update my whole system.

I got a similar result a couple of days ago when trying to install 'gdb'. I tried making http://mirror.rit.edu/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch the first server in my mirrorlist file, but no change. I'm wondering if maybe my version of arch is just outdated and I need to upgrade with 'pacman -Syu' ? Currently uname -a shows "Linux bigsalad 3.18.5-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 30 07:31:50 CET 2015 x86_64 GNU/Linux". As far as I can see, it's either that I'm out of date, or for some random reason the two packages I've happened to try in the last few days have issues. If it's the latter, I'd rather not over react with "pacman -Syu".
Anyone have any thoughts? This is my first post here so apologies in advance if it isn't quite right.

OK, now I'm super confused.
I tried both "pacman-key --refresh-keys", and after that failed, "pacman -Syu". Neither worked. The full output from refreshing the keys is below :

Not being very experienced with keys, I didn't pursue that further.
And pacman -Syu failed - it seemed to download everything, but then convince itself that the keys were invalid (see below). I'm not at all experienced with keys, so that may be the problem. Please help!!! My arch systems have been running fine, but I don't seem to be able to upgrade, which seems to be a requisite for installing new packages? I'm lost!!

Patches become corrupted when i close and reopen a concert

I can't figure out why after creating a concert and getting sounds all tweaked that when i close it out and open it back up all my patches get corrupted. ie: 'Classic Trance' now sounds like a rhodes. This has happened randomly multiple times. some when I close out and open back up normally other times when Mainstage quit on me. I always save before closing out a concert. Can anyone help me?

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
