I hate havingto waste time going thru discussion pages to answer a simple question but this seems to be the way corporates are going to save having to employ people who can actually answer questions !!!
Can I use Bluetooth instead of a USB cable to update the software on my 6234 ??

No, you cannot update your phone via bluetooth.

Settings>General>Software Update is only available in IOS 5 and above.
If you are using IOS 4, you need to connect to iTune (computer) to update software.

Leopard is not a download. Those who offer it as a download are violating the law and probably embedded viruses.
You can buy SL which is a stable OS and Apple seels it at 1-800-MY-APPLE for $19.
Leopard disks can be found online, but can run $200, which means you may opt for SL instead.

Where to download software to upgrade from XIR2 to XI 3.1

I cannot find where the download for this software is located. Any ideas appreciated.

Software is located on service.sap.com, then click the link for the SAP Support Portal. Once you log in, click on Software Downloads.
I have not done an in-place upgrade from XIR2 to XI 3.1, but have migrated from old to new using the Import Wizard. If you have a second server (and separate repository schemas) available I highly recommend that method, so in case something goes horribly wrong you can still use the old one while you figure out what happened.

Are you getting download error on Creative Cloud "Apps" tab.
Then try below steps once.
click Gear icon on the top Right corner and Quit Creative Cloud App
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go ( make sure to open ~/Library not /Library. There will be two Library folders )
Then open Application Support > Adobe folders
Trash AAMUpdater and OOBE folders.
Then relaunch Creative Cloud App and check.

Make sure your Mac qualifies to run Mountain Lion > Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
Try disabling anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferencs > Security & Privacy
Apps such as Little Snitch and Net Nanny can prevent apps from downloading from the App store including Mountain Lion.
Third party download managers are not compatible with the App Store.
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

...well, not really, but it seems that's my only option.
My G5, after a crash decided that it won't boot anymore from the built-in drive. The only way to fix that was to totally reformat the drive, and reinstall everything from backup. You can guess what that means: get the data from the backup, install all the software from the original disks, and apply all the updates again.
Now welcome to Apple's paranoia: You can't download the software updates for Final Cut Studio more than once, or so it seems. Obviously, I had downloaded them before, and when I try now, with my very own, personal, paid-for, etc. license string, I only get this joke of an error message:
"You appear to have already downloaded the Final Cut Studio update."
Yeah, well, really? Of course I have downloaded it before! But until Apple decides to ship computers that are 100% fail safe, I also reserve the right to download software that I paid for as often as I need to reinstall the junk!
However, as things stand now, I can't download the updates anymore because Apple's paranoid that someone, somehow might stich together a working version of the software from update downloads w/o paying for a license.
Wake up, and smell the coffee: if someone wants to pirate Apple's software, they will certainly have better channels than Apple's software download.
Of course, what Apple does with this policy of restricted downloads is to force a legitimate user like me to try to get the updates somewhere else, which likely means some sort of gray/black channels. Pretty ********, in my book...

Exactly. Just tried it again, to check if maybe Apple's servers have some sort of time-out where if you try it N times within time T then it blocks it.
But even though it's days since the last attempt, it's not working.
Software Update isn't a solution.
a) I need backups of the installer packages, because I can't rely on being connected to the internet when travelling and I take along all important software to recover from a potential disaster
b) Software Update isn't always reliable, particularly if you moved applications to organize your Applications folder somewhat.
I'm already wasting weeks on a boot issue which I think I may have gotten a handle on now: it seems that at least the original PMG5DP2GHz can't boot from (some?) volumes with more than 2^22 files on them.

How to Install CS2 Downloaded Upgrade on New Win7 Machine

Hi, I have a purchased and downloaded version of CS2 I want to install on my new Win7 computer. However I do not see an installer in the package.
How do I install this?

There is no setup.exe.
In the original downloaded upgrade to CS2 from CS1, there are live applications that can be launched. However, I'm afraid at this point I may have some value in the registry that will not allow me to continue. I have no idea why.
Like I said before, when I try to launch CS2, I get the error that my "user name, organization or serial number is invalid. The application cannot continue and must exit." I am not given an opportunity to input this information.
I have even installed this as recently as last year on a laptop from the same media with no problems, however I must have done something differently this time and it isn't working.
I'm afraid at this point I am either going to have to start from scratch and re-install Windows, or fork out for the upgrade to CS5, which I don't really need.
That is unless I can locate whatever registry file it is that needs to be modified... I am not trying to do anything nefarious, only trying to use the software I bought and paid for.

Before embarking on a major OS upgrade, it would be wise, advisable and very prudent if you backup your current system to an external connected and Mac formatted Flash drive OR externally connected USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Then, use either OS X Time Machine app to backup your entire system to the external drive OR purchase, install and use a data cloning app, like CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper, to make an exact and bootable copy (clone) of your entire Mac's internal hard drive. This step is really needed in case something goes wrong with the install of the new OS or you simply do not like the new OS, you have a very easy way/procedure to return your Mac to its former working state.
Then, determine if your Mac meets ALL minimum system install requirements.
To install Yosemite, you need one of these Macs:
iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)

If you run any older Mac software from the earlier PowerPC Macs, then none of this software will work with the newer OS X versions (10.7 and onward). OS X Snow Leopard had a magical and invisible PowerPC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background that still allowed older PowerPC coded software to still operate in a Intel CPU Mac.
The use of Rosetta ended with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application was licensed to Apple, from a software company called Transitive, which got bought out, I believe, by IBM and Appe could no longer secure their rights to continue to use Rosetta in later versions of OS X.
So, you would need to check to see if you have software on your Mac that maybe older than, say, 2006 or older.

If you have any commercial antivirus installed and/or hard drive cleaning apps installed on your Mac, like MacKeeper, CleanMyMac, TuneUpMyMac, MacCleanse, etc. now would be a good time to completely uninstall this apps by doing a Google search to learn how to properly uninstall these types of apps.
These types of apps will only cause your Mac issues later after the install of the new OS X version and you will have to completely uninstall these types of apps later.
Once you have determined all of this, you should be able to find the latest version of Yosemite by clicking on the Mac App Store icon in the OS X Dock and then login to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID and password.
You can then begin the download and installation process of installing OS X 10.10 Yosemite from the Mac App Store.

How does download upgrade work?

I just ordered the CS4 upgrade as a download because I wanted the serial number right now because I'm going on a 6 week trip. This is the first download upgrade I've done for this product because I've had trouble with download upgrades for other products. I won't have trouble with this install, but what I'm curious about is what happens when I get a new computer and want to install Photoshop. Most upgrade products ask for the previous CD and a serial number. In this case, I have it, but when I upgrade next time, my previous will be a download. I'm hoping that Adobe took care of this problem with download upgrades. Obviously I prefer not to have to install old products on a new computer in order to get a current product to work.

Just like John said. PS CS4 upgrade will ask to type in the CS4 serial number and then ask for a older product number (CS as a example as it is the oldest version to upgrade from). As Long as the older version serial number is "valid" then your good to go. The software will tell you if the serial number is valid by displaying a green check mark after typing. Ensure your connected to the internet. Also burn a copy or zip it of the download. I have had no problems upgrading doing it this way.

When the installer is downloaded from the App Store, it is a good idea to make a copy of it with a different name and in another location from the Applications folder, as the original disappears after running.
The installation will leave the user account intact, with your apps and files. However, not all apps will be updated for Yosemite and to save future problems it is advisable to go to the developers' websites and get the latest version, before you make the move.
I see from Roaring Apps, that Wolfram Mathematica may not yet be ready for Yosemite.

If you registered the software with Adobe then you should be able to find your serial number thru your Adobe account online. You should also need the serial number for version 7 if that is what you upgraded from.

The "right click" is a function of the OS and those keyboard commands do not work on the iPad at all with the built in virtual keyboard. I don't use an external keyboard - so I cannot attest to the possibility of that working - but there are no keyboard shortcuts with the iPad keyboard.
