Software downloading error msg

When I first got my 8330 Curve several weeks ago, I was able to download third party software with the desktop manager. Now however, I keep getting this error message: "No additional applications designed for your handheld were found."
Help screens say this could mean the desktop manager software needs updating, but it's new and I seem to have the latest version. Any ideas?

Software download error on LG Spectrum

Is anyone else getting a software download error when they try to check for updates. Obviously my LG Spectrum has never notified me of the Android 4.0 (ICS) update because of the error. I spoke with a Verizon rep today and they said this has been a common problem and it's a problem with the actual software. They now need to fix that and re-push it so the folks that have not got the update because of error can finally get it! She had no idea when that would be. This is getting ridiculous! Does anyone know of this software problem and if they are actually trying to solve the problem?

My Lucid did this for about 2 weeks right before we got ICS. Within a day of the issue going away we got ICS. So you should see this as a good sign.

App Manager gives Download Error msg

Hello,
Just signed up for the cloud service. i installed the Application Manager. as soon as it opens, it gives a "download error. Please contact customer support" message. there is no other infomation on the screen and the app window is blank.
I'm running OS X 10.8.2 and Safari 6.0.2
Please assist!

Go to main Hard drive -> Library -> Application support -> Adobe -> OOBE
Rename the OOBE Folder to OOBE_old
Similary go to User Library by click on option Go avilable on the top
Go -> Go to folder -> Type "~/Library"
It will take you to the users library now go to -> Application support -> Adobe -> OOBE
rename the OOBE Folder to OOBE_old
After Renameing these 2 folder download Adobe Application manager from - http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
Install it on the machine it should work now

Iphone software download error message

When trying to download the latest iphone software I get the error message 'There was a problem downloading the software. The network connection is timed out.' Can anyone help with how to deal with this please ?

New download, error msg profiles not found or inaccessible

uninstalled firefox w/AppCleaner....downloaded FF v 7.0.1 upon startup get msg;
"your firefox profile cannot be loaded it maybe inaccessible or missing"
I have copied over old profile from external backup and placed into users/lib/app support/

2. If developers should be doing this in EP , then can you please guide me where to download the BI Java usage types , I was unable to get to the exact location. --> You can use the EP installation CD to add the new component. This will add value only if you have a BW 7.0 backend system.

HT4461 Maverick osx software download error's

Why since upgrading to mavericks osx 10.9.2 cant I upload any updates on software? Such as for my printer , or java etc, I keep getting a message saying " I have a network problem". What problem? Auto updates kicks in, when I start the upload, the above error message kick in. Help please, mavericks is a nightmare, this very frustrating.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

Software download error

I have the first generation ipod touch. I do not have the January software upgrade. I just purchased the latest software upgrade $9.99. My payment was accepted but the software won't download. I get a message that says I don't have enough access privileges. The agent I spoke to at Apple told me it was because the network is overloaded with traffic and I should keep trying, but it's been 2 days so I question his advice. Any ideas?

Ok I've got a fix it not the best option but it worked for me...
You've got to fully delete iTunes from your mac and reinstall it, these are the steps I used:
1. Backup your system
2. Exit iTunes if you have it open.
3. Under YOURUSERNAME/Library move (to temp dir or area) or rename your iTunes directory.
4. Under YOURUSERNAME/Music move or rename your iTunes directory.
5. Under YOURUSERNAME/Library/Preferences move or rename the following files
- com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist
- com.apple.iTunes.plist
- com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist
6. Delete iTunes (Move application to Trash)
7. Restart your Mac.
8. Install iTunes 7.7 (Download from apple.com if needed)
9. Download 2.0 update (It should work now!!!)
10. Update your iPod Touch
11. (I'm working on this now) Start adding back your Preferences and Music
This is heavy handed but it worked for me.

I have tried disabling firewall with complete shutdown, no joy. I have had itunes on previous computer with no probs - please help, losing faith!

are you installing the upgrade in a different admin account from one in which QuickTime had previously been installed?
if so, try logging into that other admin account and trying the upgrade from there, as per the following document:

i m getting error msg when i m trying to download an update my phone through sony website. it says exception:java.lang.NullPointerException.
so i hv called the sony and they told me that i m missing one of the softwares. so call sun java and get that software. so i want to know which software can remove this error from my pc and from where i can download it. plz help me in this so i can use this update service soon.

Error msg in attempt to download app update

Received error msg when trying to download update 3.1.2 to maccleanse - "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." Is there a fix for this problem?

Most likely pirated software.
FYI... your Mac does maintenance for you. There's no need to download purchased or free so called "cleaning" utilities on a Mac.
If you have problems with your Mac, you will need to use Lion Recovery, not third party.
I did an ASC forum search for MacCleanse here. Way more negative input then positive.

Ran installation asst. several times for XI and at the end of the download, nothing happened. No prompt for where to install the trial program. Don't know why. No error msg. NADA. This is most annoying!

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and Internet Explorer version 11 (latest)
I used to beta test for Microsoft (among a plethora of software developers)
and am no stranger to installing software. Did it all the time (at home and
at work).
The Acrobat Install assistant leaves a lot to be desired, Im afraid. The
last time I ran it from the web site on my PC, it asked where to install and
the default is PROGRAM FILES. What it was saving to that location was the
actual install assistant NOT the trial version of Acrobat XI therein
lies the difference.
