since the latest update I now have a big problem.
my wife recieved a call, it started rining, what also happened is my phone rang too and my iPad mini rang. All our devices display a call from the same person!!
then when the call ended and the person left a message the call back 121 flashed on my wife's phone and you know both my phone and iPad
we have never had this problem before...

On the iPod go to Settings>FaceTime and turn off iPhone Cellular Calls
On the iPhones go to Settings>FaceTime>You can be reached at and uncheck the phone number for the other phone

Based on my test, the version is 2015 Feb too.

Why is adobe requiring installation of McAfee software with latest updates?

I have received my normal notices of update for Adobe acrobat. However, during installation it tells me that it is also installing McAfee antivirus software. I do not want any McAfee program on my computer, ever! There is no indication until installation is underway that you are requiring this install, no way to deselect it, and frankly, McAfee is a pain to remove from any computer, and does not play well with industry specific software I am required to use. WHAT THE *#))!_ IS Adobe playing at here?

If you have Acrobat, rather than the free Adobe Reader, there is no offer of Macafee, so far as I know; you've been scammed.
If you have the free Reader you can turn it off with an option like this:
but if you didn't get that I strongly suspect a scam. There are a lot of fake Reader updates out there and I'd be more worried about the things it didn't mention...

Wifi issue latest updates

After the update to Nokia Belle, my 3G and/or Wifi connection doesn’t work anymore. I get the error message: "Connection failed. Access denied". What should I do?
After the update to Nokia Belle you have to re-enter Wifi settings (network, security type, password, etc) or define your network as a new access point. There are also some problems where certain apps, for example "SPB Wireless monitor", are preventing your phone from accessing 3G and/or Wifi. To check this and solve your problem please do the following:
Check Nokia Store via www.nokia.com/store > "My stuff" if you have previously downloaded SPB Wireless monitor to your phone
If yes, please close Nokia Suite via File > Exit
Connect your phone to computer with a USB cable in mass storage mode (you can set this in the Notification bar via USB > mass storage)
Open Windows Explorer on your computer, go to [phone drive letter]:\Private and rename or delete these folders: 20042D1D and 101f7989
Close Windows Explorer, and unplug the USB cable after using the "safely remove hardware and reject media" function
Reboot your phone
Configure your wireless network, ie. enter accesspoints and passwords, or try to connect using your mobile data plan.
If you want to reinstall SPB Wireless monitor, go to Nokia store to redownload itAfter the update to Nokia Belle, there are problems with Wifi connection using LEAP authentication. The phone already tries to connect before I have time to fully enter the username/password. What should I do?
To solve this timeout problem, please edit the Wifi internet access point. You can find it via via Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Settings>Network destinations. It will be under one of the destinations, most likely in Internet destinations. Then edit the access point via Internet access point > WLAN security settings > EAP Plugin Settings > Eap-LEAP and set "Username" and "Password". Make also sure to set "Prompt password" to "No".

The apps "SPB Wireless Monitor Lite" and "SPB Wireless Monitor" may be preventing your phone from accessing the internet, if they have been downloaded to your phone before the Nokia Belle update. If you are experiencing data connection problems after the Nokia Belle update, then please check if you had downloaded either of these apps earlier on your phone by browsing via your PC to Nokia Store: www.nokia.com/store > "My stuff". If you can see either of these apps, then please first try fix the problem by redownloading these apps on your phone:
Connect your phone with a USB cable to PC and ensure that you have Nokia Suite running
In Nokia Store, select the name of these apps under "My stuff" and then select "Download" > "Download on PC"
After the apps have been redownloaded, please reboot your phone and verify that you are able to browse the internet on your phone for example by opening www.nokia.com in your phone’s browser
If you still get the same error message or if you not able to re-install these apps from Nokia Store for some reason, only then follow the remaining steps to manually disable these apps
Close Nokia Suite via File > Exit

E 63 hangs on updating to latest update of Whatsap...

I was using whatsapp on my E63 since almost 6 months,but recently when the latest update for whatsapp was done, my phone started working really slow and would become unresponsive after some time.
Imitially i thought that my external memory wa bad,so i formatted that.Then i updated my phone software to latest update,but none of that helped.
Can anyone suggets what could be the solution for the same.

Welcome to Nokia Discussions board!
I advise you to uninstall Whatsapp application and see if that makes a difference. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app is one workaround. You may also reinstall the current software via Nokia Suite from the updates tab.

ITunes keeps crashing with latest update when I try to sync my iPad and iPhone. No issues syncing my ATV's. Any suggestions?

In fact, when I am in iTunes and click on either my iPad or IPhone it shows the sync options and ten within 10 or so seconds iTunes gets the "closed unexpectedly" error message. Very frustrating....updated to latest iTunes version yesterday, and this issue started today. Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Latest update issues

Since downloading the latest update I have been experiencing these issues:
Calendar events take a few seconds to upload. All events disappear, then reappear.
Often loose connection to cellular network. Only solution is power off and restart phone. Never experienced this before.
Predictive text is now too predictive- even when spelling words correctly, after hitting space bar word gets changed.
The most frustrating is losing network connection. I will have full bars signal, but no 3G or e. Cannot receive/make calls, texts or email while the phone is in this state. Happens all the time with no apparent cause.
When I uploaded the new software, I did a reset for my phone. Returned it to its factory settings and did not upload the backup.
Is this Apple's way to force their new iPhone 4 on me?
It would be more frustrating surely given its antenae issues...

Well, I went to the Apple store and they gave me a new phone. I had asked for one that did not have the latest update after hearing from the floor staff that the 3G phones were experiencing problems with the update.
They couldn't find one without the latest update, but they assured me it should solve the issues with Calendar and "cannot activate cellular network" and once Apple releases another update, I should be golden.
The issues promptly started again while I was standing outside of the store.
Then, last night I see the 4.1 update had been released. I downloaded it.
No dice.
Please, Apple make your updates work for your products.
Why not just create updates for model?

Are there any known issues with the latest update to iTunes on Windows 7 maxing out the processor and nearly bringing the system to a hault.

Has anyone experienced an issue with the latest update to iTunes (11.2.0.115) for Windows where iTunes pegs out the processor at 97%, 98%, and holds there for maybe 15 minutes before dropping to 50%. During that time, the system is basically useless. You just have to ride it out. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Issues downloading the latest update

For some reason, I am unable to download the latest update. I get to 98% completed install but get a message that the update failed as it was interupted. I have tried on many occasions and always the same issue

Unable to install Latest update to CC manager software

OSX 10.7.5
Can download but incompleted install of latest update to CC manager software.
E12 somthing error everytime. Tried around ten times now.
Just to clarify that is a A12E1 error.
I sure Hope that this doesn't mean that I will lose access to the CC applications.
That would mean I am paying a subscription for no service.
It recomends for trouble shooting tips I should go to the customer support page.
There is no link supplied. When I do mange to find that page there is not suitable help nor mention of this issue.

MacBook Pro 2009 problems after latest update. Anyone else got the same issues?

A couple of nights ago I decided to update my MacBook Pro to the latest version/update. It all went fine, I installed them, rebooted it and logged into my account as usual.
Then it all started, my finder/spotlight slowed down by atleast 50%, my videofiles both .mkv and .avi started acting funny on searching and playing generally.
I then decided to go surf some on the web(safari), it went fine for the first minute. After that it didn't work at all, pages wouldn't start loading at all, and I had to quit the Safari.app and reboot it to even get the thing to work.
Is there anything I can do about this, or to rephrase: is there anyone else with the same issues?

"I updated it to the latest update" as in taking the updates that was given. I'll "explain" some more: The macbook in question didn't have any new updates in atleast the last 1,5 months, as I've been working 14h++ a day with the same things and didn't really have the time to update before the 22.March. Sorry for not stating the obvious before now, but got kinda frustrated and didn't really think thorough the question, but I'm going to try give the most information I can possibly find!
I installed these updates 22. march:
iTunes(10.2.1)
Mac OS X Update Combined(10.6.7)
iWeb Update(3.0.3)
AirPort Utility(5.5.2)
After that update my video playback started getting harder and harder, I could watch .mkv files but I'd get more and more errors or even playback stops. The macbooks performance in finder did also start slowing down.
The following updates was installed 2 June:

iTunes(10.2.2)
Snow Leopard Font Update(1.0)
Security Update 2011-002(1.0)
Java for Mac Os X 10.6 Update 4(1.0)

after that update my safari stopped working properly and my playback of videos got even worse than they got after my updates the 22. March. Included with these things my finder/spotlight started getting slower and slower, until it got to where it is now with files loading atleast 50% slower than before.

I did not use the repair permissions before 3. June(fter the latest security update)
I simply installed the updates and got prompted with the restart from the updates, followed it and then logged in after the updates was finished with the configuring.
I have now repaired and verified the permissions, and can't seem to find any difference in the performance of my macbook.

Flash latest update & 13 have major 'lag' issues?...

I tend to use flash to play a number of MMO games,... after the update last week, everything went from normal smooth operations to major 'lag time' between giving the computer a command & that command being executed. (In Real Time Games, I hope you can understand the issue - it made all the Real Time app's unplayable.) at first I wrote this off to server loading,... but on reflection, that didn't seem to fit. I remember that the only update that happened recently was a flash update, and that the update took place about the same time I started having the issues.
So,... I went to adobe site & loaded the most recent version of flash (12), and the problems got worse. I then loaded the beta version (13), and the lag problem during normal game play went away. (so, it is definitely a flash problem.) However, with 13 installed, there is a major cursor lag when you move the cursor while holding down any key on the keyboard. Again,.. almost all MMO RT games require you to make extremely fast movements while holding down a key for a specific effect,.... nearly impossible with flash 13.
I've now confirmed the same problem and effects for both the latest update of flash & flash 13 with all my on-line team-mates (over 100 people all over the globe), and 100% of them have had exactly the same problems,... with both the latest update and with flash 13.
I don't know what you did in the last update,... but whatever it was was really wrong....
We have a huge (world-wide) tournament coming up this coming weekend (29th-30th of March - 2014), and none of us are mission capable because of your changes to flash,.... please,... please find us a fix & find it fast?......

I have now tried gaming with both flash 12 & 13 with hardware acceleration both enabled and disabled,... flash 13 with hardware acceleration enabled works the best, but there is still a significant cursor lag that didn't exist prior to the last update. Thanks again JMaster5K

Hi sweepdastone and welcome to the community,
You could open task manager and see what is using up all your CPU or you could download the tool from the link and it will give you a more complete picture of what is running.
You're not running all of the antivirus programs at once, are you? Running more than one will conflict and you'll end up with no virus protection at all, just a lot of conflicts and CPU usage.
Seeing as how you just got a warning about a partition, I'd run a hard drive diagnostic tool and see if there are any hard drive problems. You might have a failing hard drive. I would back up any files you don't want to lose because just running a hard drive diagnostic could make a failing hard drive fail.
Edit: As far as your partitions go, there are actually four. One you can't see and there's files on two of the other ones that are hidden. Two of those have to do with recovery. The factory default image is on one.

I have the iPhone 5 and have with 6.0.1 software version. Although I had them when I moved from iPhone 4 to the 5, the latest update has most of my songs on the phone listed in grey (over 95% of them) and I can't play them. They are still listed though.

They are still listed in the iTunes library. When I look in the Summary for the iPhone, it shows Audio as only .16 GB - I have over 5 GB of songs, so what gives?
P.S. When I look at my Playlists most of the songs are greyed out. However, at the bottom of the list there is a cloud icon with a downward facing arrow. When I click on it each song starts to "load" and after a few minutes I have the songs back on in the list. I have to do this to all my playlists (I had over 100) in order to get access to all my songs. Then I did a sync and it happened again!
I use iCloud for documents and some other things (calendar, contact, etc.) but am not aware that I have anything music-wise in the cloud. Any thougnts?

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.
