Software Modem and Audio driver errors!!

I currently have a Toshbia Satellite A215 S7413. Running on Windows Vista. Recently when downloading intunes, I incurred Errors in my Software Modem and Realtek Audio within my device manager. Unable to update drivers. i currently have no sound. I need a detailed description on how to repairs these. Message reads "Windows cannot read the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be missing or corrupted. (code 39). Any suggestions?

Zoom H4n and audio driver error -2

I have a newish Intel Macbook with GB 09, and a Zoom H4n recorder that I have been using as an USB input device into GB with no problems.
However, GB no longer recognizes the H4n. The drill is to have GB open and connect the H4n to a USB port. The computer detects the device and asks if I want to use it as an input device. I say yes, and then this message appears:
"error code -2 was returned by the audio driver"
Is this a problem in the Mac? Do I need to reinstall something?

Did you by any chance ever find a solution to your problem with the H4n?? I'm having exactly the same problem. I think it might have something to do with a preference file. I didn't disconnect the zoom properly before unplugging it, and since then I am having the same problems as you??? Very frustrating....

Your model uses the AMD graphics driver only. Don't install the Intel one.

G510 Windows 8.1 Pro X64 Conexant Audio Driver Error and Driver Update Request

When are we to expect some updates in the drivers for G510, specifically for both graphics (Intel and AMD)
Also I am using G510S's Lenovo Power Management for Windows 8.1(running with no issues) as Windows 8 version was not compatible and there is no Win8.1 version.
And there is an update available for Conexant Audio in windows update and after the update when ever I play music, a few seconds in the Audio Device stops(a red cross on volume icon) and then troubleshooter automatically runs and fixes the audio device and audio comes back.
Also I would like to request that you bring back Dobly Advanced Audio v2 that was available with WINDOWS 8 version of the driver. It was just much more convienient and I liked its graphics equilizer much better.

i just did a windows 8.1 reinstall, and now suddenly my audio doesnt work? i torubleshoot the issue and it suggests uninstalling and re installing, but i dont know how to do that cant find the driver software someone help?

What kind of reinmstall did you perform? If you used the recovery media, then this will be pretty simple. Boot to the recovewry media again and this time select the Reinstall drivers and applications option. Find the audio driver on the list of available drivers, put a tick in the box to its left and then click on the install button in the lower right hand corner of the window. The driver will be installed. Your list will be different than the following one, but this is only an example.

I got all drivers up to date including the BIOS, everything is working fine (the sound works, microphone works...) but this error is kind of annoying to my eyes so if anyone know how to fix it please help.
I tried to uninstall this and let windows update install it again => not worked, same problem.
I tried to re-install the Realtek driver (uninstall - restart machine - install - restart machine) => same problem
And another probelm which has not been solved yet is the Bluetooth icon keep blinking on battery mode (windows 7), you can see more in this thread

Mac mini (late 2012) Windows 8 Pro: no HDMI audio & driver error

Mac mini (late 2012) server, installed boot camp on the second HD and gave entire HD to bootcamp partition.
Installed Windows 8 Pro from USB key created during installation from iso file, activated with Microsoft. Everything went smoothly, have one issue that I want to share, to see if anyone has been able to resolve. By the way, magic track pad, as expected only have basic functions supported, left and right click, scroll with two fingers, "tap to click" and secondary click with two fingers tap.
Only one issue so far but pretty major one. Audio through HDMI cable doesn't work, all sound plays via Mac-mini's internal speakers. Windows Device Manager shows error for "High Definition Audio Device" - The device cannot start. (Code 10).

Well, arguably bootcamp 5.0.1 does support Widows 7 or higher, there no reference anywhere that it doesn't.
I was able to fix issue by updating driver using intel audio driver. Everything works now...

after that i reinstalled all drivers, but it showing some error in audio device driver.
the error code is 10 and it is telling "media device missing"
I have installed UAA driver + conexant HD audio driver
Moreover i couldnt find any wireless LAN icon in network connection tab.
could any body help me..Since i am in Germany..Now helpless!

Garageband Audio driver error

Whenever I try to open Garage Band 3 I get a error that says Garageband has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI or audio Drivers. I have installeded all of the drivers correctly and they worked prior to getting Garageband 3. I also went to the Audio and MIDI drive utility and checked for any unused drivers.

I'm getting the same error!! I have never connected anything besides my external hard drive, where my music is kept and played through iTunes. I have no idea what's going on. I haven't saved any of my garageband songs on the external, but now it's acting up. Yeesh. This is the second problem I've encountered with the new mac books. Where can I get these "drivers"? My computer is less than a week old and everything should be running correctly!

Jerky Video and Display Driver Error

We use CS3 at our production house. My editor has told me he is now getting jerky videos and the following error. This pops up in a yellow triangle at the bottom of the screen which when I click on it, an Events Window is opened.
Error: "Desktop Display Mode has been reset because the video card returned an error. Please reset the Desktop Display Mode in the Playback Settings dialog as this may impact your playback performance."
The computer is a Sony Vaio with 1GB RAM, P4 w/HT, RAID5 of SCSI drives, and ATI Radeon 1600 Pro. We are running Windows XP Pro and Premiere Pro CS3. Supposedly the video just started being jerky the last month or two. Windows update issue? I have tried updating the video card drivers (released March 2009) and also changed the Desktop Display to all three options ... Comptable, Standard and GPU. The video still plays back and exports to tape jerky. However, if we export to an AVI on the local disk, then pull that video back into an older version of Premiere Pro we can export to tape.
Any thoughts!?!?! I have found similar qusetions in other forums, but it seems like no one has an answer.

It is very common for OS updates to render display drivers obsolete, and most people do not even know that these are installed. If you have tried the most recent driver (replaceing an older one), and not helped, it might be something else.
The aspect of the video Exporting poorly, leads me to believe that your system might be underpowered, especially in the I/O sub-system. A slow, fragmented, or full HDD can do the same. That would NOT address the warning message, though. That almost has to be a vid-card, or driver issue.
Also, if your Assets have to be decoded by PrPro, that will tax the system. If you Export as DV-AVI, then the CPU does not need to work overtime on the conversion.
Please give a complete description of the Assest, especially their CODEC's. Please give a system breakdown, paying special attention to the I/O sub-system (HDD's specs. and all configuration details).

8.1 Disabled number keys and audio driver

I have a Lenovo G780 lap top that I just bought about a year in a half ago. I purchased it from Lenovo with Windows 8.0. When I updated to 8.1 recently, it wiped out the use of several of my numeric keys on both the number keys at the top across on my keyboard and also on my numeric keypad. The update also wiped out my Dolby Audio Driver. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I already had a Microsoft tech dial into my laptop remotely and he was unable to resolve it and referred me to Lenovo. Ugh. BTW - the only way I am able to type several the the different numbers is by connecting an external keyboard to my lap top. These are the numbers that work using the number keys going across the top of my laptop keyboard: 123456 These are the numbers that work using the laptop number key pad on the right of my laptop keyboard: 13456789 In both cases, the zero key is not working.

For the “unable to start the Dolby audio driver”, you can use the following knowledgebase article to correct it:

For the non functioning numeric keys, try doing this:
- Go to the Control Panel, Ease of Access Center, Set Up Mouse Keys. At the bottom under Other Settings: Use mouse keys when NUM LOCK is: Make sure OFF is selected.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum relating to K7N2G Sound Problem. It uses the same sound system as your board and should be able to help you.

DV7-4060si beats and audio driver issue

Whenever I try and change the EQ in the Beats application, or the bass/treble in the tone controls, nothings. I click save, then when i go back to it, its reverted to default.
Also, when I try update my audio driver, I reboot and suddenly theres no sound. This is fixed by reinstalling the original drivers.
Help?

Entire System Stoped respond and Hard Drive error

Hello Sir,
I have HP Pavilion g6 2005 ax laptop brought in October 2012. I upgraded it to Windows 8 64 bit.Now for some days my system is stoped responding. When I run HP Diagnostic tool, at hard drive section it give error code:GGC75W-66B6B4-MFPX1G-60TM03. At present I have 2 partition on my PC. I also made the backup of my data for security reason.
From one post I've found that to check error I've to run SpeedFan. So I downloaded it and run it,and it also give error "hard disk has 1080 pending sector".
So please give me any suggestion regarding this issue, would I've to take my pc at HP Service center? or any software can fix this issue? Please hep me.

The error code clearly explains that the HDD is failed, so for this the best solution would be to replace the HDD. And there is no S/W which can help you regarding this issue. And as you have crated a backup for your data i don't think you should have any issues in replacing the HDD.

G560 and audio driver with XP

Iv'e upgraded my G560 to XP. I get a blue screen sometimes, it mentions a driver problem, unfortunatly I did note not down the exact error mesage, but it was very generic, so I do not know what device's drive coudl cause this.
I see 2 oddities in Device manager:
Under "Monitor", "Thinkpad Display 1366x768" is listed twice.
Shouldn't there be only one monitor listed? Can I disable one?
Under "Sound, video and game controllers", I see 2 audio related drivers listed:
Conexant SmartAudio HD
And
Intel(R) Display Audio
Do I need both drivers?

I only use rear panel because of my 5.1 setup, and the speaker works perfectly in windows 8 x64 and ubuntu

And yes, there are several exclamation marks in device manager, and the realtek driver doesn't work at all, I installed all the other xp x64 driver from the product support section
I have erased the xp x64 partition, and I tried to install the realtek driver in xp x64 virtual machine, and it even shows the same symptoms, either failed install or successfull install with no sound at all, and sound section of the control panel, said "no audio device"
This is the first time I encountered so many problem with one mobo during years of my computer hobby
