Software perfect install and operation 7 years ago, now won't install

Win XP sp3 Officejet All-in-One 7680 software won't install on either of two different computer with same windows version. Have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and "HP Dr." Original successful install was on sp2, no problem encountered after sp3 update. Need complete install flow chart taking into account all possible outcomes and system configurations. No need for ink until this is solved.

Once all the troubleshooting has been done now you can go ahead and reinstall the software, please click on the link below depending on how you would like to install, USB or Wireless:

Lion's Boot Camp Assistant 4.x should have downloaded Apple drivers as part of also partitioning.
You need Apple drivers. And you then need to add on your own audio driver.
You can run Assistant at any time to download and save a set of drivers.

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Reinstall iPhoto.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

I tried opening Muse and update message came up. I tried updating and I got the istall file is damaged message. I tried updating again but get same message. I tried shutting down computer and opening up muse got up date message attemped update and got same message. I was able to open Muse up but it doesn't seem to want to update. I am Creative Cloud member and also have been noticing programs running and opening very slowly. I have attach screen shot of message. In your Adobe A/c did you look under 'My Orders.? That's where you'll find the download link.
If it's not there, you can download PSE7 from a link in the comments here - http://prodesigntools.com/direct-download-links-for-lightroom-3-and-photoshop-elements-8.h tml/comment-page-1#comment-2186. Make sure you also read the linked instructions. Follow those very important instructions EXACTLY or you will likely encounter authorisation errors or download the latest version instead.
You will still need your serial number. You should be able to findthis in your Adobe A/c under 'My Products'.

Leopard completely trashed my HDD and now won't install on my MBP

I only moved away from Windows in the summer and now I feel I'm no better off. I've just upgraded my new MBP (only a few months old) to Leopard and it failed. Not only did it fail with some Sibling Link error (which fsck_hfs -r and other internet search result recommendations failed to resolve) but it resulted in my having to completely reformat my drive!
I then let the install disk do a format of my drive and install and now I get this "The installer was unable to create the folder BaseSystem.pkg on the volume ...." or words to that effect. So now I have a new MBP that won't boot and won't install an operating system!
What is this? Apple's Vista?
Is there anything I can do to get this operating system to install???

do you have a software install disk that came w/ your computer. If so, load it up, go to disk utility, zero out your HD, and then reinstall the OS from that disk. Leopard absolutely, completely, totally, and irreversibly hosed my pbg4, so much so that not only would it not eject the fri@@@@ Leopard DVD, it wouldn't even cotton pickin' START UP, save for booting into Open Firmware.. I decided that before I trashed it, I'd try one more time to start it up, hold down the **** eject key, to see what happened. I waited 30 minutes to let myself cool off before using the **** thing as target practice and, well, what'd'ya know, it started up, ejected the Leo DVD, immediately following which I inserted the disc for 10.2.7, shut it down, started it up, it booted immediatley into the installer for that OS, I went to disk utility, zero'd out the HD, after which I went about installing 10.2.7. I'm now on my pbg4 w/ that system installed and it's working (so far) flawlessly. What an absolute crock of rat @@@@ Leopard is turning out to be. Oh, btw, on this pbg4 there were no haxies, no 10.4.10 widgets, nothing fancy, save perhaps for Nisus Express and Firefox. I have Leo on a separate HD on my g5 dual 1.8 which is exactly where it's going to stay until all those bright bulbs at Apple can figure out what the **** is going on.

Bought a hard copy of Final Cut Pro 7 a few years ago, now I want to update it to the new FCP without having to repurchase it.

Originally, I bought Final Cut Pro 7 as a hard copy (at the apple store, not app store). Now, since there have been many new updates to the software (Final Cut Pro X, and so on) - I made an attempt to download the updates from the app store; but it doesn't seem to realize that I already have Final Cut Pro installed, and it's trying to make me repurchase it (I'm not in the mood to spend another $300). I'm aware that people who purchased Final Cut Pro on the app store are able to receive updates for free - so why can't I?

no upgrade path avail. But worth every penny
download the 30d free trial first! It's a very different app compsred to what you are use to.

IMac Clean install and now won't install Lion 10.7.5

My mid 2007 iMac was haveing trouble connecting to the internet via a browser and I took it into the Genius Bar and their only suggestion was to do a clean install and then see what happens. I wiped the computer and tried a clean install. It wouldn't install OS X 10.7 Lion (which this computer was previously running). I took it back into the Genius Bar and they had to install 10.6 Snow Leopard. And now it won't upgrade to Lion (that it used to run till it started having problems).
What's going on?
Now, 3 weeks later, on our other mid 2007 iMac is starting to have the same issues.
Is there something wrong with the OS? I go to network diagnostics and it says it is connecting to the internet just fine. But it won't connect via a browser or do software updates.
I go to Airport Utilities and it wants me to forget the AirPort Extreme. Exact thing happened on the other iMac and I couldn't ever recover (or discover) the Extreme.

You mean 2011 or do you mean Mountain Lion? Lion came out in mid 2011 and ML in 2012. And yes, 7,1 is the model identifier. Here is something I found on running the current OS:

Did you try recovery?
Not sure if your machine would be able to qualify for the recovery disk assistant (since yours would need the assistant to create a recovery partition)

If that works, you should try using the recovery option (hit Command + Option + R during restart) to connect to Apple's servers and reinstall Lion.

Sold my ipod years ago, now have a itouch 4G I need help

Years ago I sold my ipod nano but now I just bought a itouch 4G off of ebay. I tried connecting the cable to my computer where I stored my nano songs but I couldn't get the touch's icon to show up on itunes. At best, the adapter indicated that it was charging the battery. To further complicate things I have a new Apple ID, which is obviously different from the one I had years ago. I don't think I can get my original ID's password back since I retired the email and can't request for password. Can you please help me in transferring songs from my computer to my itouch?
By the way, is there any way to find out a WIFI password? I have no clue how to figure out my home's WIFI password.

Aren't they already loaded on your iPod? If they are why do you need to reload?
Unlike music you can redownload Apps Store purchases without being charged again. Make sure you are logged into your iTunes account and the computer you are on is Authorized.
