Software request shows as completed but software not deployed to user computer.
User from my organization has submitted software request from the SCCM software portal, but installation doesn't happen. The User was automatically added to application deployment
active directory group , but software not appearing in the application catalog for further process and software request shows installation completed. What would be the issue?

Ah... it looks like you are using the Application Approval Workflow Solution, which brings SCOrch and Service
Manager in to play. You'll have to trace through the runbook to see what actions trigger the closing of the service request. If you're not seeing anything happen on the ConfigMgr side, its likely a problem with the runbook.
Do you see the application request in ConfigMgr at all? Does it actually get approved by the workflow?

I had a similar issue with Photoshop when I upgraded to both Snow Leopard and Lion. it turned out to be Rosetta is no longer present in the newer OS. Once I upgraded to Lion, Appleworks stopped working after all these years. -

Ok, if other devices are connecting but just not your MacBook then let's start troubleshooting the MacBook to possibly find out why.
Please try each of the following, in order, until hopefully resolved:
Note the following are excerpts from an OS X Daily article.
* Turn Airport on & off – You can do this via the Airport menu bar or from the Network Preferences. This is the first thing you should try when troubleshooting Mac wireless problems.
* Make sure Wireless/Airport card software & firmware is up to date – This is usually done just by going to the Software Update menu, if there are any updates available for your Mac or Airport, install them.
* Delete and recreate connection – Try deleting and recreating/reestablishing the wireless connection, sometimes a setting can be corrupted and this may fix it.
* Create a new Network Location – Similar to the above suggestion, try creating a new and different wireless network location to see if it resolves the connection problems.
* Change DHCP auto settings to manual – sometimes there is a problem with the DHCP server, and if you manually set an IP address on the network you can be fine. Remember to set the IP to a high number so it wouldn’t interfere with other DHCP machines. As long as you have the subnet mask, router, and DNS settings configured manually as well, this shouldn’t be a problem.
* Flush the DNS cache – Launch the Terminal and enter the following command onto one full line within the Terminal: dscacheutil -flushcache
* Zap the PRAM – Reboot your Mac and hold Command+Option+P+R during restart until you hear another chime, let the Mac boot as usual.
* Delete Wireless Config files – Delete com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist and com.apple.internetconfig.plist files from ~/Library/Preferences and reboot
* Trash your home directories SystemConfiguration – Remove all files within ~/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and then reboot your Mac.
* Reset your Mac’s System Management Controller (SMC) – For MacBook and MacBook Pro’s: Shutdown the MacBook/Pro, remove the battery, disconnect the power, hold the Power Key for 15 seconds. Replace the battery, reconnect power, and zap the PRAM and wait for 2 chimes before letting the keys go. Let boot as usual. -

I can't find that printer on the canon eu support website (canon uses model numbers on that site, not series designations) , and canon printers are not easy to get to work well on archlinux.

I loaded a bunch of free Apps (maybe too many?) right after I got my 4s yesterday, and at some point I noticed that none of the downloaded Apps would work. The screen would blink when I tapped the icons, but the Apps stopped opening. Resetting the phone didn't help, so I decided to delete all the Apps I had downloaded and start over.
I can get the "Purchased" list to show up by pressing Updates button (is there another way?) but the show as "installed" in greyed-out letter, so I can't figure out how to get them back.Your iPad screens aren't completely filled up are they? If they are, you will only be able to find them using the search feature on the iPad.

two things to be looked upon in this case. First thing is about the battery. Once the battery has enough charge in it we can try a force restore on the phone to re-install the iOS.
> Try a hard reset of the phone (Press and hold the HOME button and the Sleep/Wake button until the phone restarts and comes up with Apple logo). After trying this step, try charging the phone and see if the battery holds the charge.

I can not get the iPad to connect to the internet thru the router it shows the modum but will not connect it keeps saying choose a netwokand the IP Address it automaticaly puts in is wrong?

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

App store shows apps installed but are not on my computer
I recently installed Mavericks on my mid-2012 MacBook Air and was updating my apps but found that the App Store shows a several apps as installed but are not currently on my computer. I saw a couple previous notes that addresses a special process to deauthorize/reauthorize iTunes which is supposed to correct this but the note was written in 2012 and also refers to a special right-click function that isn't working in Mavericks.
Any ideas how to fix this?
