Software unavailable at the time (ios7 problem )
I've downloaded the ios 7 update but it won't let me install it. It says software unavailable at the time , try again later

So, I had my problem solved!! (afhter installing the iOS7 iTunes didin't recognized my device and the "Connect to iTunes" image appeared, there was nothing that I tought would helped me...until)
What I did was to change the USB port from where my iPhone was first connected, after this iTunes recognized my device saying it was in "Recovery Mode" which is ok, so what I did was to press the "recover" button and then my iPhone started to recover from iOS7! Just follow the steps there.
Then I restore my previous version with iTunes (iTunes will say "Wellcome to your new iPhone"), so I can have all my data back on since my last backup, the restore took certain time but after that I was good to go with my iPhone 5 with the new iOS7.

Same issue. I emailed apple and they had me call apple. Not really any help. Did all the troubleshooting listed and to have further help diagnosing problems it isn't free. I explained to the rep that I have seen others having same issues - he didn't know anything about. This is first time I have had problems. I can't even purchase song on my PC but can on my iphone. I just would like to be able to access my account. Afraid to sign out of itunes in case I can't even get to my library etc.

When I tap the mail icon on my iPhone 4s, the menu of email servers pops up. I already have a me acct that I check all the time, no problem. So I choose iCloud, sign in and it tells me that I already have an acct….so why can't I get to my emails then? I've turned the phone off and on twice....that has fixed it in the past but not this time....

I checked Billings and I am showing a 4G footprint there. I'm concerned about your connection to the network as a whole.
I would recommend powering off the device, pulling the battery, pulling the sim card. Leave them out for about 10 seconds. Put it all back together and power the phone back on. This will reactivate the phone to the network.
If you're confident you're not going to be near any Canadian or Mexican borders or go international try turning on your Data Roaming to "this trip only":

I recently loaded Lion on both my laptop and desktop. On the laptop only, iTunes is now trying to load automatically literallly all the time! What can I do to stop the madness???
The only way to reinstall Safari on a Mac running v10.7 Lion is to restore OS X using OS X Recovery
Instead of restoring OS X in order to reinstall Safari, try troubleshooting extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
If it's not an extension or plug-in issue, delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test. -

Apple never announces a time, it will always be between 12:00:01AM Pacific Time and 11:59:59PM Pacific Time on the date Apple announces.

Hi, Im experiencing multiple crashes on my macbook pro. I have recently (past 2 weeks) installed yosemite. Could this have something to do with it?
I use logic pro 9 all day every day but am finding it very difficult to record with a constantly unstable mac! It just cuts out and restarts itself.
Any ideas?

Mike, I would say Yosemite has -everything- to do with it. Logic 9 has several known problems with Yosemite.
You should not upgrade the OS without first checking boards like this one, the only solution for Logic 9 users is to roll back the operating system to whatever you were using that was stable. (Logic-X isn't so great in Yosemite either).
Because stability is important to me I'm using Snow Leopard and Logic 9,1,5, and my upgrade to Logic 9.1,5 was only a few month ago. -
E75 software: Restart all the time

i have updated my nokia E75 to the latest software version 202.12.01
but it keeps restarting randomally,, so it can be a 5minutes period or even working for 3 hours
but at the end it keeps restarting for no reason..
i even tried to send it it to the repair shop, and all they can do is changing the cover ($40)

thanksHi, there! Sorry for your trouble. I think the E75 is a lovely device. Let's see if we can get it running normally again.
1. Have you installed anny applications just before the trouble started? If so - try to delete the apps and se how it goes.
If not:
2. Take out your memorycard and see how it goes without it, it could be a corrupted memcard or a faulty one - backup pictures, music etc and format it.
If not:
3. Go for the soft reset. Diall *#7370# - This will delete everything on your devices phonememory, so do a backup of messages, contacts, calendar notes etc with Nokia Pc suite.
This manouver often clear out any glitches - and you will start out with a fresh device.
If nothing helps, you will need to take it to a Nokia care point and let them look at it. - If you do have the possibility to reflash your device with the latest fw - do that, and then do the soft reset.

Help, I am about to pull my hair out, can't get into a locked drive and Time Machine problem
I've screwed everything up, I think. I had Time Machine doing backups to an external 500Gig drive and somehow it got locked. I went into Get Info to try and change the access but it won't allow me. On top of this problem, my original drive died and I can't get into Time Machine to restore. When I click "Enter Time Machine", nothing happens. I created an eDisk and a startup disk to another external drive that I'm using now, but since everything that's been backed up is on the other drive that I can't access. When I try accessing the drive it gives: "The folder “G-DRIVE ” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents." I'm not knowledgeable enough to work from the command line, so if I need to do that to access the drive, please walk me though it. As for the Time Machine problem, I have no idea how to recover anything since it won't even come up, it just sits there. Outside of blowing my brains out, I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't afford to take it to Apple to let them try and fix it.
Hello, not sure how this might affect a TM drive, or not, but...
Here is what i needed to do for my drive "320GB HD", the last command is just for clean up
Open Terminal and type these commands carefully with the spaces & change 320GB HD to the name of your drive.
sudo chflags 0 "/volumes/320GB HD"
sudo chown root "/volumes/320GB HD"
sudo chmod 1775 "/volumes/320GB HD"
sudo -k
That said, these should be sufficient to do the job:
sudo chflags 0 "/Volumes/320GB HD"
sudo chmod a+rx "/Volumes/320GB HD" -
I'm waiting for my new iPhone 5s to be delivered. I lost my iPhone 5 but did have it backed up on my MacBook Pro. I was using iOS6 at the time. Will I have a problem restoring the data to my new iPhone 5s assuming it will come with iOS7?
No, you should not. There are problems trying to go the other way, but updating a newer iOS release from a backup of an older iOS release has always been supported and is the basic means of setting up a new device from a previous one.

I want to start Time Machine. I bought a Goflex Home netwrork storage system, which says it is compatible with Imac. Each time I go online to try to get any updates, it always comes back saying Error. In other words, I can't start Time Machine because I can't get any software updates. Anyone else experiencing problems with Seagate software updates?
If you want to use Time Machine the Seagate software is unnecessary. The drive is probably ntfs format which is not for the Mac.
Manually preparing a new disk for Time Machine
If you want to erase a disk before using it with Time Machine, follow these steps:
Open Disk Utility (located in the Utilities folder).
Connect the disk if it isn't already attached.
In the left side of the Disk Utility window, select the disk you want to use with Time Machine.
Optional: If you want to partition the disk, click the Partition tab and select a layout. Make sure "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" is selected in the Format menu for the partition that will be used for backups. Click Apply.
Click the Erase tab.
Optional: If you want to securely erase the disk, click Security Options to configure, then click OK.
Click Erase.
After erasing, open Time Machine preferences in System Preferences and configure as described in the section above.

Having problems with ipad mini and Siri. Works sporadically, will work once and then the second time not. Worked all the time with the original Mailbox app. Then started doing the same thing when I installed the new update so wondering if it is software?
