Software update even though it's updated
when I launch itunes it tells me to update my software every time even though it is updated and it won't download any of my m4a's to the player. what's going on?

I have Parallels Version 7.0.15094 but on upgrading to Mountain Lion it has been moved to the Incompatible Software folder. From what I've read Version 7 is supposed to be compatible so does anyone know why this has happened and what I can do to fix it?
I have the same version on my MBP and upgraded to Mountain Lion. It's right where it was before the upgrade. I would try to run it and see if it crashes. If you've had parallels for a while and followed the upgrade path, it may have left some loose baggage on an upgrade. I would back up the virtual machines and try a clean load. Check the parallels site. They seem to have most of the bases covered.

Software Update Error in Nokia X6 16GB
I bought my Nokia X-6 on 4th Nov , 2010.
The same day , i got a update notification from Nokia on "Ovi Music 11.4" , "Ovi Maps 3.4" and "Here and now 2.0". I successfully updated these things
But after that , everytime I am going to Menu->Application->SW update , i am getting "Refreshing failed.Try again Later".
I tried going from *#0000# also.
There while doing check for updates , it is showing "Connection Error".
My current Software Version is "V 20.0.005" , but i have seen in discussions that V 21 has been released.
Please let me know , how to solve this problem.Yep I got the x6 and can't even update anything .... every time i go to the update screen a pop up screen comes ... it says that sorry the nokia servers are busy you may try again and then pop out .... I tried somthing else i disconnect my internet connection then go to update page it saied you have update then I reconnect my internet then clicked the update then it update the software and when i tried the exact pattern for update softwares when it comes to downloading it just says that instal failed for folowing programms ... does it even possible? i mean ofcourse its a free service but it should have some support costumer to take care you know ... I just got my iPod touch, I updated my iTunes and my iPod is still not showing up in iTunes. It is telling me the required software is not installed even though my iTunes is up to date

hello. i am having hard time with my iphone 4s. actually, i did set my passcode using the tamil keyboard. my passcode was 'ka' and 'lai'. there's no such alphabet in the keyboard. in order to get "lai" we've to tap "la" and "i". so, it will transform into "lai". i did this in my settings. and when i locked the phone and tapped the word "ka', "la" and "i', this time the two alphabets are not transforming into "lai". it keep remains as two different alphabets. so, i couldn't unlock my iphone 4s. then, i decided to factory reset it via itunes. but, there's a problem again. when i tapped the restore button it is asking me to update iphone software even though it is up to date. and yet when i clicked the download button, it will start the downloading process but after sometime there will be an error in downloading. so, until now i couldn't unlock my iphone. i hope there will a reply as soon as possible.

MacBook Pro 10.6.8 My @me account has been wiped of all mail, will not send or receive and iCal will not recognise user name or password even though i haven't changed it. All this after a scheduled software update. Any ideas??

The amount of RAM is not dependant on the operating system. It is all about the model of you Mac.
10.6.8 is the version of OS X that is installed on your system. It has no real baring on the amount of RAM that CAN be installed.
Personally I have never had good luck with Corsair RAM. I have always had good luck with Crucial and Kingston.

Storage space on iCloud is not a substitute for storage space on the iPad. You need sufficient storage space on your iPad to accomodate the download. How much Available space do you have? Go to Settings>General>Usage
How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem -
I updated my software to iOS6 and now my phone won't automatically join known wifi networks even though I have it on. It goes back to 3G every so often when I'm at home instead of using wifi, and each time I ask to join it asks for my wifi password
Try this for your home Wi-Fi:
On your iPhone, Settings > Wi-Fi > select your home network > "forget this network"
Power down (unplug) your wireless router
Restart your iPhone
Plug in your router
Re-join that network

When going to your software updates on your device it will provide you with the latest available update for your device.
the iPhone 4 will update to iOS 7.0.4 provided all other updates the device is asking for has been completed.

cannot restore aback up from my computer after a softwared update. i kep getting an error message saying the phoneis disconnected even though it it not.
If you're not a developer then you really should not have upgraded.
I'm unsure how you can fix this as you have already done a back-up on iOS 7 and apple don't support firmware downgrades. -
Help! I have an older iPad. I am not sure which version. I cannot access the internet even though it shows a strong Wi-Fi signal. I have tried re-starting and when I tried to search for updates I couldn't access. It told me an error had occured. What can I do? Thanks!

The lates iTunes (10.5) requires Mac OS 10.5.8 or higher. You appear to be running 10.4.X. You will need to upgrade your Mac OS.
