Software update for my Product Code

I guess my product code is 0596011 but I'm not very sure. When are you gonna release the 52.0.007 firmware for my phone? I need to know if releasing will take days, weeks, months or years, because I can't wait. Thank you .

Have a look here.. for how to search your Product Code.. and also to check whether update is available or not..
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/can-i-update
BTW this is a User-to-User forum.. so if currently there is no update available then no one on this forum can tell you with any authority.. when that will be.. You will have to wait.. and keep on checking...

  • Belle Update for N8 Product code 059D7G5

    Hi,
I was hoping to get belle update for my N8 in Ghana but since the release of the update, I have consistently checked with Nokia suite for the update but I always get no update available. Yesterday, I got an update notification only to realise that it is a service pack 1 for symbian anna.
I have gone through the list of product codes and do not find my product code in the list.
    I know I have a genuine Nokia N8, T-Mobile branded.
I had the anna updatte the first time I connected the phone to Nokia Suite and was hoping to to get the belle update this time.
I was wondering if my product code is getting the belle update or if there is something I may have done that is preventing me from getting the update.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Post in the relevant thread in the Software Updates section, you have a much greater chance of getting a sensible reply there.

  • Firmware updates unavailable for most product code...

    Hi,
it's over a month now that Nokia has released the latest 40.x.x firmware for its 5800 model, or should I say to a small, privilleged amount of customers? I have purchased a Nokia 5800 via Amazon.de, totally unbranded, product code is 0578314, and up to now, the new firmware is unavailable. Why does it take so long for the firmware to become available at least for the unbranded country versions? Technically, there seems to be no problem at all, since many users simply change their product code and install the new firmware, but I am asking here for an official way to get the new firmware in time. The massive delay in firmware updates for different product codes is simply a pain for us paying customers who want the latest features available.

    [quote]
Actually, Nokia already is using a similar system. If your phone is unbranded, you still have to consider if its a Regional or Country Variant (similar to the SE phones, and the China versions I stated above). There are basically two types of unbranded handsets: regional generic and country variants.
    [/quote]
This fact is not clearly obvious when you buy a phone, so how does a customer know if he gets a CV (copuntry variant) or any other type of phone before buying? When I bought my unbranded 5800XM, I was still thinking that I get a perfect, free phone, and that firmwareupdates can be applied when available. It was absolutely not apparent to me that I would have to wait three months or so, before I can upgrade my phone to a new firmware, once it becomes available

  • Software update for my Nokia N86, product code 05...

    hi,
i know this issue has been discussed a zillion tymes but still am unable to understand and i need a solution to this problem. After entering the product code from ma Nokia N86 it tells me that a version 30.009 is available for update. but wen i try updating using ovi suite or the software updater tool it gives me different errors every tyme including check the cable connection or no updates available. i am living in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Please guide me how can i update my software in this region?

    Phone  is made
Phone is designed for different markets and countries and phone operators all have different firmware      country specific local law specific and operator specific .
That results in a very large number of product codes for the same phone  .
Nokai make firmware pass it back to the operators or wait for it to clear  local laws .
Its then passed back to the Nokai server   so you wait until your product code has the update .
So if the firmware has been released for your product code you get it .
Or firmware xxx has been released for some N86 rest to follow .
Product code refers to the phone   .
In your case its a N86  RM -484  SSA Multi Indigo   latest software  /firmware    V30 .009

  • Help: I have recently downloaded the newest software version for apple products. I have a iPod touch. After the process of updating my software, my photo app doesn't work anymore.

Help: I have recently downloaded the newest software version for apple products. I have a iPod touch. After the process of updating my software, my photo app doesn't work anymore. I can't take pictures or view them at all. Every time I try opening the app it kicks me out of it and sends me to the home screen. I have tried turning off my iPod and back on multiple times. Even double tapping the home screen button and closing my opened apps. And I tried looking for the photo app in the app store but I did not see it. So I am wondering what can I do? And is this due to the new software update? Does anyone else have this problem?

No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

  • Software update for n8

I have received a software update for my N8 V.111.021.0028 and my current v.is 111.030.0609.if I click update it ll show processing then stop.pls someone should help me

Like the OP, something odd happened when I connected my N8 to PCSuite to sync my Contacts with Outlook yesterday: I got a notification that my N8 had a software update avaialble. I clicked on the notification which launhced Nokia Software Updater.  I know N8 is not supported with NSU, but I let it run anyway, and as expected, I got a message that I must use Nokia Suite instead of PCSuite to update the phone.
So I connected the N8 to another PC which had Nokia Suite installed, but then the phone files no update for N8 available.  I checked for updates via the phone settings directly and again, no update available.
So why the spurios message that an update was available via NSU?

  • Software update for nokia x2 01

Sir, i am a nokia x2 01 user from the last 1 and half year. But no update is available for the phone till this date. My phones software version is 08.71. I want software update for my phone soon as availble and also want to know is it possible to customize the main window's icon. Hope you will do the required soon.reply me soon. Thankz in advance. Love you nokia

V 08.71 is the current firmware version for your product code. Furthermore, V 08.71 is the latest firmware for your model (RM-709). With your phone (a Nokia Series 40), Nokia does not talk about upcoming firmware version, when they are not ready, yet. However, looking at the age of your phone model, and the usual support-cycles, I would guess, just a guess, no new firmware version is going to come. Nokia does not update the firmware like Apple does with their three-year plans, you know?
Therefore, let us approach your query in a different way: What is wrong with your phone?

  • N97 v.21.0.045 in UK ((for some product codes))

I found today that there's update v.21.0.45 for product code :
    0591861 RM-505 BLACK
so i checked the Internet and found that it's available too for product code:
    0591721 RM-505 WHITE
so now i have both my N97 (( MENA version and CV UK version )) with v.21 .... yuppy!!
-you can show appreciation to my posts if it helped or useful by pressing the green Kudo star beside my post that hepled
-if my answer was the solution , so click accept as solution button
    Started From Nokia 3310 , Now with Nokia N97 v.22.0.110 + N900 PR1.2

Be aware that those are not the codes for the standard (most popular) UK models. The update for these two codes has been available for over a week.
They are for the "comes with music" version of the N97 that very few people have, in fact i've not seen it on sale anywhere on the high street yet.
Most people in the UK (with unbranded phones) either have the 0585162 (black UK CV), the 0587240 (white UK CV) or the 0587691 (CPW UK GB Black) codes.
What is more annoying is that this firmware is no different from the standard UK CV firmware.
Any UK users that are unhappy about this please post on this thread:

  • Software update for 5228

I just bought the nokia 5228 and i want to upodate it so it can read emoticons on the text messages but when i go to sw on the application it says that no new update has been found can someone help me?
    thanks

Availability of update depends on Product Code / Region. Also, if the phone is Network locked, then the update is possible only after an approval from the Operator. ..So, it seems there is NO update available for your phone yet. Wait and Keep on checking..
Anyways your phone is NOT listed here.....

  • Errors afyer software update for my Z10

Right after software update for my bb z10, i can not opewn now setrings, notification and wifi. How can I fix this? Please help

I suggest you try the very clean and very forceful AutoLoader method:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...
Beware that it is completely destructive...the device will be "like new"...no data, no apps, no accounts, etc. Be sure you take a full backup first, as well as make full manual documentation of all apps, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduces the very corruption one is trying to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is necessary.
You can also use this to fall back to a prior OS if you desire...you can install any OS level for which you can find an AutoLoader. (Hint...search over on the CB site!)
Good luck and let us know!

  • What is the next software update for my Mac OS X v10.5.8? What do i need to to do?

What is the next software update for my Mac OS X v10.5.8? What do i need to to do?

10.5.8 is the last free update available for your system. If you wish to upgrade to newer versions of Mac OS X, you will first need to purchase and install a copy of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard is back on the online Apple Store, at least in some countries. In the US:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
If it's not listed on the web site of the Apple Store in your country, call the online Apple Store, they may still have copies of Snow Leopard available.
Once you have upgraded to Snow Leopard, you then will have the option to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion, if you wish to do so and your system will support it.
    Regards.

  • Software update for Nokia asha 311???

when will Nokia release a software update for asha 311 plz?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

5.92 is currently the latest SW version for Asha 311 (and it should be available to most customers). There will be eventually further SW releases for the device, and when those are available, I will be posting about them here. Can't comment anything more specific at this time.
The update availability topic is a tricky one. There can be hundreds of SW variants per product usually and creating/testing/approving/publishing those requires many steps. That is the main reason why you may see some of the users getting the update sooner than others - operator variants are often the most tricky ones. We are looking into improving the process as we can.
